This was exactly what I wanted to learn. UA-cam is just like any art, it tells a story. In my opinion, one of the key elements to success on UA-cam is storytelling.
Finally a good video on how to create that difference between a bad video and one that actually engages the viewer. Love your channel And doing what you teach in your videos brings it to the next level
This is exactly what I need thank you sir I have just created my account maybe two or three weeks ago I have about 15 videos a few shorts and nothing is edited nothing is buttered up to seem nice it's all just long video formats I focus on the Bible working out and drawing but now my niche will be the Bible strictly and maybe some working out videos I do need help on figuring out this UA-cam game I'm trying to transition that of a worker into a full-time streamer and thank you very much I can't wait to see what you come up with next❤🎉
quality is not unnoticed, its why is subbed. Took a few videos and now I know you will give me quality vids + information. Keep up the grind, dont stop making the best videos possible.
I've been hearing about adding storytelling to videos for so long but everyone always gave the Mr.Beast type of video storytelling with high stakes and challenges and I was always confused as how I could apply this as an art/gamedev channel. I swear this is the first video about the topic that finally makes sense and actually gave me ideas for storytelling in my own videos.
Thank you for examining how this is related to educational videos. I struggled with taking a creative process, story telling, and applying it to a less entertaining concept like educational info
I say this with no hype or fanboyism behind it.... This was single handedly the best video on this topic period, it literally feels like robbery having access to this for free.... You have one of the brightest futures ever ahead of you man, this is like Alex Hormozi level youtube advice, for creators!!! Thank you!!
I watched this video 2 weeks ago but I didn't understand anything, now I understand storytelling perfectly 😊 this video is worth more than some training. The explanation is incredible
I personally love the Move Forward concept the most. I always used to make my videos super quick and fast paced removing all the small details that could potentially be the key for story development ruining the flow. There ought to be a change in that.
We're new but hyper-focused on great storytelling and these are truly useful, actionable tidbits. Hope to grow our subscriber base with these ideas. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for your content! I haven't tried this specific story advice yet, but I've found that the videos I take time to apply your advice into get more views than my other videos.
Bro, please keep uploading these types of videos with a lot of value. Do it for your LATAM viewers who cannot afford any mentorship. :) Cheers from the best country in the world: ARGENTINA!
This has really helped me. I only have a few videos at present. I think the content is good - that of, making an off grid living - but i have a long way to go in terms of structuring my videos. I want to start being able to tell stories around these small adventures in life and i am further inspired to do so by this info. I already have a small growing audience and itll be exciting to see the exponential growth from hereon in!
I am French and our youtube and so different from yours but it’s crazy that the narrative codes are the same . Thank you very much for this knowledge .
Thia was good fun....things I've known but assembled in a way which reminds me to focus...and keeps me on the right track. ( That said, most all of my videos derailed..... .Not much hope for my channel.....no light at the end of that tunnel; looks like they just filmed The Fugitive )
Hi! Great video buddy. Could you please share the sources of the songs you used? Did you get them from a licensing service, and do you have any specific permissions or licenses for them? Thanks! (Love from india 🇮🇳)
Happen to find your video by accident, you vids are one of the best videos that I've found, it has introduced me to some of the very fundamentals concept and also deliver great details about storytelling and I think it's gonna help me a lot with my own business. By the way do you have any recommendations on what books should I read to learn more about this storytelling stuff ?
I understand that storytelling is very important to keep viewers engaged in the content, however, how does the tension piece come into videos that are trying to relax the audience. I watch so many ASMR and nature videos that are designed to relax the audience and reduce anxiety. If you want relaxation and happiness to be the end goal then does tension matter?
15:07 saving a plane.. go and skydive with strangers... is interesting in itself. It doesn't require any special techniques. If I need to have these things happened I wouldn't have to rely on storytelling techniques as much. Casey neistat was impressive because there was nothing special going on in his day most of the times.... but he made the ordinary interesting. By telling it in a certain way. The real challenge is to make the ordinary.. special. Not the special ..well told. How do you tell a story that you don't do anything for the first time. No major accidents happen.. the stakes are not universally perceived as high. How do you make the mundane special. Thanks for making this video
Good video. I recently put a video out that did really well but the only complaint I had is that I missed a step in my video because I forgot to shoot that part of the build and they were confused bye it. I believe that video could have done much better based on this
Love the vid if I could give a tip as well dont use canva for video editing of this size it’s not capable of handling it well the visual effects in the video are laggy your better off screen recording capcut imo
This was exactly what I wanted to learn. UA-cam is just like any art, it tells a story. In my opinion, one of the key elements to success on UA-cam is storytelling.
❤ totally agree 👍 I'm a new youtube channel with a few videos but yeah. So much to learn
Agreed! I made a video on my channel with less storytelling and one with more aspects of storytelling and the second one did so much better!
I have only one thing to say.
It's Absolutely Mind-blowing...
Bro bro bro!!! You nailed what I’ve been looking for in the first 5 minutes 😊
Finally a good video on how to create that difference between a bad video and one that actually engages the viewer. Love your channel
And doing what you teach in your videos brings it to the next level
Totally agree 👍 👏 good information for sure.

this is what I was looking for thank you for making this video
Finaly i found the Video i searched for a long time!
The amount of pressure on those editors, when talking about the cutting. Hahaha they put in the work though and made a masterpiece great job!

The perfect use of sound is this vidro itself
The hardest and simplest thing there is to do for a video. Can have an excellent video idea but without a good structure to it ☠ Great advice
Totally agree 👍
Just found this and i jot down a lot, thanks for this
Would love to watch and see how you dissect some good videos like Life of Riza or Ali Abdaal :D

It got copyrighted hahaha
How are you able to do the animations, and the zoom in and zoom outs in your video ?
Use a video editing software like Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve
nice one my bro😊

Beautiful work
now do one with Sam Sulek style
Great video! That iphone and android drawing tho? 13:12 - Straight flames. #picaso
thank you bro😊
Excellent tips
What do you say about a niche where visuals are not involved? Like storytelling of MrBallen...its just a talking head all throughtout a 20 min video
Doesn't he have a good chunk of b-roll clips and photos he uses throughout to give supporting visuals though?
U are back 😢😢
Where do you get your background music?
The ones who are from Argentina: 👀
lets have those sound effects
