It has been a rainy Spring/Summer season in Europe! Have you ever gone to a place known to be sunny just to be rained on the whole time? 😂

I am currently in Sicily, staying in Syracuse. I have driven to Catania, Argentina and Palermo. The people here are really great, hardworking, courteous and friendly. Yes, the place is really ran down, not very clean on the streets but if you can appreciate antiquity and charm mixed together, you will appreciate this place. I am having a good time here. Currently as I write this, It is around 9:30am. I am sitting outside a pastry shop in the tourist area of Syracuse, having a Cafe. There are people going to work, headed to church for 10am Mass and enjoying what Syracuse has to offer. Overall, I love this place and the people here. I could write more but honestly, you should just come here. If anyone has any questions, I would be glad to answer them if I can. Ciao Ciao

Nice job presenting your impressions in an ultimately positive way. And beautiful camera work! Some of those shots are really amazing. I've taken family videos in the same areas of Catania (and Taormina) and am impressed with how you made the same scenes resonate. I'm curious what camera you used. Also, great job on the music. Very soothing!

We love Sicily, our impressions are always ultimately positive 🥰 Thanks so much! Actually, because the weather was so bad, I mainly used my phone (to not get my camera wet). It's Google Pixel 6. Some footage is recorded with our Panasonic S5. Thanks for mentioning the music, I appreciate it ☺️

Taormina is probably the cleanest and tidiest place in Sicily! Probably because it was basically founded by an English person 🤷‍♀️ We love Sicily in any kind of weather 🥰 Forgot to say the gelato here was so expensive, though! €3.50 as compared to €1.55 in Lake Como for example!

We've been to Sicily 3 times, everytime beautiful. Maybe a bit of research would have helped you choose better timing with weather. They are very traditional where meals are concerned, also research would have helped with food time frame.

    • @travelmurmur

This was our second time in Sicily. I don't think research can help you with the weather, I wish! This was May, May is supposed to be springtime and sunny. Not sure what you mean by food time frame and we had traditional food.
