- Enjoy this finely curated mix of danish folk tunes by the amazing Jensen & Bugge!
The first tune is "Jydsk på Næsen efter Viggo Post i Thy", (på næsen is a pun on the name of an old 17th century dance, Polonaise, and means "on the nose") The second is "Tre pærevalse efter Mads Nielsens nodebog fra Tiufkær Mark ved Vejle" (Three "pearwaltzes" from the collection of Mads Nielsen).
Mette Kathrine Jensen Stærk - Accordion
Kristian Bugge - Violin

Dejligt at høre nogen ikke helt har glemt vores fortidens folke musik. Gid dette må komme tilbage igen så vi ikke glemmer det helt.
Hi, greetings from Klaten, Indonesia. I really like this music. Keep doing good!

What an absolutely gorgeous first tune Kristen! It's lifted my spirits after a not-so-good day.

Mange Takk!)
I love how melodic both songs are!
Lovely music and great playing! I am the leader of the UK Sheffield Traditional Fiddlers Society and would very much like some Danish Music for my friends to play, where can I find the printed Danish Folk music scores to buy on the internet? Thanks, Robin the Fiddler.

I saw the serie 1864 and in the second episode there was a barn dance. Anybody knows the song they played in that scene?
Off-topic question, but what plaster and specific colors Danish and South Swedish buildings are made of.. I’ve noticed a certain and unique pattern in the facades of various historic buildings, wich don’t seem to appear anywhere else. Can anyone enlighten me?
While I'm Danish, I do not have the deep knowledge to properly answer your question. But if you truly want to know, I think you could contact the Danish National Museum.. I think they would help you or at least tell you what book to read :)
