Really nice gameplay, you are skilled. Abit of constructive criticism, the editing is abit TOO much with all the slow motions constantly and the black and white screens, sort of gets annoying. Try to dum down on it so it looks less messy. But again really good pvp skills, hope to reach that level, im a necro too.
Thanks for checking out the video and the compliments on my gameplay. Necro is definitely super fun and powerful and has many viable specs for PVP and WvW. Thanks for the feedback on my editing style as well. I appreciate the input. I know my editing style for montages is love or hate for a lot of people. But this is how I edit, and there are an absolute ton of players who upload footage without any editing at all. This is what I enjoy and I would rather do my own thing, even if it means it is a love or hate it style. But again, I truly appreciate the feedback!

Hey my friend! I truly don't do anything outside of playing normally - like, I'm not actively thinking about Life Force generation. Perhaps to my own detriment, honestly- if you watch the guide video that goes along with this spec, I have an entire PVP match start to finish with commentary, and several times I actually do run out of Life Force before I "finish" the combos I want to execute while in Shroud. There's a good trait, I think it's the final row of Blood Magic - but basically it passively gives you Life Force over time, but unless they've changed it since I played this build last, it only gives you LF generation while OOC. It's definitely a good option if you're having trouble with your LF pool / management - I think I cover it a little deeper in the video.
Yeeeee, one of my favorite bands of the last couple of years. This track reminds me a lot of some of the music I listened to in the 90s etc. Thanks for checking the video out!
Hahah thank you bro! It can be a nice change of pace sometimes but the matchmaking in PVP is definitely wild. I've never taken it super seriously, but it was PVP that got me back into the game a couple years back playing Reaper. I still prefer WvW over anything else, but it's fun to mix it up. Cheers!
Yeah it's a really fair and good question, honestly. So I basically have run Savagery to synergize with Chilled to the Bone. I think there's a handful of sigils that you can swap in that are maybe just straight up better. Savagery is just a bit of a holdover sigil from my early play with the build. I haven't been playing Reaper enough recently to have a hard take on what I think the ideal sigil would be to swap in. Eventually I'll get back to playing Reaper and toss a couple diff Sigils in. Yep, it's a power build! It works in WvW as well with the same exact build paths - if you scroll down in the comments a little to "King Rush" questions, I drop the build and all down there. You can also find this build as a solo roamer on my channel. I'm also working on a guide that's absolute-beginner friendly and will include the full build, gear, runes, sigils, and more, mega in depth explanations of almost everything, and gameplay commentary, featuring almost all of the clips in this video and the WvW video as well.
I wrote about it a little in the "Community" tab - basically my channel got terminated by UA-cam by an error in the system, I guess like auto moderation. Thankfully I filed an appeal as soon as I got the email and they restored it within a day. Unfortunately even tho the view and like counts are still there, it deleted all comments on all my videos and any comments I have made on other channels. Very unfortunate, but I still feel lucky to have my channel back. Build and guide video will be up tomorrow!

That's a great question, and for PVP - honestly, no. But, in this video I do mention how I think a build that utilizes a lot of shouts that you get access to as Reaper utilities may eventually be strong and is worth keeping an eye on - and Condi Reaper using shouts IS currenttly the best / meta Reaper spec. I have been doing solo ranked games and have been filming them all, and plan to make a PVP mini guide around the current meta Reaper build. I do think GS Reaper can still be a lot of fun specifically in open world content, tho and maybe WvW, especially when playing in a group!

It's done! It's 35 ish minutes long too so it's a whole boat lol. I had to scrap the voiceover and re record it so once it's a done it will be up ASAP!
It is still viable. This build is loosely based off of the Metabattle build called Spectral Onslaught and you can basically copy paste the runes, sigils, and relics shown there and apply it to this build, or you can use what I linked in my pinned commet and just add a Fireworks relic. The main difference is running the Greatsword instead of Axe Focus.
We have all been there and still visit from time to time lol. I have been working on an beginner friendly extreme deep dive Reaper guide for a couple months. It's almost ready. I break down just about everything I can imagine, and I review an entire PVP match where I have 17 kills, 1 death, and 400k ish damage, explain what I am doing and why, and where I make misplays and what I should have done. Spectral ring is completely useless, I don't know why anybody ever uses it. Your build so far gets melted in testing, I think they nerfed this. Also, why use the worst healing skill? You generate no life force, it makes you weaker to everything and it takes longer to use per session.

I can't quite keep tabs on every build I play on every class over too long a span of time, you know? The Spectral slot is the flex spot for me - I do like Spectral Ring quite a lot, and I feel like it works well for me with my playstyle when I run it. Just in the first clip in this montage I feel like you can see me use it several times and get value. But maybe there is a better option. What do you prefer for that slot? As far as the heal, I feel like it's either YSIM, Well, or Consume. I like Consume for the condi clear, but I think there's a real argument for either of those other options. I have a pretty long deep dive guide on this build where I briefly touch on Consume vs YSIM, and that YSIM is a strong option if you don't need the condi clear.
