Pro tip I learned in EMT school and while also working in EMS as a first responder/in a 911 system. If you could talk/scream in full-length sentences, you are NOT struggling to breathe. For someone who is indeed struggling to breathe, they wouldn't be able to yell "I can't breathe!" But the fact they are able to do so, and in a clear non-obstructive manner (judging by their voice coming from their vocal cords), says that they are actually breathing just fine. And if anything, if they can't breathe, it has more to do with them simply being out of shape, long time smoker, or just hyperventilating/having an anxiety attack; but if you put a pulse ox (SPO2) on them, you'll find that they are still receiving sufficient oxygen into their bodies. Bottom line, there was that one dude, before George Floyd, that ended up dying while being in a choke hold by a LEO, and ever since then, the whole "I can't breathe!" has seemed to have taken a trend of its own, with practically everyone yelling that the moment they are placed in handcuffs or placed lying on the ground, with no evidence or other proof backing them up on their inability to breathe. Which, from anyone who has read the story of the boy who called wolf, how do you think things are going to roll out on a call when everyone states that "they can't breathe" while speaking in full-length sentences as they're actively physically fighting and resisting arrest by a Peace Officer.
Absolutely. I’ll protect and defend my kids in many situations but all she is doing is creating a little monster delinquent that the rest of their community has to endure. You don’t raise good human beings by modeling bullshit behavior like this.

I'm 78, retired, and and hardly a day goes by that I don't thank my mom and dad for teaching me to keep my mouth shut, control my thoughts and emotions and maintain my composure before deciding what to do. My most memorable teaching moment was learning how to sit still and be quiet in church. There were consequences for infractions, the worst of which was DISRESPECT. They had a ZERO tolerance program, and punishment included the occasional spanking. Funny--I didn't hate them then or now for that. Their teaching saved me a lot of heartache and allowed me to have a successful life--good job, home, marriage and spectacular kids who got the same teaching and consequences I had.
@@sagrammyfour I'm 22 and I'm literally disgusted of my generation. The behaviour is now just incredibly horrible. I don't think 'enabler' is really the right word when you're a major driving force in the chaos.
If an officer told my mom I got pulled over for speeding and having weed, she’d prolly go to jail too for giving me a whoopin while being detained.
That was great. And ... your mother has obviously raised you well!
