Everytime I watch your reviews after hard work day, I feel like a guest at my old friend's house, who invited me to show some new gear. Absolutely relaxing and makes me forget about the stress I had during the day, thank you CMA!
I bought this specifically to bring to CanJam NY and boy was I blown away with it. Plugged pretty much every conceivable headphone into it, and it did great.
Great review 🍻 Love my IFI Go Blue 👍 Running Crin’s Midnight IEM’s in balanced mode …and it’s glorious. Truly surprising what Bluetooth can actually sound like when processed correctly. Great review as always 🍻
@@ConvinceMeAudio Not an issue, great show 👍 As you’ve said and I can attest to the Bluetooth capabilities on the IFI Go Blue are spectacular. Enjoy the weekend 🍻
I'm very curious now as to how this device sounds to my ears. I've just ordered it and I'm looking forward to using this with my Astell & Kern Pathfinders.
amazing device..the sound is absolute perfect for bluetooth origin, but i would like a little more stable range because after 3-4 meters signal is lost for seconds.maybe an update is on?
I would say Bluetooth range is okay on this device but very few Bluetooth devices can compare to the Apple H one range unfortunately, and environmental barriers will have a great impact on this I updated this device, but no change, but in my environment Bluetooth range is not too bad,
Thank you for your commitment and professionalism in bringing us your reviews and experiences with the latest technologies and products in this ever evolving field. I have been enjoying my 30 year old Sennheiser HD25's very happily until recently when I was looking at a review of modern headphones by DarkAudio where he casually mentioned the ifi go blu as if it was something we should all know about... I searched and this video popped up... you mentioned the LetShuoer S12's... another quick search and before long my music listening world has been rocked, jazzed, popped and thoroughly transformed!! Thank you 😁😁👍 The ifi go blu pairs beautifully with the S12's, Tidal and my phone (my primary music source) What and incredible combination, as you predicted. The eq functions of the ifi really bring put the best in these iem's, especially the x-bass. The x-space does a wonderful job with certain classical recordings and when combining the two and cranking the volume they can certainly get that live gig feel going on. A very happy music listener thanks to your suggestions. However, I too experienced the centre push button coming off, but I simply screwed it back on. Unfortunately it came off again and so on contacting ifi the requested I return it to them for repair which I did. They contacted me to say it had arrived safely and are wanting over £50 to repair it!!!! I pointed out that the unit is less than 3 months old and should be covered by the warranty (I registered it with them upon purchase) and have heard nothing back.... so disappointing to firstly be without it, to be told they were going to charge me for repair and then to hear nothing... They obviously had an issue with a batch of models as you mentioned.... I await their reply. But quite simply, you were most definitely right, as a simple on the go audio set up it couldn't be more sweet. Just hope I get it back soon 😁🎶
First and foremost, thank you for the kind words it’s very much appreciated In regards to IFI and charging you, that’s despicable. They really should not be doing that scene as I pointed out that there are QC issues. Hopefully the fact that they did not respond means that you were correct and they do not need to charge you. Keep us posted, because otherwise it’s going to get mentioned in the next video of IFI Welcome to the fam 🐅
@@ConvinceMeAudio Thank you for your support. They have replied by saying as I bought via ebay the obligation lay with me to return it to the seller within the thirty days.... BS Have replied to them requesting that they reconsider their decision....
@@edhumm if this had happened within 14 days that could’ve been an avenue to explore what scene is the situation arose within the first three months, the responsibility lies with IFI This is a very shitty move, let me know how it gets resolved, because it will get mentioned in the Diablo review
@@ConvinceMeAudio in my most recent reply to them , I mentioned that it was your video which inspired me to buy and you had mentioned the same issue, which indicates their was an issue with some of their devices and it would seem that I have one of those units and that they should just do the honourable thing... I will let you know how it goes
Hello again 😊 It would seem that it is not possible to contact ifi through their ticket system, only make one reply to their message, so the follow up message I sent yesterday was not logged, subsequently I have just received another message from them today (it seems one message a day is their limit, hardly a dialogue) reiterating their position that as it was bought on ebay from a private seller and not an online store and despite being new the box had been opened, so despite it being new and I registered it for warranty they are not going to honour that warranty. I just replied, again repeating my disappointment with their position and the lack of communication and mentioned that I had bought it on the back of your recommendation and had been delighted with it, singing it's praise to all my friends. I also mentioned that I had rewatched the video and that you had pointed out that there was a QC issue with the button and the I seem to have received one of those units. Hopefully you won't mind, but I also mentioned that I had been in touch with you and you were as shocked and appalled by their response to what was clearly a known QC problem; and that you were awaiting their response, as you were about to make a video reviewing another of their products and would have no issue in calling them out. Given they only seem to reply once a day to these tickets, we will see what tomorrow brings... On a slightly related point, in your video you mentioned how wonderfully the go blu paired with the Focalaire headphones... they were brown and probably very expensive. As a suggestion would it be worth a video comparing a selection of headphones with the ifi go blu and perhaps in the 150-300£ price range As the S12's have been so enjoyable, perhaps other Planar over the ear headphones would be a good place to start. I love the S12's with the go blu, but perhaps a headphone with a much deeper warmer texture, but still with the clarity of the S12's is what I'm looking for... The other thought which followed was if the lead on a set of headphones was shortened, the go blu could be clipped to the headphones, bringing all the benefits of the ifi to good over ear headphones 😁🎶💖 With best wishes and gratitude. Edward
Great review thanks, Waiting for your review on the Shuoer S12, and please include your finding on the combo with the iFi Go Blu. They are in the cart and I'm waiting to pull the trigger :-) Thanks
@@ConvinceMeAudio Great piece of kit the Ifi GoBlu. I'm using them with the FiiO x Crinacle FHE Eclipse IEM's and the sound quality is outstanding considering the price. Perfect for electronic music, prog house, reggae, dub, DJ mixes and the like. Looking forward to having the S12's delivered in a few days time for acoustics, lives and studio albums. Cheers !
I had a similar issue with go blu it would not drive my planars, bas was dead, now my btr5 to moderate volume on balanced not a problem, I sent it back when my btr5 dies I will maybe get one, also I had one of initial batch and Bluetooth range was terrible, apparently the new build is better
Just got this, sound effects don't seem to work, x space and bass boost , don't seem to have any effect at all don't know if I'm missing something or if I have a faulty unit I have tried a factory reset ,no difference ?
It’s the button underneath the jog wheel, I recommend listening to one of the tracks from Infected Mushroom because of the separation et cetera, what genres of music are you listening to it should be apparent, definitely in regards to the bass boost X space is a little more subtle, but xBase should be immediately apparent
