I made this it was very good I don't think I ever had a hangover that bad but I made it with organic apple tasted much better not as bad as a nasty hangover as the concord I don't know if I would make that again maybe it was the sugar I don't know but and I did drink a lot LOL

Alcohol doesn't cause hangovers. Sugar does.

Could be you drank it early. If you used too much sugar or it was too cool, it will take longer to complete the fermentation process.

Made up some mixed berry (3 bottles) and some mango (1 bottle) 3 weeks ago according to your instructions. Going to check on it next week.
Oh and for "us" Europeans, a cup of sugar is 200 grams😊❤.
    Love your wine recipe PawPaw.

Yay, it's done! And it turned out absolutely fantastic. The mixed berry juice wine tastes similar to mulled wine we have for Christmas in Germany. And the mango came out great as well, but mixed with a bit of sparkling water makes a wonderful refreshing drink. Thank you PawPaw!
All it takes is to follow your instructions 🙏🙏🙏🥰

Thanks for the reminder, PawPaw!! I have two bottles of grape juice in the pantry right now with this specific use in mind. Just gotta get it mixed up. Have tried lots of different kinds of juices but so far, I like just good ol' purple grape juice wine the best. I do let the sugar "heap" a little when measuring, though, because I like it a bit sweeter. Appreciate ya, my friend!

directions say 30 days... when u look at it, is Flat? When u taste it does it have fiz? or is it flat?
if yes to fiz then its doing its job, if yes to flat BUT is still very sweet then I would shake it up and see if that dont restart the process... if u wana add more then just do it lol
Remember the temp u keep it at makes a diff, if ur in winter time, things will go way slower.

Homemade wine is pretty hard to screw up. I was doing 2 new and one attempt at reusing must (experimental)-and well I got distracted by some deliveries and lost my way with amounts. So, some got more yeast, some not enough sugar-some got less yeast and lots more sugar. In the end, they all came out tasting fine, some just had more sediment and some took longer. Good fun-thanks for the videos!

I made my first batch using grape juice. Followed the recipe not quite exactly, transfered all the juice into a 1 gallon Jug. Melted 2 cups sugar in about 1 qt of water. Added that plus 1/2 tsp of yeast. Net result was a little over 3/4 of gallon. OMG, after 24 days in a constant 70ish degree in my basement, darn good tasting wine in my view. Not to dry or sweet. Pretty good kick to it! Transferred out of the primary fermentation jug into another 1 gallon jug, will bottle in another week or so. First time I ever made wine and the wife said she likes it, and it is strong.

It is a quarter of a teaspoon per QUART. We are making 1 1/2 quart batches. Tell someone that you need a quarter and another half of a quarter teaspoon and watch their head spin. 1/4 plus 1/8 is 3/8.... 1/2 is close enough in a 1.5 quart batch.

Good to see you Paw Paw. I started following your wine recipe three years ago now and it can't be beat. I just got finished making my latest batch witch will be ready for the Christmas period, as usual it will be enjoyed by family and friends. They all reckon it's bloody good stuff 😁 Thanks again Paw Paw. All the best wishes from the UK.

I started making your wine recipe in late May. Make with bread yeast and wine yeast. Have to say the wine yeast does give it a better flavor as well as using glass fermenters. Thanks again for all the videos and sharing your knowledge

Wonderful! Please keep in mind the name of my channel. I try to show folks the easiest and cheapest way first and have always encouraged people to experiment AFTER they have a successful batch using my recipe.
