After a tough breakup, Isabel seeks solace in her new apartment. But as she tries to move on, a strange phenomenon unfolds: every time she flushes the toilet, a tsunami hits somewhere in the world. Is it a bizarre coincidence, or is Isabel somehow connected to these catastrophic events? "Flush" is a short film that explores the messy, sometimes absurd nature of heartbreak, with a surreal twist.
Created by Hilario Abad, José Bermejo (MayorKing AI), and Jesús Plaza for the third edition of GEN:48 (September 2024). As we ended up with a much longer script, we decided to conclude the movie afterwards, and this is the result. The voiceover for the protagonist was dubbed by the talented actress Gema Abad.
