@@StromerUA-cam Yes, he is doing fine, but, it's something like "I need new followers" VS "I share special, private moments". Both are ok, I just like most the second one... Hahaha!!
The DOHC Model has probably the least amount of "problem zones" from the K25 series. If used 2up mostly from the pre-owner, check the suspension(If ESA -> test all modes incl. the preload settings). ESA is the way to go, in my opinion. Another thing to check is the rear wheel. If there's to much play, maybe the rear wheel bearing has to be changed. And keep an eye on the shaft drive.(There shouldn't be oil sprinkles on the rear wheel or leaking seals....) Other than that the K25 DOHC is more or less problem free.
I didn’t. I actually found a 2020 R1250GS with only 312 miles on. Coming from a 2018 1200 I couldn’t resist. I still worry about the technology though. If I hadn’t had the 2018 I’d have gone for the simpler earlier GS.
@@brianrundle9219 why'd you want to go from 2018 to 2011? I have a 2011 with 45tkm, i ll probably use it another 5-7 years. Several more problems than any of my previous Japanese bikes. Both dampers were shot = 1200€ for overhaul including fork service. Fuel pump, can fix it myself, an overhaul because new is 560€. It ll cost me 120, 160 if a few plastic clamps decide to fail. Rear subframe rust, temp fix for ~35€. That ll go up to 200€ excl labor to get it powdercoated. If it stays okay I ll leave the subframe until the clutch needs replacement. I enjoy the motorcycle, regular maintenance is easy. However, the clutch job is an expensive endeavorz albeit probably only once in its lifetime neccesary.
Listening the pure boxer sound makes you smile 😉

Suena maravilloso, felicidades por la moto!
Gracias!

Great Video. What kind of Exhaust do you have? It Sounds Great.👍👍😁
Thanks! It's the stock exhaust!
Hello! Is this bike a big improvement over a 1150 gs or it's similar? Is it worth the upgrade in your opinion?
It is a big improvement! But it's not twice as good as the good old 1150...
" Schaaf ". He is good, but, you're more authentic...
Really? Thanks!

Hi, i want to buy a 2010-2012 model ( DOHC Air Cooled ) do i need to have any concern about reliability and buying a 40 K Km model ?

@@StromerUA-cam thanks a lot !!! I Really appreciate your help. I'm definately going for that model with ESA and check for those issues !
