I will forever be Team Aeka, but each Tenchi girl has their own charms, and Ryoko's initial cold advances that spin into her becoming once of the most warm, outgoing, funny, loving, and SUPER protective characters in an anime can and SHOULD break anyone's ice. She'll always have a special place in my memories as a teen watching this back in the mid to late 90s. We love Tenchi Muyo!

I remember watching Tenchi Universe when I was eight years old. I saw the character and her name is Nagi. I start drawing Nagi when I was a kid and it brings back so memories. Nagi will always be my favorite character.

This movie was more "real" and somber. Their interactions and situations seemed less played for laughs like in the ova and generally more realistic in their loss of the "family " and tenchi himself. They're still themselves but definitely have that coming together to find their beloved Tenchi and also "the family". They all love each other too but Tenchi is the "glue" that holds them all together. ❤

Honestly, of the musical casts Teppei Koike is still THE defining L who both manages to not crack while singing and keep the qualities of the character in his voice. The original demo L and Kim Sung Chul are great too. Kim Junsu is an... acquired taste.
