Cool idea, but in the future you might get a better result by shooting the plate in overcast weather, because the harsh shadows you get from a sunny day like that are very difficult to match into a foggy, moody scene where the light would be getting diffused all over.

A LOG to Linear conversion would help with the roto and then you just use your roto as a mask for the effects. This kind of work is way easier with nodes.

I would suggest next time using the FINAL shot, the one you have been editing - because then the payoff at the end of the video will be more worth it to the audience!

Cool tutorial, although i would recommend next tine use NULL fot the camera so its easy to navigate and in the ELEMENT effect create a NULL for the model also easy to move around
