Just made an order now as I need to wash my bike. Thanks for the demo.
Thanks! Good to know what to expect.
I got one the other day filled it up for rinsing my van only filled it about 5 times with the water can quite pleased with it
Nice review and demo. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
I live in a flat and so no access to a hosepipe or jet washer, I bought this a few months ago and couldn’t workout how to fill it! So thanks to your video I can now wash the car better than the bucket method, I needed something to rinse off the suds after sponging the car, and I think this is perfect for that.
I live in a flat too so I am in the same situation. I can see that you added your comment 4 months ago so do you think it is worth it after using it for 4 month?
You couldn't figure out how to fill it? Fkn hell some people...
Nice video and review. Was thinking of getting one of these, mainly for my mountain bike so looks perfect for that and pretty cheap too so this has helped. Cheers
Glad I could help. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you for making this video, I bought one recently but haven't used it yet.. I was a bit concerned to have the extra rings in the bag, thinking they had to be attached somewhere but obviously I now see they are spare parts.
I plan to use this for my motorbikes and mainly to rinse off whatever solution I apply (which will be by hand using cloth/brush to agitate). I'm sure the pressure will be enough for the size of a bike. 😊
Good review. Going to get one myself to spray shampoo or tfr etc. Thanks for uploading.
Hi glad it was of use. Yeah as an applicator it is great and also for some light work. thanks again.
Thank you for this instructive video. So helpful. It just what I need.
Glad it was helpful!
Perfect for washing bicycle!
brilliant video review of this, I've just bought the new Evoque and have seen the Land Rover version of this at £200+ redicilous really, and this is at £14+ on Amazon, the only reason I want this is for my dog after a beach walk when she goes in the sea, this is perfect for that. than you so much, you just saved me a whopping £175+.
Thanks for the comment.
A very good review. Even though you used a car, I saw a perfect and a good priced item to use for my bicycle..... I ordered one!!
Thanks man, I’m gon get me one😁
I bought one for cleaning my mountain bike before putting it back in the car, works very well 👍
Nice 👍Thanks for the comment.
I wanted to buy one for exactly the same reason! I’m getting it then! Thank you!
good review thanks
DO you have pressure calculations, I am looking forward on your answers. thank you.
Thanks for this, I need one for my motorbike, so this seems like a good enough pressure for my bike at least
Hi and thanks for the comment. I will be using it for mine ( Just ordered it :D ) Glad it was of use. thanks again.
Have you guys used it for a motorbike yet ? I’m looking for an option to clean mine as I’ve moved and don’t have access to a hose yet
@@futurewdt yeah I use it weekly, you have to pump it about 20 times each spray but it lasts and gets all the dirt and grime off so I'm happy with it at least
Lucas Delaney Oh ideal, thanks mate I’ll get one today.. on eBay for £16.99 so can’t complain too much!
Ride safe 💪🏽
Thanks for this review. Have ordered one for washing my bikes. I have no power or running water where they are stored, and this looks much better than a bucket & sponge for a quick post-ride wash down
Thanks for the comment. I am using it on mine ua-cam.com/channels/T_LcQEbaeLT5RNvkWEweDA.html I add warm water and the shampoo into the container then over pump it to get higher pressure (there is a pressure relief valve if I go to far) It knocks of most of the regular dirt and I just go over with a microfibre before rinsing with a hose. The only thing that has needed extra work has been the wheels. I hope you find it useful as others here have. Thanks again.
@@TechItOut Received today and used for the first time. For a thorough clean I’ll still need a bucket of water, but it’s perfect for giving it a soak at the start and a rinse at the end. What I want it for most is to give the rims and brakes a quick blitz when I get back from a ride and don’t have time to do a full clean, so they’re not too gritty next time, and I think it’ll be perfect for this
I would have thought it would be better to use the soft brush provided .?
By mistake i remove the pump nossle where der is lubricant and put water in it. So should i lubricate it.
Perfect for ebikes
Can you show how you assembled the parts including the o rings as mine don’t appear to fit and it’s not working properly . I don’t have the same box or instructions as you but it’s exactly the same item . Much appreciated
Nice video. This will be perfect for rinsing my motorcycle off after I've shampooed it.
Don't like using a jet washer on the bike. Thanks for the info 👍🏻
Thanks for the comment. Glad it was of use.
I bought RAC portable pressure washer after watching your video but pressure turned out to be much lower than yours,Returned the very next day.
Hi and thank you for the comment. I have not tested the RAC one you mention, maybe I should put it on my list for a future video. This one although not high powered did manage to take most of the loose dirt off but the main benefit was being able to use hot/warm water. Something you can only normally do with very expensive units. With it being hot it gets under the dirt better to lift it so when you use a powered pressure washer to rinse it cleans far far better. Also no swirl marks. Thanks again.
Anyone know how to stop air escape ING from the Red Safety Valve please??
Mine leaks like a seive and I can hear the pressure coming out so not working and there are no decent instructions to stop this. I understand that I may need to put the nodules under the handle to "improve" it but I am unable to get this to work either opening or closing. Probably made made for men's hands
i have just got one of these to clean my garage and doors/windows. just wondering what the extra bits are because it only mentions on the instructions that there are two spare washers for the lance extension. i see you have the same extra bits as i do... 3 spare washers, plus that extra big one and that round rubber cap... what are they for?
Would you say it sprayed with a higher pressure than a regular kitchen sink sprayer? Thinking about buying this for washing off screen printing supplies. Might it make a good camp/beach shower?
Sorry I can't comment as I do not know how powewrful your sink spray is, that all depends on your home water pressure. For the beeach it would be ideal I think.
Good enough for a car by the looks of things. At least it will not remove a layer of paint off the car lol. I live in a flat with no access to a hose so this is ideal.
For a car it may need a couple of refills and the added use of a sponge but yes. Thanks for the comment.
Is this ok to use on cars - is the pressure fine for a full wash
Just purchased one for the same purpose.
Great video! I'm thinking about buying one of these to keep in the car and wash my dog off after a muddy dog walk. do you think the pressure is ok for this and whether the brush is gentle enough to brush my dog with? Ive seen that smaller brushes can be bought and I'm wondering whether they can be attached to this pressure washer for cleaning my dog?
Hi yes it would be OK I would think for the doggies. The pressure is not extreme as with powered ones and the brush isa good balance between stiffness and flexibily. You may have to shorten the tube to make it a little easier to handle. Thanks for the camment.
I’m going to get one for citrus prewash as a normal 5 litre garden sprayer is so slow
Could you use this with the muc off snow foam?
Is it possible to shorten the spray wand? This might be useful for people who tour the show-car or race circuit and want the car to look pretty without using a hose & bucket.
H. Yes the want can simply be cut to length as you need or if you can find a tube of the same diameter then as long as you want also. Thanks for the question.
Just bought one for washing cars with…looks like I’ll be giving it an extra Scrub down with the brush included
I'm guessing this would work great for a touch less wash on a car that's been ceramic coated
I would use warm water rather than hot but yes perfect for pre-wash as it no only soaps but also has some pressure to gently jet off the dirt and force the soap under what is left ready for full pressure washing. Also you do not seem to need to get as close to the panels which I think would be good for wrapped cars. I know your frustration. I have been using this since Windows 7 and I must admit finding it was lucky at that time as I was looking for a good equalizer. Thanks for the comment. Glad it was of use.
Would that be enough for washing decking on patio you reckon? Thank you!
Sorry but this is not powerful enough for that use. Thanks for the question.
Says on the box can wash patio, absolute lie may I add . Tried it myself
Can I ask what the little packet of washers or rubber seals etc are for. I have purchased but there’s no explanation what these are for
How long does the water last for before it runs out
Hi would you recommend it to quickly take dirt off my sons mx bike before I transport it home to give it a proper wash?
Yes it should get a great deal off. Thanks for the comment. Glad is was of use.
I was just looking for something to rinse with because I haven't got a hose tap, this looks like it may do the trick.
How long does it run for?
Hi. I was able to go around the car twice in the video if that is of any help. Thanks for the question.
@@TechItOut Thanks, I've looked at other hoseless options, I don't think you can expect that much for about £15-£20 but it will probably do the trick for me, I used to water my dads' tomato plants with something like this! ;)
You can probably make little rainbows with it on a sunny afternoon if you are bored too!
Planning to rinse road salt after short journeys, wheel wells and underbody. Will this be man enough?:)
I happen to collect rain water, and hoping this washer won't leave water spots after the spray dries.
Road salt is notoriousley hard to remove even with a full size washer. You would need to spray it then with some shampoo on a microfibre wash it down then rinse spray. General dirt it copes with quite well.
There's no clips on mine??
Great video
Thank you.
Quick attack fire extinguisher with dawn dish soap as a generic foam that's what I'm going to test it out for!
Great idea.
It is good.
I think about of people who buy this dont want to get their hands dirty. Even with the most powerful jet wash, you'd still need to scrub the car alittle.
Just the job for the patio.
So I’m 13 and I’m starting a little car washing business as a summer holiday job and if I like it I will carry on all year round but I was wondering if I should invest in this to kick start my business as it’s only £20 plz reply if recommended
Hi. thanks for the comment. Good to see your entrepreneurship. It may be for either pre wash soaping or post wash gentle rinse. Good luck with the business.
I just got one of these but no water comes out when I press the trigger. Any idea why?
Is there water in it and pump it? 😂
Nice video were do you get one from
Hi and thanks for the question. In the UK you can get it from "The Range" superstore or on Amazon.co.uk. You could try contacting Streetwize on thier website for other outlets outside the EU. www.streetwizeaccessories.com/Catalogue/Streetwize-Accessories/Car-Valeting-Air-Fresheners/PortawasherPortable-Power-Sprayer-SWPW email: sales@streetwizeaccessories.com
I have a one of these that plugs in. Wish I would have seen this. Mine was about $100 USD. This one would be great for condo buildings.
They two others in larger capacities also. Hot washing the car is so much better than straight forward pressure washing it. Thanks for the comment.
Would this clean a house outside walls I mean
Do you think this would be good for cleaning bathrooms and toilets?
Hi. thanks for the comment. I would suggest a steam mop may be more suitable for these. Thanks again.
Great video ..its not exactly a power washer is it so you've saved me £20
Thanks for the comment. Glad it was of use.
I presume this would be perfect budget for washing your bike as you don’t need the most amount of pressure
Got one but didn't come with any instructions on how to put in together, the extension part of it
I hope the video helped. They simply push in to each end then screw on. Thanks for the comment.
@@TechItOut thank you
I have that but you can only use 30x then it will break
Good review but at no point does the product claim to be a 'Jet' washer. So why judge it against that criteria?
Anyway I've now ordered one for the dog!
Lol I love the title 😅 haha
Would you recommend this for washing a wheelie bin?
Yes should be OK with some soak added to the warm water.
Yes
should be good enough to clean my diamond cut protected alloy wheels
'main unit is surprisingly big', yes, about 8lt...
Thanks for the comment. They also do a 12L version I believe. thanks again.
It made for pre wash 😊
Useless . Good honest assessment . It is ok with a brush to soap the car up but not as a spray.
You know, I was looking for something to clean dishes in an old RV with no water system. This just might work.
Thanks for the comment.
I used this once successfully with only half filled container and got very low pressure and then the second time, 3/4 full of water, the handle I was pumping pulled straight out of the tube and can't be fitted back in. Useless.
Thanks for showing…
It would have been great if you had completed the whole job using this washer… to give a better perspective of practical use… my conclusion from your video 8:30 is to just get an electric pressure washer and not bother with this..
Ok, but how about using it as a person washer? By that I mean a portable shower.
Possible for washing sand of feet and legs. I don't think UA-cam would have allowed me to make a "Shower" video with it though. :)
Be ideal for a caravan
tip. start from the top and then make your way down
i think i'll stick to washing my car my old fashion way with damp wet cloth then leather it off its less hassel
Shaking the wand won't make it work any faster. Lol
Sounds perfect for what I want.
Balcony 🐕 💩 cleaner.
I know I shouldn't let my dog
💩 on my Balcony its not nice for the neighbor's who do actually use their Balcony.
But I don't. My dog does instead. It's around 4 meters area caged in kennel sized mayb. This might be absolutely perfect.
Hot water and Jay's fluid or zoflora mix. Spray the 💩 residue down the drain and leave a nice scent everywhere.
Mayb even spray half a can of bug spray into it so it pools up in the bottle add water then spray that all over.
If it can spray boiling water mayb ide even reclaim my shed from all the spiders.
Will it work on a patio? Bird shit? It's a small patio with no water nor electricity.
The music is to click off by.
Very little pressure
only used once cant open the dam thing
This is nothing special. All it is, is a re-branded pump sprayer.
I bought one it's crap the pressure is nothing like this video
101 dislikes for what
Yes UTTER CRAP ! Used mine twice in 6 months it then broke (the red valve snapped), now utterly useless.
i think this is not good for washing cars. the power is not strong.
Thanks for the comment. This was my conclusion in the video but is is good for applying warm car wash mixture. Thanks again.
Get those portable cordless pressure washer kits will be better. These hand pump washers are a waste of time.
Audi yıkamak için bunu mu aldın, nasıl bir travma bu ya.
Terrible! More leaks than Julian Assange, mine lasted 6 months before the plastic at the bottom cracked... time consuming to use, more suitable for the garden
I have one and its completly rubbish....bit of window cleaning maybe...not a car..waste of money.
Thanks for the comment. As I say in the video light use or my re-purposing would be fine but heavy use would not be possible. Thanks again.
L khan, This guy is showing it for car quite well, did you leave enough air space when you filled it
So you can build up pressure
L Khan, did you use this same model or another?
