Yeah for those who didn't see the article this is still a CONCEPT RECORDING that was made only 17 tracks. "The Way Thing Are" is the only track that has never been recording in English that's included. Stalemate, Secrets & Lies, & The Way It Ends are the 3 that we had 2014 demos of that are not going to be included.
A "slime tutorial" is code for "bootleg recording of a musical or stage play". People call them "slime tutorials" to try and dodge UA-cam's copyright detection
i agree for a LOT of reasons: L doesn’t really match the true unsettling feel of L in the anime or the japanese version of the musical. this interpretation just has him seem entirely like he’s just comedic relief, but what made L funny was how he was so smart and clever and yet so strange as a person. lights actor sounds like he’s trying too hard to sound specifically like jeremy jordan in the demo from 2014 and it’s not allowing him to carry his own interpretation of the character. finally, i feel in a sense of theatrical blocking, it feels forced and linear. the direction doesn’t feel like there’s intention. it feels like the characters are just walking for the sake of walking and filling up space, it’s clear the director just told them to walk in a specific pattern while set changes happen during the song. this takes away from the characters motivation. the songs in this musical are a very interesting type of musical theatre song where it plays like two soliloquies happening at the same time. therefore, they should be blocked and played as such to allow the actors to play into an outward acting circle and avoid making the blocking feel awkward. TLDR; L’s acting doesn’t match L in the source materials, light’s actor is trying to hard to be jeremy jordan, and the direction and blocking take all the motivation from the scenes/song
I love L's character acting here lol
A bit sad Stalemate isn't going to be on the new recording but at least we still have this & full audio slime
IT ISN'T WHAT
where can i get full audio slime of this play?
IT ISN’T? Why???? Literally? Everyone who originally knew this musical is a fan of this song. Wtf.

Ahhh my favourite song from the musical, so happy to finally see it on stage 😭

Thank you for your service o7
That drummer going way too hard
Its gold! Do you know where I can find the hole slime tutorial?
So far as I'm aware, there's not a full slime tutorial available as of yet
There are ones for the Japanese version but none for the English version that I am aware of, and the Japanese ones keep getting taken down.
is there a full slime tutorial of "kira!" from the musical?
I don't think so but there is a recording of Adam Pascal (the actor) performing the whole thing at Comic Con
I'm obsessed with this part where can I watch the full musical of this one I can't find it on UA-cam
As far as I know there's not a full slime tutorial
@@subscribetofluffyenderpug that's so tragic
There are two Japanese tutorials with English subtitles!
Ok im sorry but it wasn’t gay enough 😂
Yeah, anything that has L and Light at the same time has to be borderline Homoerotic otherwise it's not right

Wish they had more time to practice
Anyone else feel like this plays like a high school musical at best? This portrayal makes my skin crawl

I feel like them just standing there while singing kinda drain the suspense of the songs tbh
yikes
