Hey guys. As engines get smaller, do you think we will see more 2 cylinder cars these days? :)
Probably not
Electric or hydrogen motors will probably take over
No Wayyy less powerful for most people
Well that would kinda suck ! For the Morgan it is fine because it is meant to be!
Viral Vehicles won’t be surprised if we see a half cylinder in the future 😂
What's next, turbocharged 1 cylinder lawnmower engines in cars?
you forgot about my mums Honda Civic, *it runs on 2 cylinders* 😂😂
lol
wut
Classic
You forgot about the 2silinder air cooled 25hp Trabant 601, it's very well known.
it has 26hp and i have one too as a semi daily driver
it has 23hp or 26 hp i have one
I thought the same
Forgetting to mention the trabie? How did they even manage that its a iconic car! If Any eastern European car was famous without a doubt its the trabie!
@@michaeldesroches6671 It's called Trabi
You forgot the Polski Fiat 126p. Just 650cc of engine displacement
Fsm Nikki?
yes
The fsm Nikki is so cool
Yes
I saw the 3 wheeler Morgan and I screamed with happynes so loud the niebers told me to be quite lol
Suzuki Celerio:
Proceeds to show Suzuki alto
Imbeciliac Gamer and its not an “Indian market exclusive” either there’s loads of them in Europe
@@pb7870 The Diesel engine isn't available in Europe however and that's what he meant.
either the Celerio ot the Alto are 2 cyliders in Europe
Lol that not an alto or a celerio

Great idea what about a 0.0.5 liter engine
1:29 Nice
1:53 that's not a 2cv that's a dyane they use the same engine but are totally different cars
We had a Fiat 500 Twin Air 105 for four years and we loved it. The turbo gave it a decent amount of go and it sounded good too. A 0-60 time of 10 seconds may not sound that good, but it's a small car and it feels very quick. A bit coarse sometimes, but vey quiet and smooth when cruising. And it could deliver 63 mpg on a m'way run. We had great fun in this car and it was trouble-free until a kind young lady drove into us head on while we were waiting at a junction. Car written off. Thanks....
you forgot the Trabant 601 !!!
The good ol' smoking Trabi
I love the Fiat TwinAir engine, it sounds absolutely lovely. I'd rather have the TwinAir engine than the 4 cylinder 500, it's way more fun
Even if Takumi drove a 2 cylinder...We would still see Keisuke saying Kansei Dorifto
If he drove our HM Ambassador, still Keisuke would have said KANSEI DORIFTO!
By the way It is a 4 cylinder car, producing less power than most of this 2 cylinder engines and it's used still today.
Takumi would drive a fricking rolling chassis downhill and keisuki would be shook
wait... keisuke drove a 2 "cylinder" car
only that its 2 rotors and not traditional cylinders
Man i love your videos
Make a vid on the top 5 cheapest supercars, oh, and where is the original Fiat Cinquecento with the Boxer 2 engine?
Cinquecento have inline 2 not boxer
Ok will do lol
@@stasiulc k
1:53 that car is a citroen dyane 6 ,not a 2cv
My 1965 NSU Prinz had two cylinders. 550cc of pure joy/pain....
5:01 this celerio is the a-star in india
Love the 2CV although of course the DS is my favourite.
The new Fiesta ST got a 3 cyl. engine, but with constant speed, it will shut down one cyl. So you can drive it with only 2 cyl at certain times.
good video,keep it up
Nice vid bro
There is a very long list of early Japanese Kei cars that had a 2 cylinder engine.
2cv started with 2 horsepower then went to 29. Other cars with that engine are the dyane (as shown in video), Ami 6, Ami 8, Bijou. Very nice runner though!
No no no my freind im part of the world 2cv organisation and 2cvgb so if you say im wrong then you can just leave but 2cv means 2 steamed horses not horsepower
Finally a video early bird gets the worm got here early great video as always
Nice
You forgot the Trabant 601 which had a 26 horsepower 2 cylinder engine
It even has fabric body panels! What more could you need?
I never expected to be roasted at the verys last line of context
Went through the comments and didn’t see the Honda 600 coupe and sedan, I had a couple of these years ago, I miss getting 60 miles to the gallon, it was also very fun to drive
The BMW i3 REX has a 2 cylinder engine
Wow. 2 cyls are very rare engines. Not easy to find!
I was talking about about models, where there are not many 2 cylinder cars. But yes there are many 500s on the road.
Like there is the 500, Mito, 3 wheeler, 2CV, etc. but if each of those were counted as 1 car.
Love the vid but u forgot Trabant 601
You missed the Trabant.
But great video aus always. 👍🏻
Id like to see a small russian sports car with around 150 HP that weighs like 600 kg. Two cylinder turbo of course
If I had a chance to get a Citroen 2CV, I’d pull out the underpowered factory engine and drop in a high output inline four motorcycle engine putting down 200 horsepower in addition to a RWD conversion!
Yesss
Some corrections: the fiat 500’s shown are actually abarth 595’s which have inline fours. The fiat panda and punto use the twinair engine as well. The suzuki celerio is actually sold in europe and half of the pictures are actually of the suzuki alto.
Of course there are a lot of cars that use(d) 2 pots, like the trabant, a bunch of daf’s, the toyota s800 (a tiny 2000gt), the bmw i3 and the volkswagen xl1
2 cylinders is what my friends Honda Civic feels like after driving my 350z lol. Also you guys (Viral Vehicles) noticed someone kinda stole your channels name? They are called "Vehicle Virals" lol
Oh ya
Viral Vehicles were dead for about 7 month, so Vehicle Virals made some videos in the same style.
Vehicle Virals is now making BMW 335i videos and BMW related content.
Yep basically. It says it was started in 2018. I started in 2016 😒
both great channels tbh
The Celerio diesel was discontinued in India some time ago. Also the some of the pics weren't of the Celerio but of the Maruti Suzuki A-Star
BMW I3 which has a 2cyl engine that acts as the generator for the electric drivetrain. The original Fiat 500, the Subaru 360. The Toyota 800 roadster.
I actually went on a ride in a citron 2cv today
How about the Ligier Ambra, an economy car from France with flat twin engine?
The 700cc Suzuki Celerio is available in south America specialty in Bolivia it’s common to see these cars. But there are with the mane of Suzuki Alto
That First two cars so cute
You didn't mention the DAF 600 manufactured from 59 to67, it had a 2 cylinder boxer engine, and the first Variomatic transmission.
I am thinking of getting a MiTo for my first car in a years time. It’s cheap, good looking and it’s an Alfa
I have the Fiat 500 with the same engine and it's music to the ears! Always brings a smile to drive it.
you didnt mention the trabant 601, it has a 2 stroke 2 cylinder engine
You forgot Trabant 601 and some VW car with Ducati engine
Vw is called Volkswagen xl i think
What about the BMW i3? That car has an optional 38 hp straight-twin range extender engine
The first SAAB, 92 with 2 cylinder two stroke
Most noticable is missing from the list; VW XL1. I know productions numbers are low but its 2 cyl diesel ;)
my car has 575cc cylinders, it is a 4 banger and after some slight tuning does it put out 230 horses at the rear wheels.
some people might know what car this engine is in when saying the engine name, b230 ft.
The 3 wheeler ain't no 3 wheeler without pretend bullet holes and scantily-clad ladies adorning your car
My Vauxhall corsa seems like it has got 2 cylinders sometimes, especially when it’s presented with a hill.
The apex seals on RX-8 after 30.000km: Ill die now
About the 3-Wheeler, I still don't understand why they don't put the engine in the bay just behind it. I mean, there is a great deal of room in there, it could easily host an engine in its own right!
As it is now, the 3-Wheeler looks extremely cool but when a crash occurs, you end up destroying the engine because there's no front crumple zone and no front crash beam!
my aixam roadline (quadrocycle) has a 400ccm 2 cylinder diesel engine with 5.4 horsepower
Diesel Celerio?
Wow, you really did your homework on this.
Imagine a 5 liter 2 cylinder with twin turbos. BRO.
Its imposible the vibration enormous
BMW 600 (Isetta limousine), BMW 700, Panhard Dyna/PL 17, Subaru 360, Mazda R 360, Honda N 360/N 600, Goggomobil, NSU Prinz, Lloyd, Daf 600, DKW F89, Fiat 126, Autobianchi Bianchina 500, Saab 92, Trabant, Citroën Visa...
Another French example was the Panhard 24.
You definitely forgot the Trabant 601.
And there's a little car with a 2 Cylinder Diesel engine, the Aixam City, which is still in production.
Dude, each rotor in a Wankel motor is equivalent to 3 cylinders on a piston engine. They're not comparable.
is Citroen 2CV sahara counted as 2 cylinder or 4 cylinder? Because it has 2 2 cylinder engines, one in front and one in rear.
Next video: trends on pickups (example: decline of single cab/extended cab)
Panhard made a 2 cylinder circa 800cc late 50s early 60s in 4 door sedan and a hot 2 door coupe
All Panhard After War II cars had a flat twin starting with Dyna X, followed by Junior, Dyna Z, PL 17 and 24. They started with 600ccm and 28 HP and ended with 850ccm and 60 HP. Some special models had a compressor, others got until 1100ccm and 90 HP. Also the very first production car in the World was a Panhard. This car had a 2 cylinder Motor licensed from Daimler!
2cv -> proceed to show a dyane 🤦
There are probably motorcycles with more displacement than some of those cars
Largest displacement bike is the Triumph Rocket 2500cc muscle bike. It's safe to say there are loads of bikes with more displacement than these, they aren't even rare.
Lada Oka, you forgot.
Morgan 3 wheelers have 2 cylinders? I didn't know that.
I guess you're joking
Celerio diesel model was with 2 cylinder engine
The first photo of celerio is known as astar in India
Doesn’t the BMW i3 Range Extender have a 2 cylinder engine?
You also forgot about fiats 126 that had 650cc air cooled engine that produced between 20-26hp
3:52 Did you just say 1000cc 2.0 liter!!?
Pretty common for Harley Davidson and other roadster motorcycles
@@abhimanyumhatre8619 I mean, 2.0 liter means 2000cc, so 1000cc should be 1.0 liter. That's the mistake
1000cc per cylinder??
@@pkro2428 Yep. 2 cylinders of 1000cc capacity equals 2 litres. Do the maths guys!
The rx8 had many engine recalls though
Love from india
You forgot about the Saab 92
Until last year, the BMW I3 range extender, 650cc twin.
We get the celario in the uk. Horrible little things
Subaru 360 cars and vans!
Indian market exclusive but on the photos it has Chilean and south Australian plates?? Need explanation
Practically all Mazda cars with rotary engine are 2-cylinder cars.
*rx-7*
My brother-in-law had a 71 2 cly Honda
Does Honda still make one
The Honda 600, which was powered by a 600CC air cooled motorcycle engine, was sold during the 1971 and 1972 model years. It was Honda's first car sold in the US. The 600 was replaced by the first generation Civic in 1973. Honda, I believe, still sells 2-cylinder "Kei Cars" for the Japanese domestic market.
How about daihatsu copen? 2cyl 600cc
I live near the Morgan factory
You forgot the Trabant 601
My mate used to have a Mito TwinAir. It was a fun little car, and sounded pretty good - sorta like a throaty bike!
I think Fiat got their decimal point in the wrong place though, as it probably got more like 6.9mpg... That tiny engine has to work hard absolutely all the time, so it was never ever going to be an economy champ!
We routinely got 63 mpg on the run to our holiday cottage. around town it did about 35.
Produa kancil.... Should in the list..
"and the new bmw 1 series"
me: looks at m135i parked in my drive
500/Panda/XL1/Trabant/126p?
In the 50s, Bmw used motorcycle 2 cylinders boxers in cars, like the Bmw 700
my mum's old VW felt like a 2 cylinder
No honourable mention to the Ami and Visa while discussing the 2CV?
Honda 600 had a motorcycle air cooled engine.
My dad's alfa romeo speeding on 1 cylinder
Alfa romeo 156 ts
Missed the volkswagen xl1
Polski Fiat 126p / Maluch. Those were produced between 1976 and 2000, making it polish VW Beatle or Fiat 500 - just car for everyone
Nah bro the celerio Is soldi also in italy
Well the tata indica and quite literally half the Indian car menu
Yeah
