Somwehow i could imagine a young san germaine being the kind of guy willing to fight a belmont thinking it'd be a fun experiment. He's also kind of a self important know it all. Not old enough to be grumpy and defeated yet.
Legacy of Darkness and especially its rushed predecessor 64 also fall under the under appreciated by fans label as well. Though at least a version of Cornell shows up in the Judgement and the Castlevania entry with Gabriel in it I think.
I'm glad to see someone play this, I used the mage here so I can break his time stop, it was also fun to see him break it when you stop time outside counters
Having watched the Netflix series, I really got to hand it to them that they used this outfit in a sequence of flashbacks, of Germain traveling from kingdom to kingdom. It's a great easter egg that they threw in for the fans.
I don’t hate the anime version of CSG, but I do think I prefer this version a lot more. I like the idea of him as a mysterious figure guided by (and beholden to) a higher force, and while I appreciate the anime’s attempt to give him some personal motivation and character traits/flaws, I think it counterintuitively made him less interesting in a lot of ways.
4:45 I know what ya'll are thinking Why does St Germain have a Revolver in 1479 Why it's simple St Germain is a time traveler and he gave blue prints to Hector for that Gatling Gun he made later on
0:53 Just love the delivery on "I could fight you! :^D" like he's giving a seminar instead of getting ready to fight.
Indeed 😂
God, I just LOVE Saint Germain here. His voice is just perfect.
Stop..... you can't move.... 😊
Wow, Hector was doing WAY better in the video game
Indeed 😂
Hector in Netflix(western ver) : virgin bitch
Hector in real castlevania : Edgy dude with cool variation of innocence devil army aka his own stands
@@Aripuni1 😂
@@Aripuni1 Chill. He was a prisoner. You were in his shoes, you may do the same.
@@Aripuni1 Hector still creates his own devil army. Striega even points out he could easily just forge his own army to rebel against his captors.
Had to come here after watching the Netflix show. Wasn't aware he was in the games. I also didn't know Hector and Isaac were either.
Indeed :p
The show basicaly took characters from multiple games and made it into a new story.

@@seifer447 me too
keep in mind though they're pretty important to the lore.
Blame the writers for not keeping the original story intact, not that Netflix version was bad or anything
People sleep on this game, but I love how it turns Castlevania into Digimon with a side of gothic architecture and Victorian horror.
I found about it around the time I played it, wish I had known sooner

It's such an amazing game!

Too bad they fucked up his character along with Hector
I also like to add he goes into the infinite corridor which is also the penultimate area before you head into dracs castle
ST. Germain is truly a G
He’s such a G, that he’s about to become an H
is he also G from Street Fighter 5?
ERMAIN
Hello, I'm hector.
And between a bright dandy looking gentleman and a shady looking dark priest, I choose to put my trust into the latter.
Love this Version of Hector because he is voiced by Crispin Freeman
AKA ALUCARD HELLSING ULTIMATE
It's a shame they weren't able to bring him in to reprise his role
This boss pissed me off when I was a kid.
Hey yeah he was a pain
Me2 i dont remember much of the games but i recently rediscovered Saint Germain after watching the netflix show. Then be like oh that fucking guy

It's western cartoon dude. It's not an anime.
I like St. Germain in the show a lot. They did a great job making his story an inversion of Dracula's
I hate the cartoon in general.
I prefer this top hat version. The anime csg looks like a French Baker. Plus, this one is more suave, like G from SF5..
@@MrSilentProtagonist how so as a none Castlevania fan I wish to know why
The fight always goes good till he pulls out his piece.
😂
Its a loss that I never knew about this game in its time
Man, same.
Only found about it by the time I played it.
Such a good game.
Best Castlevania hands down.
This game is so underrated it makes me sick.
Castlevania's Dr Who
November 2005. Good times.
Fun Fact: The voice actor for Saint Germain is the same voice actor for Oswald E. Spencer from Resident Evil 5.
I wasn’t aware he was a game character. Jeez, I should’ve studied the games more.
Indeed he is

Isnt it stated somewhere that St Germain takes Hector to aid Julius and Alucard in the 1999 war or something?
So he can do more than manipulate time. We need to see him fight more
I use Japanese voice because afraid English voice might be bruh, but this dude's amazing
This game's English dub is actually perfect...except that single female character who ruined it.
"Developed by Capcom"
This was such an annoying boss, but I was able to get through.
Nah, after shadowserg boss rush in CoD, it feels boss fighting without IDs is more fun

I can't believe they managed to do even Saint Germain dirty in the Netflix Series.
Seriously, fuck that series. It's so disrespectful to the games.
