You have really strong fingers. I’ve been playing guitar for 40 years on and off, bands and bands etc and this year have been learning classical. With a pick I can shred and it’s amazing to learn what you can do with your nails. Great channel 🤘🏻🙌

This is so helpful honestly. I've never had a teacher and I can pretty easily play stuff like Lagrima but I have such a lack of knowledge on pieces and studies so I love learning this easy stuff that benefits my technique cause a lot of days I just feel like a terrible player. My right hand needs a lot of work I have bad technique from playing acoustic and anchoring my pinky so I don't shake

I highly recommend this free online course by This Is Classical Guitar, it is the most THOROUGH class I’ve ever taken, and it eases into even music reading, but in a way that is just so simple to get piece by piece. He even takes you hand by hand through positions and things for situations like technique and his yet channel has a plethora more of helpful tips and tutorials. You gotta do the free handbook and the corresponding video together and make sure to watch all the orientation and introductory videos, I like it so much so far, I’m comfy playing even with a regular steel string acoustic. God bless! 😊

Thank you for the time and effort to answer people's request and produce this video.

Alex will be my online teacher when I get a good classical guitar that should be delivered soon. I have been playing on and off various guitars over 53 years and never had a lesson. Having been a language teacher I can see perfectly well that Alex is a born teacher. I have always wanted to play classical guitar but never acquired any technique. I lived in Spain for many years and love Spanish guitar music. The discipline involved will be a challenge for me, but the rewards will come. Her technical attack is nothing short of thrilling and very inspiring.

i've never learned to read music or music theory but i've played many of those pieces just by ear and tab. it's great to see your progression. I started in high school with electric: metallica, black sabbath, iron maiden, rush, ect. now i play classical 99% of the time.

These beginner vids are great. i wish you had a roadmap series for beginners. i like how you point out the certain techniques that translate to other pieces. I've been wanting to learn classical guitar for a long time, but figuring out where to start and learning to read sheet music are the 2 most intimidating things. Congratulations on 200k, Good luck on your journey to one million.

Oooh Vuelvo al Sur feels like the piece i was waiting for!! Thank you very much! Easy enough but absolutly beautiful 😊
PS: In case this is not a rhetorical question at 12:19: The camera is on auto settings, so it constantly adjusts white balance and focus. Sometimes it re adjusts itself wich leads to a more yellow picture or focus on the decoration in the background instead of you. I don´t think it takes away from the video! But if you´d like to avoid it you can set the camera manually.

    Hello Alexandra.
My brother's name is Alejandro. Which pronounced in Spanish sounds a lot like your name.
I'm also a musician, a guitarist, like you.
Actually my favorite guitar player, after you, would probably be Paco de Lucía, or Francisco Tárrega, or Angus Young.
    I'm argentinian.
    You play Piazzolla.

I did view both segments which you had prepared for us. I would like to share my observations with “you” (Alexa), since you voiced some uncertainty about whether you had accomplished what you set out to do. Additionally, in recognition of the important fact that I am a member of the over 200,000 (ever increasing) legion who follow your valuable contributions to many, many important topics. I hope that my thoughts here, will prompt the contribution of even more people to share their thoughts as a measure for you just how significant having information, no matter how low value some may feel that it is, presented by an informed person is. When the presenter sets forth information from their own experience, they naturally do so in a fashion that makes sense to them. Whether their recollection is categorical, historical or “any other fashion of recollection” (I apologize. You see Alexa, you are not alone in having a loss of memories!), what becomes more important for those who are listening, is that the content become attached to the person presenting it. This allows for a formation of the content by each individual viewing the video, into a “personal shape” of their own rendering. We “students” aren’t readily aware of the transformation that is happening in micro-measurements of time, being totally engaged by our charming expert who is master of the concept. I hope that you find this explanation useful. You are so much more than a professional performer. A musician of profound comprehension. A UA-camr with 200k! You are a person of exquisite passion who cares enough about those of us who appreciate your accomplishments that you demonstrate your loving kindness in video form. I am truly grateful to you. JimR
