This is splendid. I feel that the man died and this is his afterlife...forever looking for a way out but never finding any. The dark room represents the darkness that awaits him for he had chosen material wealth over faith. Truly amazing. Amazing message.
So as muslims, we believe that there are good demons and bad demons just like us humans. The sheikh here was probably a pious man at one point but got greedy and used God's word for material wealth. He tricks people into believing that their loved ones are possessed and need exorcism for what he charges money. Now he's being tested by the good demons or perhaps being tortured in afterlife. Because he's trapped in a maize and returns to the same place where he started even when he tries to escape, like a limbo. At the end when he tries to leave the house, he can see nothing but darkness signifying( or so I believe) that he has nothing ahead of him but darkess.

This is a Master piece!!!! best short film I've seen lately, I'm not a Muslim, but I the concept of the inner good and evil embedded into each one of us is universal. Movie wise this is a great piece, it threatens with the concept of primal fears, guilt, shame, self repentant, lost of faith and the movie builds slowly on this concepts till the point that you know it is not going to end up well.
I congratulate the director Hana Kazem for this beautiful directing. I congratulate the actor Mansour Al-Faili and the work team for the creativity. Honestly, the film is beautiful and exciting And I did not expect that Ultra Company would be doing Arab work and from the UAE. I wish many business of this quality in the coming near future with exciting stories. Thank you everyone.
Brilliant! Really good everything, twists a plenty and shows excellent homage to horror not needing CGI, camp, splatter, or even common tongue. Thanks for showcasing that what horrifies is universal. Props to everyone involved for this most provoking true horror piece.
I have seen it in real life twice in my entire life! The 2nd time was a funeral farewell for a niece in the mosque, I was asked if I wanted to help wash the body, but I refused, but after it was ready, it was brought back to the hall for visitors when my turn came, she turned in the coffin literally her face on the other side. I said out loud, did you see that too, so many people were there and no one else saw it happen but me. Because a few days before her death she really wanted to meet me, but I was not in affection then. Very Strange but very True!
Love the Middle Eastern horror shorts! Its exciting to watch the lore, religious beliefs, and stories that have been handed down over centuries or even just days ago! Such a colorful and diverse area to pick and choose from.
Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried? Surah Al-'Ankabut. He was a fake from the start. Because he did not recited any of the verses from the Kitab that are used for Ruqyah Shariah.. Another top notch scary short ALTER. Keep it up..

This speaks so much truth! We are but a small door in a big darkness unless we stop playing with God and His Name. I have been there . We humans are a very small part unless we wake up... This is not about religion, this is about the truth. I am not a Muslim, but God is God. We sometimes forget what life is about. We will all die and then face our creator. Many people say there is no such thing, but even though I understand science and mostly because of it I must know that we are only in a small part of reality. The light goes on. Make right here in this little bit that we now know and you will not stand in a dark universe to be judged. Feeling very small... in a doorway...
I’m a Pagan, so I believe in multiple gods, though none necessarily had a hand in creating us. Rather, they guide us. This remains true for any god you may believe in, regardless of your beliefs of creation. I’m of the belief that we are all one collective soul separated into billions of pieces; all connected, all shaped by each other’s experiences. Every single being is intertwined, and I believe that bond we all intrinsically share, recycled into each new life, is far more powerful than we realize. Remember, you are connected to every single being surrounding you, and your decisions (both good and bad) matter beyond your individual self. You are the people around you, and they are you. Selfishness is the death of the soul, so be kind to others and care for them with the same passion you care for yourself. Our faiths and beliefs should not separate us - your faith is my faith, and my faith is yours.
As a non-Muslim American, I would love to see even more Muslim-centered horror, I loved this and Under the Shadows, especially something dealing in exorcisms, with the market mostly being Catholic exorcism movies.

Best thing that explains about good and evil , loved it !! The true believer never charge for helping others.. you showed the real makr with maqafaat.. well done.
What is the title of the movie
I needed to pause during this gem to share my opinion ! What an intense, well written, well played and full of suspense short film ! Seeing a Muslim based horror/thriller story is so interesting and refreshing ! It's a nice variation from Western horror movies.
I thoroughly enjoy it !

i was stunned when i hear the devil/djinn can quote qur'an verses too,
nice and good short horror movie 👍🏼
can't wait for another kind of movie like this
Djinn aren’t always equal to the devil. There are believing (Muslim) djinn too
@@tabassumkhan8693Yeah, just because the shaitan was a jinn, doesn't mean all jinns were evil. Some jinns are evil, just as some humans are evil

Mashallah this was very well made. Muslims needs more cinema representation especially in genres people wouldn't expect them to blend so well in
The scene when khalid said "losing faith in god & decided to get rich of his word" it's really happen to my country. We have "ustad" but he do the same as this movie

The part that scared me the most was when he started to exit and saw only darkness. Now my question is, what would happen if he exited the place and entered the darkness?
3:07 At first it looked like nobody was even in the bed. I thought he had a imaginary wife haha. Good movie 👍
The scariest thing is that he's cutting onions on the same spot he just cut raw chicken. Talk about contamination! Lol. No seriously... this was really good!
And they will both be cooked together...so your point is?

I’m an American born Muslim and this was really well done. It was a bit confusing to me but overall I loved it 🙂. I keep my faith stronger now.
Very creative really ... no spooky face, no sudden sound I was expecting, nothing !! Nice work, still dark.
I loved this one!!! It was so well done. It was great to see a story that is مسلم rather than the Christian we are so used to seeing. Fantastic!!
شكرا جزيلا
لا مشكلة ☺️
WOW i was amazed by this wonderful psychedelic work of art!! The director is so creative and everyone who was a part of this film did a great job.
This is the first time I have seen Muslims in a horror movie. Really, thank you for giving Muslims a spotlight.
Try watching munafik
That was not a demon
It was djinn a good one teaching him a lesson not play with others faith in God
And the last scene when that man opens the door and all he sees is black void that is the shadow world of evil demon, evil djinns and those who died untimely death
And rest is upto us to decide what will happen next
@De caprio no there a different class of djinn who has accepted Islam and they are good
Normally they don't interfere in human business
@De caprio it is written in Quraan
this is bad demons are demons religion has really change God words demons are demons.
@De capriosurah al jinn 72
@De caprio dude that's what I'm saying the whole time they are not demons
I’ve been searching Indonesian horror, and there is SO much good stuff out there !! And I LIKE that I’m finding lots of 20 minute films. I’m not used to that being a standard movie length.
Although I'm neither Muslim nor religious, there's a verse in Quran which is kinda cool by itself.
مکرو و مکرالله، والله خیر الماکرین.
MAKR means deception
thank you for being honest
There's nothing scary in it but the fear factor is there. Awesome~
This is absolutely stunning. Great writing, great acting, great camera work. And a great ending!

We have alot of original horror stories in our culture so it would be great seeing that stories as short films here on the channel.

At first I thought they are misrepresenting our islam with that bearded man who cheats but the whole video changed my thought 180 degree. Thanks
Brilliant! Really good everything, twists a plenty and shows excellent homage to horror not needing CGI, camp, splatter, or even common tongue. Thanks for showcasing that what horrifies is universal. Props to everyone involved for this most provoking true horror piece.
thatunconsciousguy thank you very much 🙏🏼 glad you liked it ☺️
Arab movie makers are on a different lvl. Ive never seen a horror movie about Ruqyah or islam in general with so much creative and productive value.
What a great film, good acting. I really liked it. Thanks for posting!

Definitely the first thing muslims realize. But he could still be a fraud even if he recited all the verses without faith. Only this short will be a religious movie instead of horror lol

So I'm pretty sure he is in hell. The door opening was to indicate it was endless darkness because there was no way out.
Man, that was really good. Love how it's not clear just who is posessed when. Super spooky for sure.
God exist or not but we should do good with all living beings
Aye bruh. It's just a movie on UA-cam lol.
This is really chilling, especially this involves faith.
All these years later and this is still the best short film I have watched
A believable story. Well made and excellent acting.
Lots of love from India ❤️❤️❤️
As a non-Muslim American, I would love to see even more Muslim-centered horror, I loved this and Under the Shadows, especially something dealing in exorcisms, with the market mostly being Catholic exorcism movies.
