- I had a meeting recently with an insurance adjuster for a second inspection on a supplement for Hurricane Ian property damage and it was filmed on camera. My team, the general contractor, the property owners and the insurance adjuster all met to inspect damages that the first insurance adjuster was missing from his Xactimate estimate.This was in St James City in Pine Island, Florida.

I like your style bro, relax making the adjuster feel comfortable and be fair in the final numbers, hopefully you got over the $220k lots a work, I am a GC in California but I am getting in to restoration, is a new world to me and got a couple headaches now, taking my first client to court , she got the money from the mitigation and she wants to paid half of it 😂, and in the other hand I am fighting with Mercury insurance for 4 months Now, but hopefully we can. Work things out before the end of the year. Great video 👍🏼

There is nothing more beautiful when a homeowner opens the key to their home and livelihood and selects a contractor to represent them and they work together backing each other up to get a fair insurance loss coverage and the adjuster understands that the customer and contractor are tight and they are just trying to be dealt with fairly. They all gain what is fair for the type of work performed enough to keep the wheel turning not only for the contractors and insured but for the insurance companies... otherwise we dont have this industry..

Great stuff really enjoying these videos. As a public adjuster in New England I handle a lot of large loss fire claims but I have a property in Florida that needed a PA on it and they had literally no idea what they were doing it got to the point I was doing the work for them. I see all over social media all these new up and coming PAs who have no construction background and that’s okay but they also are super lazy and just go right to appraisal to put the workload on them it’s nuts and an embarrassment to the job title
Unfortunately, I would have to agree with you. There are great PA’s out there… even in Florida. However, there are just far too many down there who give the profession a bad name.
