I'm not usually attracted to yellow and orange, but your spin is gorgeous! My favorite word is serendipity. It's nice to know I'm not the only crazy person who actually has a favorite word.

We went to see Aladdin on Thursday evening. Went into Manchester early and what we saved on train fare we spent on an early meal out. Strange place. Lovely food, but they didn't have hot drinks!
As we were cold and damp, a cup of tea was dearly needed. We ended up in McDonald's having a nice large cup after our meal.
Aladdin was spectacular. In the top three of my theatre trips of all time. So much so we are going again early June!
They had the magic carpet ride. No idea how they did it as the background was on show the whole time. As we was leaving we could hear the little ones talking about how did they find a real magic carpet.
A lot of the little girls where dressed as Princess Jasmine and even a couple of Genies.
Was so jealous and wished I could wear a Princess Jasmine costume, with sparkly tiara, of course!
The whole audience was enthralled and engrossed by the performance.
Also managed to crochet a drawstring bag for one of my granddaughters for her holidays. Mad rush finishing it yesterday before our son, her Daddy, finished work so he could take it too her.
Stayed nearly on pattern, just different colours, in a do weight and extra granny stitch rows to make it taller. Was lovely to crochet again, but today I know I did too much yesterday. To be fair I would have rested more if it hadn't been on a time schedule.
Hope up had a lovely meet up with Susan from the US. Any yarn purchases?

I am so glad your ultrasound went well. I remember when I was pregnant with my son I had an ultrasound and was feeling very uncomfortable on the way. We took a the shorter way through the parking lot not realizing that there were at least a half dozen speed bumps that way. My husband laughed hysterically when he saw them coming. I didn’t laugh until much later.

Ohhh the full bladder tests! Miserable, and these days I may not be able to contain myself lol. Your spun yarn is beautiful. My excitement this week was my neighbors pig emptied my garbage bin on the road and my driveway. Thank goodness my neighbor (not the pig owner) came home and had it all cleaned up before I got home. Ohhh I am so glad for that. Interestingly enough another person came by while Ms. Pig was still here and filmed her, my gosh she is as big as my garbage bin!!! Oh well, country living. Take care. Hi Lesley, you must have been quite relieved when the scan was over! 😅 So glad there was nothing wrong. Hope you’re having a nice weekend. Busy this side with significant birthday and Mother’s Day today, and violent showers, mostly when you’re out shopping without an umbrella or raincoat. My rug is almost done and it’s only garter stitch, I envy your talent. Have a great week, take care xx

Hopefully you will have an answer soon. Belly issues are hard to diagnosis because so many share the same symptoms. 🤞

The ultrasound tech gave me the choice of pants first or bathroom first. Bathroom first please! 😅

I hear your concerns about the prep for having a pelvic ultrasound. The last time I went for one my bladder was too full. To make things clear, I’ve never been an overachiever. The lovely tech told me that I had to get rid of about a specimen bottle full of urine.Let’s just say that was a fail. I had to drink another full glass of water. I was there another 30 minutes until my bladder was at the optimal level of fullness. I didn’t have your long journey though Leslie. I’m glad everything went well for you. I look forward to watching the months end podcast tomorrow.🌸🧶

My journey wasn't long, but my goodness, it felt like it.
