How to Back Up Your Prong Collar with a Slip Tab Leash

A prong collar can accidentally open up. It's rare but it can happen. We recommended to always back-up a prong collar for safety. Here is one way to back-up a prong using a tab slip collar. We use Mendota brand for the tab collars.

A safety tie to a flat collar is far easier and just as effective.

​@@kirkbrooks9447 what this woman here's doing, is in my country forbidden, fortunately. Its called :animal abuse. Endless choking slip leads and prongcollars are banned. In all countries in Central Europe is a proper Animal Welfare Law. Don't know, why Americans live in stoneage of dogtraining.

How is it cruel to use a prong collar? They don't actually pinch or stab the dog. All they do is distribute the pressure equally.
