You fellows need a fire pole to quickly descend from the top floor to the shop. Perhaps an outdoor porch/patio so you wouldn’t lose space. Might as well throw in a zip line from the house to storage building too!

That display cabinet looks fantastic. Some labels on those bottom drawers in era-appropriate font would both look okay and help keep track of where things are. Great to see all the progress in the new warehouse.

Saving the OLD FLAT HEAD'S.... I love it. Wish I NEVER SOLD my 39 2 Door Deluxe Sedan back in 1986, We were the 2nd Owners of it and it was Beautifu. Black with the "ORIGINAL INTERIOR" UNDER The 50's Seat Covers. Kick myself every time I think about it. Could have Hot Rodded the Flathead V8 with some stuff I see here. Nice Job Guy's. Wish I was younger and Lived Next door to Ya!!! 😎.

I've never seen a hand break this big. Also your student is learning from the best. He's going to make a excellent custom builder some day. Every one is saying that a youngster has to go to college. Me? I'm saying not necessary so. The trades still need really good workers. A plumber, a carpenter, or an electrician are still needed. I don't think that AI will ever replace any of them.

your starter is going over center on the bendix lever because there is a special washer that is missing, it snaps over the ring that is there, one off any GM / Delco-Remy automotive starter should work. If you have a local rebuilder they could supply one. When it goes too far sometimes the engine can't initiate the return and it does sit there and weld to the copper washer but that's collateral damage so to speak.

Your "week in the life of" videos are some of my favorites. They tie the regular videos together to see the progression of the work. I am a bit of a purist; 57 and 50 Cadillacs, a 63 Pontiac Lemans and a 1928 Whippet make up my collection, but your work has made me truly appreciate the hot rod culture. I watch every video, and I am amazed at the commitment of you and everyone associated with Iron Trap Garage!

Ah we know the feeling with your upstairs entry blocked. We are having to park in the next door neighbors (a vacant rental) driveway because they (city or county) are replacing our sidewalk and driveway. It's effecting 3 houses as we are part of a little cul-de-sac formed by 3 houses sharing a single driveway off the city street. Ya'll take care and enjoy the rest of the summer.

Keep an eye on your rack system, I've worked with them for many years, and they will fail under heavy load. They always seem to buckle within a couple feet up from the floor. It was not uncommon, just a heads up, for if you keep an eye on them, you can sometimes see signs of them starting to fail. I would recommend having a stash of extra frames on hand, so you don't have to scramble should one buckle. That said, your organization skills are right on track. Best of luck to you guys, and your channel is my favorite on the internet!

@IronTrapGarage I guess mostly so he knows you don't need all that stuff to get it done. I'm pretty sure you were like me when you started. With hammers an anvil and maybe that pipe stand to bend metal. You get good with the minimum tools then move on to using the brake and things and become even better. Maybe I feel that way because its how I had to do things first.
