My love to Sabaton started with this Song.
I'm a very lazy person. I love to sleep long and I don't like my Alarm.
So I told my Alarm(it's an Alexa Echo Spot) "Alexa, Alarm for 9am, play heavy metal."
I never heard heavy metal before.
At 9am my Alarm went off and it came this Song. I enjoyed the Song so much, that i start hearing more of Sabaton..
Now I can proudly say that i'm a huge fan and Sabaton is my favorite band!

Now I am turning 15 this year and I had forgotten about it and looked in my closet and saw it, tried it and it fitted me perfectly.

I was at that show back in 2013 and I was 12, but unfortunately I didn't get to see the full show cause I was there with my class and we had to go. But I saw them play Carolus Rex and Gott Mit Uns.

To me, this song goes beyond Catholicism and Protestantism. Its about a small group of professional soldiers who put their own personal religious views aside and fought and died to protect the man and city they'd sworn to fight for. Remember, the Swiss were predominantly Protestant and were hired to be the Pope's personal guards based on their combat prowess, alone.
Saturday is the only day worth looking forward to right now as we in the uk face a ninth week of lockdown with no end in sight.

I started listening to Sabaton when one of my favorite characters, Skippy the Orc Helicopter Pilot of Monster Hunter International (Larry Corriea's great books) was blasting Last Stand from the MHI's Mil 24 HIND helicopter....In MH Siege. I had to go listen to the song...and have loved the hell out of Sabaton's Music ever since. (Between Larry, David Weber & John Ringo, I have found some truly amazing stuff)
I only wish that they were coming closer to me on tour. Salt Lake is a 14 hour drive.

Sabaton is a great band. The Swiss Guards fought and fought and died with honour. And many Roman civilians were slaughtered by the mutinous troops.
i love how they interact with the camera and person holding it while still performing in all of these because most other bands wouldn't ever care to even acknowledge someone was there or that hundreds of thousands of people would see what the camera they're holding sees
