So true. Cheers from an arch catholic hessian living in the actually strongly arch portestant german state of hassia. Our City, back then only a town, belonged to one of only few communities in here, who somehow sucessfully withstood the raids of the protestant armies and therefore didn't get forcefully reformed. Sooo.... we remained catholic to the core though surrounded by now proudly protestant towns and Cities...
I think it’s so cool that Sabaton plays with other bands every once in a while like just within the past year they were on tour with Judas Priest, a big time Heavy metal band in america
@@aviationgaming1564 unfortunately I just found out about Sabaton 3 or 4 months ago so that was probably before I knew about them. And I've never reallybpaid much attention to Judas Priest. They may be good too just haven't listened to muchbof their music
@@aviationgaming1564 I just found out about them when I seen a advertisement for them opening for Metallica during Metallicas tour in Sweden and I commented on it and someone had replied and said to check them out and that they were basically Swedens biggest metal band. So I decided to check them out and I mist say I've been very impressed. I have since went out and bought all their albums lol
Wow with the orchestra playing along side the guitars, it adds so much depth to the track especially when played live. This live version sounds like it could be used in a new CoD video game that follows either of the world wars. When two genres come together and it works very well its unbelievable. I think when songs are played live they always sound better.
Just imagine this song, with the same orchestra backing it, playing in Rome on the anniversary of the Sack of Rome.
In the Colosseum
As the new Swiss Guards swear in
Okay
@@Punkmonker or near the Vatican.
Sabaton in general shoul play a full show together with an orchestra. And then? Release it as DVD. 😍😍😍😍😍
A masterpiece of modern rock/metal. Really excellent. And as a Catholic, I love the lyrics
Same here.
I am mad that there just isnt more sabaton with orchestral backing out there
Damn you ain't gonna believe this then, check their socials for info for their 2025 winter tour👀👀

As someone not religious this is an anthem. History still happened the actions of those men catholic or not is commendable and deserves recognition.

How have I not heard of this band. It hard to sound better than the recorded version but they do. New fan and I'll be looking for their shows.
This is masterpiese. Its beautifull when other music instruments play together. Well done Sabaton👌👏
I directly touched the sky with this version of the song

That's how I learned of Sabaton. Seeing they were playing with Metallica and decided to check them out. Wish they would come tour in the states.

It's so cool! Heavy metal + symphony orchestra - like wolf hoffmann's kaver on symphony no. 40...
I’ve seen Sabaton twice and they definitely did amazing each time. This version is simply beautiful and sounds more powerful with the orchestra! 🤩🫶🏼
EPIC as well you get the point BUT awesome
grande sabaton
Ein toller Sänger und Mann.
I bet you never in the minds of the men and woman of that orchestra would they think they would be playing a rock song
Well this orchestra is playing with metal bands from time to time, so it was not for the first (and last) time for them.. 😄
My god, the heavens have opened up & descended to earth
That must of been one hell of a show. I saw them open for Judas Priest
I am Catholic. and I love this song.

This doesn't even sound like its in the same key as the original.
It’s not always gonna be perfect. Except…
Everything Sabaton does is perfect.
