I love these Q&A videos. Here's a couple more questions for the futures one. Have you thought about playing the lute? And also are or were your parents musical?
Lute would be interesting - analogy Lute would be kind of the Recorder in the flute world, a very mellow sweet sound.
Thanks for sharing this Q&A with us; love from West Virginia!
Great advice and insight. So true about balancing technique and theory. I used to think that if I had incredible technique that everything else would be easy but it’s not that simple lol.
I would love to see you play electric guitar~ (although I love to see you play any guitar.)
What is the name and composer of that "feel good" piece you just uploaded?
Hi Alexandra.
I am an amateur guitar player. I have been thinking about purchasing a quality instrument for a long time. I am not a performer. I don't play on stage. My guitar is ok but it is not made in Spain, it is not a quality instrument. Which guitar should I purchase that is not too pricey? Thank you.
P. S. I started playing guitar (as a hobby) in the early 1970s.
I have passed about 3/4 of this video when writing this comment. Nearly all questions are personal. Maybe most people who asked are classical guitarists, so, there is no technical question.
Ponce or Tedesco? - Rodrigo
Nope we love music 🎶
The guitarists wanting to play cello is sooo true!
I know it's quite randomly asking but does anyone know of a good website to stream newly released tv shows online ?
At 73 and 5'6" I'm a little older and shorter...but you are wonderfully mature and motivational Alexandra. It's so wonderful to hear you share yourself with us in this Q&A and what an inspiration and joy to hear you playing. Beautifully done always...Thank You.
Picked up my guitar again and started to go through my (50 years) collection of music. Not practicing .....discovering . You did it, thanks.
Absolutely more of these. And no one asked United or City, what’s wrong with everyone.
Congratulations on your success as a guitarist. So young 23 and making a living playing guitar. thanks for sharing -27c tonight in the yukon. cheers.
Alexandra, this is not a question and the session has already concluded but I want to tell you that last year when my first granddaughter was only about three months old I would play your performances for her and she was literally enthralled, paying close attention time after time to your beautiful everything! You will probably have transcendence beyond your imagination. Thank you so much and take care of yourself, we look forward to listening to you as much as you can produce. Lovely voice, by the way. God bless.
Lovely Carlos!!!💜💜🤗🤗
What you said about NOT trying to memorize- I am of the same mind. I gave that up in childhood, and I still can go back and perform most of what I taught myself decades ago. Thank you for this interview!
You have a great down to earth feeling on your channel.. mostnof the other classical channels are more about demonstrating how good they are rather than encouraging us to become as good as we can. Well done.
My thoughts entirely. She's down to earth, which is not the case of many who feel superior and therefore do not get across to their audience and students.
Excelente. Charlar un rato con una gran Guitarrista! Greetings from México 🇲🇽
i have already stopped counting, and im pretty sure im only 18
You will start to count years again when you'll be approaching your 40's ;). I like videos when artists are talking... About their career, instruments techniques, music theory,... Everything related to music so if you make them I'll watch them. Thanks and hello from Belgium.
Japanese guiter playing music howdoyou ?
I really enjoyed this Q & A. I especially appreciated your honesty about struggling with sadness and motivation at times during the pandemic. One reason why I started watching your performance videos is the the excellent staging and videography in addition to your inspired playing.
I loved the video and honesty. You always remain natural and bubbly. I broke both of my thumbs and joint ligaments, so I cannot play anymore and love to listen to your playing mucho mucho... Cello is my other love for strings as well.
As a fellow Manc, I’m so glad you mentioned United not City! Great Q&A session, you have a natural manner that communicates your love of the music you play. An added dimension to your wonderful playing! Thank you 😊
Felicidades por cultivar tú talento día con día, a kiss from México city.
You are amazing!
Thank you Alexandra for your sincere answers
👍👏🌹🌹🌹💕.
Really, really like the Q & A videos! Do more! My question is: approximately how often will you be uploading guitar performance videos to You Tube for 2021?
Linda, beijos beijos beijos, você é minha paixão. Adoro te ouvir, linda linda linda 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛
Thank you Alexandra, I enjoyed this video. You have motivated me to practice with my guitar. Continues with your wonderful wotk. Greetings from Puebla, Mexico.
Is that "Invisible Man" by Ralph Ellison on your shelf? Sorry, I'm a librarian and book nerd. Always looking at shelves.
Tedesco!!!??? You heretic!!! 😂😂😂 Sorry, I'm a biased Mexican 😅😅😅 You're awesome.
How many hours a day do I have to practice the guitar to become a good musician?
Do you have any distance learning teaching?
I'm French and I live in the south of France.
Thank you for your answer.
Some people find it hard to call it Spanish guitar instead of classical guitar. This type of guitar originated in Spain. Then you have no problem talking about Spanish flu, although it didn't originate in Spain!!!! 😮
Thanks. It’s fun to see your personality. You’ve done much with so few years. Well done.
Are you single ? Heheheh
Alexa 아름다우세요. From S. korea. So Beautiful.
Mi Diosa....Alexandra, eres mi luz.. Te amo...!!!💘💘💘💘
Hi Alexandra, nice to hear from you. So, Do you know Paco de Lucia, and if the answer is yes, which piece of music did you like the most from him?
I like very much to listen to you talking. But guessed wrong. Took you to be from southern UK. Why not make some other videos with you talking of your mucisionship and stuf.
May I know the exact product name of which guitar string you used?
I love videos and im hoping some day you tour usa new york city ..I been watching yor practice with vids and just pick a few pointers... just a question as you practice have yiu ever broke out into say a Rock riff like zeppelin or favorite rock quitar ?
Wow, me too..fascinated by the Cello. Not the sort of thing I'd want to lug around, much less make room for at home. (nice earrings)
Very engaging vid!
The advice here can be useful to all aspiring musicians, not just guitar
Only 23....she seems way more mature than that....behaviour that is not age.(!).
Rugby??? Nice but, you look too soft and delicate!!! Its good to know you like sports too and can be also tough!!!🍷🌹
I hope you have another Q&A session. I have a question for your next Q&A. I thought I saw you play one piece using a capo. Unusual using a capo on a nylon-string classical guitar. Is there a special capo for a classical guitar? Can you use a capo that you would use on a steel string guitar?
I would never have guessed you were from Manchester. Sounds so Irish!
I see... so you've just been playing with my feelings this whole time.
I feel betrayed 💔
Love you.👍🤭😘😘😘,o my god, just me know you have any any you want.taiwan
I loved this video I could listen to you often in videos like this, relaxed, on topic, and genuine/humble. You are very well suited to these and I'm sure well received.Thank you for putting in the time and effort. Hello from Traverse City Michigan U.S.A. I love guitar 6strings ,12 srings accoustics electrics and I'm learning repair.
Well done!!!
You're a very nice young lady..
Your style of playing is all you, more well developed each year.
Blonde hair gets me every time. You're so cute!!!!
As a new fan, it is great to learn a little about you; good video. Which guitarist is your motivation, admiration? I’ve had the privilege of listening to John Williams several times and have met him back stage; I greatly admire him. I studied under the talented Michael Chapdelaine.
Yeah, I can kind of see what you mean about some of those (Regondi) sections being tough! It is hard enough to try and watch the fingering (speed) - let alone realize the player has to keep consistent even note duration and finger placement.
you are always blushing😅 in the video's but it's a cute
I make this request to you because there are many Latinos who watch your videos and do not know English.
I clarify to you I am Latin
Saludos !! Desde Argentina !! ❤️
Thanks. You're very good at this.
Tocas el concierto de Aranjuez??
How about Alexandra !! Congratulations on the growth of your channel I am a great admirer of yours and I would like that if it is in your possibilities you can put your videos with Spanish subtitles From already thank you very much!!!!
The old Yamaha is sitting in the corner. Waiting for a restring.
Great!!💖
I just live to see and hear you playing, love your music!! Young, beutiful and very talented!! Greeting from México
Happy year of the Ox
I wonder when you were learning Malcolm Arnold's Concerto, you tried to play like other players like Julian Bream or you tried to play your own version?
Congrats alexandra for showing us your art in your videos, your amazing interpretatión and clean playing. a kiss from Ávila (Spain)
I have to make my partner watch this - she thinks I'm crazy, but I feel like the things I do are just normal guitarist things
Hi
best motivational speech ever 😀
Of course, we'd like to see more of this type of Q&A video...mainly because we just enjoy being with you..even if it is just video. And your playing on videos is inspirational to an old codger such as myself to pick up my guitar and to keep trying. Your Q&A videos are very helpful and informative, and brings us closer to the front row seats away from the high balcony. Your Q&A sessions are more on a personal basis, even though it is evident that you still open up and show your very soul to us mere mortals when your talented fingers grace the strings and fretboard and bring heaven a little closer to us all. Now, how's that for a compliment? But a sincere one. Someday when things are back to "normal" and you can travel to perform concerts, I may be so lucky as to snare one of those distant back seats, lean back in my chair, and listen to a dream.Thank you from Texas!
Cool thanks for doing this.
Hola Alexandra. Estoy súper emocionada con este video, lo espero con ansias 🤭❤️
Saludos desde Argentina! 🇦🇷
Thank you! Here in my small Arts College in Northern Quebec, you are quite the inspiration! Can't wait to listen to your album. Hope to hear you play some more Barrios soon!
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your insights on playing music. I really enjoyed listening to your thoughts on practice, motivation, and learning.
Hi, where do you teach and do you have any vacancies on your class, please?
チャッピーの存在そのものが楽しい!🤫
Introduce you to subscribers!
I love listening to you play. I had classical guitar lessons as a child & still play a bit now. You WOW me. your technical ability is incredible & lovely to see that you seem pretty grounded, whereas someone with you're ability could easily become aloof. So looking forward to coming to see you in concert as soon as possible.
Thanks that was a great think to watch. Nice to hear that someone else is struggling with motivation right now....
I’m a long time fan and I really enjoyed your first Q & A! Congratulations on your debut album, and I can’t wait to hear it in just two days! ❤️ 👏

CIAO ANGELO BIONDO.
You are so authentic, natural... human. May be you have some more clicks, because many people are "listening" with their eyes. Well, it's the message that counts. Go on with what you are doing. love and passion
