pro tip if you have the ability to build the duplication machine .. put the modded special book on there .. every time dogmeat picks it up u get the point .. put the used book in a box and take the duplicated one to duplicate again 😁👌🏽
Don’t know what I’m doing wrong 😢did what you said on my ps4 pro after successfully modding it and did the workshop: scrap-select-store, but keeps misbehaving
Ensure you hold down store and you should have the scrap and store menu on the screen at the same time then accept the scrap and store straight after if both menus dont show then retry dont store or scrap without both menus on screen at same time
Do you have enough materials for the weapon mod before you scrap? Need to make sure you do or the mod will be blank also decorative mods such as paints dont work
I did the hack 3 times and it stops working (got +3 into endurance) ... i restarted the save file to see if i did something wrong in the order of operations .. same thing happened again.. only 3 uses of this hack before i just pick up " you're special " and nothing happened.. someone tell me where im going wrong Edit: After many retries and weird trial and error I found that it's extremely important to follow the OPs advice. It does intact work on PC.. just did it today 05/13/24
Did you do it in the following order? 1.drop book 2.scrap-store book(make sure you see both prompts as seen in the vid) 3.grab book from workshop storage 4.drop the book and pick it back up again
@jahscnviv yee.... I got it to work In Sequence about 3 times Ina row.. on the 4th.. nothing happens. This has been repeated now e different times. Seems to cap me out at 3

Most definitely faster however most of the machine building absolutely baffles me XD
im lazy i just slap in a mod to do it if imma do it
The scrap-store method can also be used to create infinite resources like nuclear material/gold/etc for people who don’t know

Has this been patched on PC? I am at the mod you're special book, but mods are blank, so only option is to back out
