Hence my question, is it possible to achieve the same result using only the minimal amount of chemicals, for instance, you need a lot of de-NOx-ing product so perhaps it's possible to use less HNO3 to start with? Kind regards

That would have taken you about 3 months to process that much and 55 grams is worth about $3,000 dont give up your day job because there are easier ways to make money

Actually it took me 1 day to process from start to finish, but you are right about the day job, that's why this is only a hobby of mine.

No offence, but in my opinion is a fake. You simply cannot have 3.3% gold on those pins. In the past I had trust in what you said...

no offence taken, just because you haven't seen a crocodile it doesn't mean he won't eat you... Google РППМ 17-48, or even better ua-cam.com/video/VjJP9BYkvU4/v-deo.html

I already did a search. There is only one article about this connectors in terms of gold content and this is on thebridgestudio.ru and another 2 or 3 sites (the same article). They are giving indeed a huge percentage of gold for this kind of connectors - max. 2.5%. But not 3.4%. In this case how reliable is only one source for information, wich is not even official? After that, why shold I make a connector with such a thick layer of gold wich is a soft metal and after few hundred cycles I'll remove it by scratch? And there are some other more reasons. Even I didn't saw the crocodile, I can use the common sense. Anyway, I wish you good luck.
