Hi Lesley,, I agree I've had a lethargic week too. Possibly the heat with me.
Can't stand being to hot. Luckily, in Winter, our home is a warm one, but when it's a bit hot it can get a bit too much for me.
26.5 at the moment in our living room with a big fan blasting away.
Crafting had been good this week. I have managed quite abit.

As I was listening to your podcast, I was taking out a million rows of mosaic knitting on my Artus shawl. There was glaring mistake that I thought I could live with; not! Have a great week enjoying your good weather and making. It is crazy hot here in North Carolina with temperatures in the mid to upper 90s. 🔥

Wild. I just finished the Turtle Dove Cardigan. I also modified it to have the sleeve tighter to my armpits. It's far too hot to wear it now, but I think I'll get a lot of use out of it in the fall and winter in Minnesota.

Recently finished my Turtledove cardigan in hand spun alpaca,love it! Like the batwing sort of shoulder as easy to get on as layering piece without strangling armpits. Thought if color work on yoke as knitting in one piece but instead did tonsl stripes though have plenty of alpaca yarn. Now finished a tabard from 1970s pattern, again layering piece that's forgiving of body change.
Now 91F here, staying in with fan and little ac. Hope all gets better for you

Hi Lesley. Finally got a chance to catch up. We were away over the weekend in Cumbria. I've had a virus for a couple of weeks, which has completely floored me . This coming weekend is Wool @ junction 13. I'm running on negative energy.

Glad you had a lovely time with your sister but sorry you are feeling a bit under par! Hope you perk up very soon! I think the construction of your poncho/cape sounds interesting although I’m struggling to visualize it at present. I’m sure all will be revealed in due course. My grandson tells me I crochet with my eyes closed often mid afternoon. He also tells me I snore.

I understand snoring while crocheting. But a friend of mine says if she falls asleep while knitting, she ends up with purled stitches, even in the middle of stockinette. And apparently I'm the same. I would love a neurologist to comment on that, because to me it seems totally weird.
I have yarn overs and slipped sts when knitting. I think it should be studied. Give me yarn and a comfy chair and I am more than willing to be part of the trial 😉
