Ja, die Gegend ist wirklich ein Traum, wenn man nicht grade im August dort rumkurvt(Hitze+Verkehr). Strafzettel ist bisher noch keiner gekommen. Wird wohl doch nix gewesen sein...

@Stromer, Hi mate, apart from all the Electronic Gizmos, pound for pound which bike is the better all rounder? the 990 Adventure you had or this 1190? reliability, handling, fuel range...

Handling and Suspension goes to the 990 in my opinion(less top heavy), but on the other stuff, like fuel range and reliability, the 1190 wins, by far. The only real issues that drove me away from the 1190 plattform was the fact that the thing get's nuclear hot, if driven constantly under ~70kph and that the R version is just waay to tall(I struggle with the PP seat of my 1190 T already). The 990 has more ground clearance with less seat height.

How tall are you? Is that mra x screen? What main screen is that? I just put mra vt screen on my 1190 and buffetting, bad wind. pocket of air is below my helmet at 70-80mph. Debating to spend more money and try x screen.

I'm 182cm (~6ft) tall and I use the standard 1190 windscreen with the mra x-creen sport. It does no wonders, but it's mostly buffeting free up to ~70mph under most conditions. When there's a crosswind or large cars/trucks in front, the buffeting is still there, but not as bad as without the spoiler.

Das Teil hat enorm viel gebracht. Selbst bei 140kmh+ kaum mehr Verwirbelungen. Hinter großen Fahrzeugen aber leider immer noch(SUVs, Transporter, etc...). Das Einstellen hat ein paar KM gebraucht, aber für das Geld unschlagbar.
