FINALLY just watched it and I'm blown away that movie creeped me out and had me scared more than most horror movies I've seen in a long time thats just me but I agree it's an official sequel in my book and best fan film IMO looks and is soooo good.
All I can say is WOW. The horror industry NEEDS artists like Dave and Bruce who understand and respect the genre. This was deliciously terrifying. The girls were all so loveable. I laughed, I cried...what a ride!
Can’t believe this has happened A very unique film . The original was unbelievable and I was only 11 when that film was made I watched Black Christmas a few years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since . Then someone come up with this amazing idea and usually when you see a horror film and it has a sequel it’s not good but for this film it has everything going for it brilliant acting amazing filming and a fabulous ending but it doesn’t end there . For those of you that don’t know And have Netflix You can watch the latest Black Christmas made in 2019 it’s a bit cheesy but still very good . I hope they carry on this black Christmas Cult And if they can’t make one every year make it an alternative year these films should be seen on the big screen . Thank you for uploading this but fortunately I have seen it several times because now you can buy this film for £1.99 on prime TV first time ever on sale in the UK .Thank you for looking happy Christmas everybody. Kevin
I never thought it'd be possible for someone to recreate how intensely creepy the phone calls were from the original film but you guys made it happen. Bravo!
This movie definitely captured the feeling of the original. *It's Me, Billy* could easily be a sequel to *Black Christmas*, if only in the spiritual sense. Right from the get go the mood and atmosphere were perfectly captured. The drone shot in the beginning conveyed such a feeling of isolation. Exactly what you want when setting up a horror movie. The acting was well done. I actually found myself caring for Sam and her friends and hoping they would survive. The twist didn't surprise me (I had a feeling something was off from the get go) but that ending just screams "Sequel!" Overall it was a great movie. Outstanding job to everyone, cast and crew alike. You should all be proud.
Congratulations Dave, Bruce, and the cast and crew on the release of the film! You all have proven that this franchise has a whole lot of life left in it. This is what a fan film should look like. Beautiful job!
My only two gripes with this film is that it wasn't longer and it wasn't on the big screen. 10 out of 10! You guys rocked it! Left me on the edge of my seat wanting more. Thank you so much for this masterpiece!
That ending was just perfect!!!! This is a true treat for any Black Christmas fan! The dots connected beautifully.. Congrats to Dave, Bruce and the entire team!!!!!!❄️
This has no right to be as good as it is for 60k, it looks like a million dollars is splashed across the screen! Well done Dave, Bruce and the rest of team. Greg truly outdid himself here! So glad I could be a part of the campaign, can’t wait for my Blu Ray to arrive!
I introduced the original film to my wife a while back, and it became one of her favourite horror movies. When we first watched It’s Me Billy 2 years ago, we not only loved it, but whenever we watch Black Christmas, we always watch this afterwards. It really is a fantastic piece of work that’s made with a lot of love.
Very well done 👍🏻 Dave Bruce and cast! I can’t believe the day is finally here So happy to be able to be a part of this! Being an associate producer on my first film like this it’s huge! Big BRAVO to you guys billy is finally back and you guys did it in the most brilliant way! Loved the entire movie begging to end! The chills and goosebumps this movie gave me it’s crazy! And one scene in this movie that I talk to my review about is one of my favorite horror movie scenes in a film haven’t felt this way for a long time knocked it out of the park guys you should be proud of your selfs!
Dave & Bruce really outdone themselves! Because I know you both appreciate CLASSIC movies, things done CORRECTLY, & know what CALCULATED risks to take, I didn’t have an ounce of doubt when It’s Me Billy first was introduced to us. I also didn’t know how much of an impact a 42 minute film can do to an audience. Very powerful!! Wonderful jobs gentlemen & hat tilts+round of applause to the rest of the cast & crew for their miraculous work 👍🏽
Cody Leach brought me here and I have no regrets! Wow, what an experience, thank you so much! The acting, camera work, cinematography, lighting in this movie. You guys should be very proud of yourselves!
I had to wait to watch this on the big screen and I’m glad that I did. There is a lot of talent on display in this Christmas gift of a fan film, come early. You should all be very proud of your hard work. I hope this gets the right quantity and quality of eyes on it that it rightfully deserves.
THIS is how you do a fan film. Far exceeded my expectations. Thanks for coming on the Death Curse Society show to promote it, and thank you so much for directing what is absolutely the best fan film I've ever seen. Props to your actors, crew, and production team. If there's any cosmic justice at all, you've got an amazing career ahead of you. Looking forward to whatever comes next.
Wow! I am only half way through this and had to pause it to say how blown away I am. This does not feel like a fan film in any way! This is a legit excellent horror film! The acting, the cinematography, the sound design and atmosphere....perfection! Well done to all of those involved, this is better than 90% of horror films that make it to theatre. Take notice Hollywood, this is how you do horror right!
Congratulations to everyone who was involved in and contributed to this film! This is a great fan film! It’s not perfect; very few films are. But I’d easily give it an 8 out of 10!!!
Dave “Fucking” Hitchcock.....masterpiece on all counts......and Bruce, the “Silent Assassin”. Dale.. and we had not one, but 3 Scream Queens and a group of “All Pros” for your crew. But I have to tell you all that the greatest accomplishment of all of yours was not giving up and doing the impossible during this pandemic. You inspired my youngest daughter who’s is in live entertainment to stick with it and not give up on her dream, so both as a fan and as a Dad, thank you for not giving up.
The acting is superb, the production is extremely professional and it's technically perfect! Awesome job, my sincere admiration and respect for such a terrific accomplishment! Congrats to all involved.
It’s finally here!!!! All hard work and determination pays off! I’m super proud of Dave, Bruce and the entire production for bringing us a superb fan film. All the best!
Dave, Bruce, the actresses and everybody involved in this film deserves a round of applause. I'm at a loss for words. I have nothing negative to say about this at all. Thank you for making this.
This was incredible and far exceeded any expectations I had!! Can we all agree that this film is officially cannon?! Also, hats off to the actresses who gave such believable and effective performances especially the lead who absolutely sold her character and the emotional strife she was going through. I was blown away. We need more!!!
Dave, Bruce, Malaika, Victoria, Shelby, Production!! WELL DONE!!! 3:22 gave me CHILLS! Because I had just watched black Christmas last night and seeing that over shot of the mansion; the events of the first movie played in my head as the music started building... amazing!
What an incredible job by you all! This NEEDS to be on the big screen. The thrill, suspense, everything is there and a fantastic job by all 3 ladies! congrats to you and all and everybody who was apart of bringing Billy Back!
This whole thing is a masterpiece, and is truly a worthy sequel to tge OG Black Christmas, one of my alltime favorite horror movies, by the way!!! And Billy's first phone call in this is brilliant!! When I heard the line "Why did you let her go Billy? Why did you let her go?!" I thought it was like in the original, with more of his backstory hinted at, and it was referring to Agnes. But upon rewatching it, and seeing Agnes involved at the end, I realized the line "Why did you let her go" was Agnes talkibg to Billy about Jess!!
@marvelman600 Thanks for the kind words, we really appreciate it. And yes, you're bang on! Chapter 2 (which will conclude the story) drops online on October 11th. Trailer drops August 13th. Teaser is already on the channel.
This was well put together! The production value is tremendously high and I appreciate it!! People may not like this film but they can't deny that this was a true sight in production.. Great performances by the Cast and Big ups To you Dave and Bruce And the rest of the Staff! This was and forever will be phenomenal!!
THE GLASS UNICORN PIN!!!! Such a nice touch. Huge fan of the original film. I consider it a Holy thing. And this fan film was a superb FITTING and perfect sequel. Bravo. LOVED the score as well!
Congrats to Dave, Bruce and the whole cast & crew for an overwhelming achievement. Creating a sequel nearly 50 years later is never an easy task, and you pulled it off seamlessly. Stay tuned next week for our full review.
Ok so I finally got around to watching Black Christmas (1974) and now It's me Billy and all I can say is WOW!!!!😲 Color me extremely impressed! The cinematography, the acting, the story, everything is chef's kiss. I really hope we get a sequel, I know they're working on it. Extremely high quality for a fan film. I'd love to work on short films like this someday. Keep up the great work Dave and crew and everyone else involved in making this film.
The actresses were phenomenal and was blown away by the believability of their performances through and through. They're going places man, I tell ya. The script was mostly EXCELLENT and same goes for the cinematography and sound design. I craved a bit more style with camera angles for establishing shots of the interior (given how beautiful the house was), but it's easy to look past some of the few paint-by-numbers approaches, as they are almost always followed up by something spectacular. The shining moments of this film are not few and far in between; some having even sent chills down my spine, which is more than anyone could ever ask for a fan-film. Congrats, Dave and team... and thanks for a FANTASTIC take on an authentic Black Christmas follow-up. This truly sets the bar for fan-films, and I look forward to viewing this every year after the '74 original as my definitive sequel!
This was fantastic. Very proud to have played a small part in making it happen. It was shot extremely well, and I have to say the cast was very good. Victoria in particular had one scene in the attic where I thought you could really feel the emotion of what she was going through. Very well done on her part. Great job to everyone involved. You should all be very proud.
Black Christmas is one of my very favourite horror films, and this certainly didn’t disappoint. Fantastic acting and story, well done to all involved! Bring on part 2!!!!!
Now this is the best ‘Fan Film’ I have ever seen and I really mean that! This is the real sequel we deserve for such a masterpiece of a movie. Brilliant work, I was hooked the moment it began. The acting, camera work, the characters and the script was a masterpiece!
Kudos to Dave, Bruce, the cast and the crew! Not only have you managed to provide us with a movie respectful of the OG, but you've also been able to make it 100% your own. I loved the final twist! Some shots even reminded me of Suspiria. Next time, please go for a feature length film - you're perfectly able to handle that. Congrats again.
First of all, great job to you Dave and Bruce. I really enjoyed your fan film. The atmosphere, characters, cinematography, and story were well done. Kudos to the entire production team and actors who participated in the film to bring it to life.
This genre of film is not normally my cup of tea but glad I checked it out: understated but suspenseful and very profesh. Am now compelled to go back and watch the original Black Christmas. Kudos to all involved!
Dude you killed it man.... very well done. The ending though..... that had me like dude!! What!! Freaking awesome. Congratulations and hope that Hollywood takes notice.
I watched this with my little sister last night and we both loved it! She was genuinely scared and covered her eyes a couple of times! The movie is fantastic! You guys did a GREAT job! This is only the beginning! Congratulations!
Oh my goodness, Congrats! I will be recommending this. Phenomenal acting. Superb visuals. Great sound. And lastly, Dave and Bruce, you guys nailed it on the directing and story! Hats off to the crew, and everyone else involved. I am proud to say I supported this project. Thank you!
After watching “Black Christmas”, I found it deeply disturbing. But after watching this, I’m literally freaked out by how unsettling this film is. I can tell you are fans of the original and you really worked hard to make this fan film a worthy canonical sequel to the original film. Well done!
Really enjoyed that! Professional quality and really well done. It was great, what you managed to do with 42 minutes. Can't wait to see what you do with 90 minutes!! 😉👍
If I had anything negative to say about this, it would be that I wish it was longer, because damn, I want more! Fantastic production, cinematography, and acting. The girls were believable characters. Billy was just as unsettling and grotesque as he was in 1974. The direction of the story was compelling, and the ending left me wanting so much more. I had never seen the original Black Christmas until Dave announced he was doing a fan film. Of course I gave it a shot and fell in love with it, and now we have an amazing sequel to a fantastic horror movie. Well done, Bruce, Dave and crew!
Fantastic job guys, from start to finish. It's Me, Billy had my complete attention, I was glued to the screen. The cinematography was simply beautiful, this could definitely pass off as an official movie production. The women in this film were such great actress and very talented. There were a lot of shots I liked but one of the many I enjoyed was at the 27:42-27:50 mark. That whole seen turned out awesome. You've for sure set your fan film up for a sequel at the end! Thank you, Dave and everyone who worked on It's Me, Billy.

I checked out this film after watching your review of it, Cody. I’m glad I did. Thank you for bringing me here.

How can a "Fan Film" be this fucking good when NO big studio was able to catch the awesomeness of the original? Well done!
This looks NOTHING like a fan film. This looks like a big studio release. This is UNREAL.
@Nightmeow on Elm Street it’s only 42 minutes man you only have so much time

No way this is a fan film. The acting, editing, lighting, camera work screams big production!!! BRAVO to all the cast & crew 👏👏👏
This no fan film, this is the true sequel. It actually makes me like the original more.
@Markus Greenus what's your point? What I am saying is that this fan film has made me like the original more than did.
😂
All I can say is WOW. The horror industry NEEDS artists like Dave and Bruce who understand and respect the genre. This was deliciously terrifying. The girls were all so loveable. I laughed, I cried...what a ride!
Hell yeah! That's what I'm talking about. We should start a petition to get Dave and Bruce a movie deal with Blumhouse production.

Thank you Dave and the whole cast and crew. This was amazing, I will definitely be having this as a double feature from now on
I want to see Black Christmas at a Drive-Inn then have this shown afterwards.
After watching “Black Christmas”, I found it deeply disturbing. But after watching this, I’m literally freaked out by how unsettling this film is. I can tell you are fans of the original and you really worked hard to make this fan film a worthy canonical sequel to the original film. Well done!
As Soon as the lady said my name is Agnus
Who else said "Awwww Fuuuuuuck" lol
I knew as soon as Sam got in the car that there was going to be trouble...reminded me of Texas Chainsaw.
Wow just wow, what a great movie. Actors and script are amazing. Well done to all, really enjoyed it. Thank you
Really enjoyed that!
Wife and I are going to watch it after we make dinner. Looking forward to it.
