This takes me back my freinds and I always did this cus you could buy yeast sugar and juice as a kid but you can’t buy whiskey once we even made a mead cus my uncle was a bee keeper so we got the honey for free (not knowing what we where using it for
I made this it was very good I don't think I ever had a hangover that bad but I made it with organic apple tasted much better not as bad as a nasty hangover as the concord I don't know if I would make that again maybe it was the sugar I don't know but and I did drink a lot LOL

Made up some mixed berry (3 bottles) and some mango (1 bottle) 3 weeks ago according to your instructions. Going to check on it next week. Oh and for "us" Europeans, a cup of sugar is 200 grams😊❤. Love your wine recipe PawPaw.
Yay, it's done! And it turned out absolutely fantastic. The mixed berry juice wine tastes similar to mulled wine we have for Christmas in Germany. And the mango came out great as well, but mixed with a bit of sparkling water makes a wonderful refreshing drink. Thank you PawPaw! All it takes is to follow your instructions 🙏🙏🙏🥰
Just started my first batch 5 minutes ago. Berry blend. Now it's a waiting game, pretty excited! Thanks paw paw, you remind me of Santa only you bring better presents =)

learned to make wine from this man about 5 years ago now, i've since made many wines and meads. he's very knowledgeable and if you pay attention to the steps he gives then it should turn out fine. PawPaw congrats on the nearly 98k subs!
Thanks for the reminder, PawPaw!! I have two bottles of grape juice in the pantry right now with this specific use in mind. Just gotta get it mixed up. Have tried lots of different kinds of juices but so far, I like just good ol' purple grape juice wine the best. I do let the sugar "heap" a little when measuring, though, because I like it a bit sweeter. Appreciate ya, my friend!
Paw Paw, the Great! It's great to see another wine making video. You started me off years ago 98.1 now You certainly deserve your silver button I hope it's soon ❤️

People have a problem with the concept because the MFer's can't do math! The dumbing down of America is the reason for this. My Pavonian Math has stuck with me all these years because we were taught and we learned. LOL. BTW I proud to be one of the 97K subscribers. I'm sharing the hell out of the channel and making a push to get you to the 100K mark. And I do remember that Livestream you're talking about. I got concerned and damn near called 911. 😂😂😂
What is your oldest Vintage of Red Neck wine in your 'Cellar'? I saved one to take to my ol' folks for Christas Dinner one year.. it was about 4 months old.... it had become a little nicer for sittin!
Found your channel a week and a half ago and have 2 bottles going. Can’t wait to stop buying with. So expensive and contains a lot of unnecessary stuff. Any idea of how to make something similar to cabarnet? TIA Paw Paw. Blessings.
I swear PawPaw, I think you have turned me in to a wino, lol! I have about 10 gal of wine brewing using your recipe. My shop is just full of bottles. Can't wait to taste it, but leaving it alone like you said.
Hey paw paw i just started my wine 12 days ago i did everything but i think i didnt use enough yeast because it didn't fermenting alot can i add more yeast im using cran grape

When u taste it does it have fiz? or is it flat? if yes to fiz then its doing its job, if yes to flat BUT is still very sweet then I would shake it up and see if that dont restart the process... if u wana add more then just do it lol Remember the temp u keep it at makes a diff, if ur in winter time, things will go way slower.
I have my first 3 batches going. I made them a week apart. I'm anxiously waiting for it to be as calm as a stale cup of coffee 😅. Would like to try it before going all in for Thanksgiving. We usually have over 20 people so I'm going to need a few bottles.
@@DoingItCheap I've been trying different types of juice and different sugar. A couple I ended up dumping out. I enjoy it though. When I have some more money I'm going to try and make a few really fancy batches.
PawPaw, love your videos, I am headed to ALDIs now to get some juice to be ready for Thanksgiving. I love it cheap and simple. Thank you for enlightening the world with your humor and knowledge.
I love watching your wine videos. Keep em coming. I decided to try your method and make myself some wine to enjoy at Christmas I picked up a jug of regular cranberry juice and saw this white cranberry juice blend and decided to try it too. It apparently is a blend of white cran berry juice white grape juice and apple juice all mixed together. I’ll let you know how it turns out. Thx for sharing your cheap wine making methods
I subbed don’t stop doing these videos tho! I remember seeing your videos a while back keep up the great work! Maybe do a mead!? Or a carbonated drink with some cheap reusable glass bottles and some sealing cork thingy mabobbers!
I'm emptying my mom's freezer, cooking juice, add a mountain of sugar and a little yeast. Let's see what happens. I tried pawpaw's recipe a few years ago and it was the best concert ever. I could see sounds 😂🎉
Thank you PawPaw, I never believed I could make wine, all “wine experts” tend to go insane with the equipment and procedures to scare people off. But today I found the truth, your wine recipe. True wine, nothing will beat that Paw. So I thank you again, blessings 🙏
I just love you and I needed to see this video today. My Momma passed away 10/23/2015..... 9:17am She was Italian and we loved wine. Gonna make so in her honor. Thank you Sir ❤❤❤❤
Hey Pawpaw I just wanted to thank you for starting me on my Winemaking journey. I started with your videos 4 yrs ago and since then I progressed in equipment and knowledge and complexity. But whenever anyone asks "how do you make wine" I send them to your videos and tell em' "this is how I started, it's as easy as this". Wanted to thank you in case this really is your last wine video (tho I hope it isn't). 🍷
I think I just ran into your doppelgänger today. I almost said something, but he made a remark that he doesn’t drink before noon. I remarked that it’s noon somewhere, and he agreed with me. lol😊 I appreciate your videos. My cranberry mango juice came out nicely and disappeared quickly.
Homemade wine is pretty hard to screw up. I was doing 2 new and one attempt at reusing must (experimental)-and well I got distracted by some deliveries and lost my way with amounts. So, some got more yeast, some not enough sugar-some got less yeast and lots more sugar. In the end, they all came out tasting fine, some just had more sediment and some took longer. Good fun-thanks for the videos!
Sorry to hear that you are in the group of receiving dumbass questions. And sorry to hear this may be your last wine making video. I do enjoy watching real people doing what they love. Thank you❤❤
I made my first batch using grape juice. Followed the recipe not quite exactly, transfered all the juice into a 1 gallon Jug. Melted 2 cups sugar in about 1 qt of water. Added that plus 1/2 tsp of yeast. Net result was a little over 3/4 of gallon. OMG, after 24 days in a constant 70ish degree in my basement, darn good tasting wine in my view. Not to dry or sweet. Pretty good kick to it! Transferred out of the primary fermentation jug into another 1 gallon jug, will bottle in another week or so. First time I ever made wine and the wife said she likes it, and it is strong.

Alcohol doesn't cause hangovers. Sugar does.
Ahhhhhh that answers that maybe I can cut the sugar down a little bit what do you think
Other than of course cutting back and not drinking that much LOL
Could be you drank it early. If you used too much sugar or it was too cool, it will take longer to complete the fermentation process.
Had a buddy make this from your video and it turned out great.
Very cool! You mean I have TWO viewers from Utah !!!!
