1.Dick helped Bruce trust people again. He helped him learn to show affection to others. He forced him to change and become more well rounded person in general. Dick is the perfect balance of vigilante and your every day a regular guy. He’s what Batman is supposed to be as a leader and hero in general. Sacrificing to make sure he fulfills his commitments while not completely abandoning his personal life. 2. Jason is simplest terms is written to test Bruce’s belief in everything he learned from his relationship with Dick. Jason’s death tested Bruce’s faith, hope, trust etc.. and made him shut people out again believing that taking on youths was more harmful than good. 3. Tim was a full circle moment. Showing Bruce that sometimes shit just happens and Jason can’t be considered the rule. Tim helped Bruce trust again after his greatest failure in Jason. Showing him everybody deserves a second chance even himself. Tim Drake is also the perfect Robin because he aspired to be nothing more than that and is content with it. He is the best aid to Bruce where as Dick can do the job but ideally too good for it or better off solo going about things his own way.
@@nierinwolfy8513 I personally don’t really understand what they want Damien to be other than the typical asshole little kid who is talented type of character. As far as his impact on Bruce it’s hard to say he’s as impactful as other 3 or even Barbra because he isn’t. BUT I think Damien more than anybody challenges Bruce’s ideals and makes it hard to counter because he is Bruce’s son.
This is an awesome video! I've always thought about how each robin takes an aspect of batman and kinda takes them to the extreme (Nightwing with his hope and heroism, Red Hood with his anger, violence and murder) It really shows how well written these guys are
1. Dick Grayson represents the light and hopeful side of Bruce and what Batman was meant to be 2. Jason is the dark and vengeance violent side of Bruce and what Batman could be 3. Tim is the detective/intellectual side of Batman 4. Damian represents the balance of Dick ,Jason and Tim, and the childhood Bruce never had growing up with the conflict between being more on his dads side or his Mothers side
Batman. Family. Neigh twinge. Red hood. Tim. Drake. Stephanie brown. Damian first time seeing you and he said that you were going through some stuff. Same ghost story
I just found you. Robin has been my hero since I was a kid. As a 90's the "side kick" always appealed to me. Tim, Wally and Kon got to take the wheel and it ruled. I dont know about analytics, but I enjoy hour long videos.
Off the top of my head: Dick represents the potential Jason represents the danger Tim represents the ingenuity (very weak arguement) Carrie Kelley represents the inspiration Damien represents the legacy idk im yappin
@@Jonathan-A.C. the symbol of the bat is Damian Wayne cuz he is Bruce’s legacy no matter how hard he tries to run from it I think resillence works for Barbara and as for Kelly inspiration fits
@@dereklouther9372 I see it. But I was more looking at it-I suppose, from the perspective of inspiration. They pick up their mantle because they are inspired by what Batman is as a symbol
Tim Drake is and forever will be my favorite of all Robins, I just love he is pretty much the closer when it comes to the MIND of Batman, but he is still a hopeful and compassioned person, not fully trapped in the Batman paranoia, but can tap into what makes Batman so scary as an opponent, he had the potential to be a great leader some day. But my favorites members of the Bat family are not here and they both to me integral to the mythos and the HOPE of Batman and are his daughters or adoptive daughters, Cassandra Cain and Stephanie Brown.....both represent different parts as well but also share what Batman aim to do with Gotham, REDEMPTION, they both are the daughters of criminals and assassins, and yet they both choose to be GOOD, to help people, they share the sense of Batman of see everyone can be redeem and change and you not need to be like your father was....also Cass represent the combat skills of Batman, and his most dangerous side, his darkness his brutal justice in the street, Cass easily is the most Batman of all the members when it comes to INTIMIDATION, even more than Red Hood....Steph is different, she is the tenacity to do what is right even when everyone says you to STOP, that you don't belong there, Despite how many years Bruce was against Spoiler been a vigilante, she never stop helping and been a ally to Batman, and graduated to one day become a Robin (even if was for some days only) and better than that, a BATGIRL, and finally earn the respect of Batman......I love these 2 characters and I think they have influence Bruce as well....becoming a better father and a better person.
I dont agree with the intelligence aspect, but I agree with legacy aspect kinda. Tim represents the importance for Batmen having a Robun, after he became aware of Batman tearing himself and the cury apart when Jason was killed. Throw in his roll in Batman Inc and the rehabilitation of villains such as Clayface shows his desire for the legacy of not just Robin but Batman. Legacy for Damian is just lazy
This video puts the thoughts I’ve had for a while into words. Nightwing is the best of Batman and Red Hood is the worst. As much as I love Red Hood making his way back to the Bat Family, keeping him as a villain allows the dynamic to truly be seen
@@LetsTalkComicsHQ I think he means it kind of odd to not include another prominent Robin, but then adding Barbara. At that point just name the video "What the Bat Family means to Bruce" or something along those lines. Since the video is more so about the core Bat Family anyways.
I'm hoping that this comment comes across as constructive, so I apologize if it doesn't: I really like this video. The things you talk about--the concepts--are certainly worth talking about. However, I think it would be helpful for you to write a script to read off of, rather than the way you did it here. The amount of times you say the word "fact" or the phrase "the fact of" in places that don't make sense really makes it hard to pay attention to the *meaning* behind your words, and brings the attention to the *quality* of your speech instead. Again, I hope this is constructive; I really hope to see this channel do well.

What about Damian?
In a way when you think about after this video I think some can agree that the robins are Batman’s contingency plans if he ever we went rogue
That Would Make For A Good Video Topic

Let’s just say that Damian was born out of wedlock and Talia didn’t tell Batman. No sleeping drugs, no DNA cloning, and no miscarriage bullcrap

I always liked the names Nightwing and Red Hood…but Red Robin for Tim Drake is just boring. He needs something else 😂
I always thought Sparrow would be a fitting name for Tim.

Nightwing is the best but him leaving to be on his own was the best
What’s your opinion on superhero mantels in general ?
I will make a video on that soon

Legacy for Damian is just lazy
Actually, did Grayson chose the name Robin based on Robin Hood?
The first time I heard that was in Batman forever I remember in the comic books years ago and they said they chose him after Robin Hood
good video man. my only suggestion is a more tightly scripted video, less filler words etc
This video puts the thoughts I’ve had for a while into words. Nightwing is the best of Batman and Red Hood is the worst.
As much as I love Red Hood making his way back to the Bat Family, keeping him as a villain allows the dynamic to truly be seen
Red hood being an ANTI-hero is prolly the most realistic portrayal of Batman as Nightwing is a idealistic portrayal of the Knight
What would sparrow represent to dark claw?
Stephanie Brown what's a robin why wasn't she used I recorded was never a robin Anthony main books
