Speaking of Megadeth, Lovebites guitarists Miyako and Midori have appeared on Rock Fujiyama, a music show hosted by Marty Friedman (who resides in Japan). Also a change of pace would be good. Maybe do Epilogue or A Frozen Serenade next.
"I got sht to say!" Hell yeah bro, just say it! I'm with you on that, it's a reaction video. I love your energy! I wouldn't be surprised if, within a month or two, the Wolfpack gets sucked in by it and brings you over 5k subs. Oh and if you want to see LOVEBITES' progressive side, I highly recommend Edge of the World ua-cam.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/v-deo.html Probably my favorite song of theirs!
Only 460 subscribers? Crazy! Make that 461. Love your genuine enthusiasm along with having actual knowledge, it's a great combination. You've definitely been Bitten, so enjoy the ride!
Another great reaction! Now we have another face melting Lovebites suggestion for you. It's called Scream for Me. I counted about 16 guitar hand offs between Miyako and Midori and the last minute and a half is a face melting guitar duel for the ages. Buckle your seat belt! ua-cam.com/video/acwkphgzNg8/v-deo.html
Smoke Show, strongly recommend you do A Frozen Serenade live ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html. It's the favorite of many and you'll see why. Three things come to mind: 1. The moment, obvious when it happens and nothing that you would expect, trust me 2. The solo Midori rips off after the moment, talk about an emotion-filled solo and 3. Listen to Haruna's (drummer) double bass kick pace in the latter half of song...just unreal. She's 4' 9"!! This song will hit you hard for reasons you would've never guessed! 😀
Brutal!! The main riff is crazy good!! And Haruna on drums is a killer!! 🤘🐺🤘 Winds of Transylvania is another awesome song - ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html It's the opening song of the anime Vladlove!!
Where has all this awesome music in Japan been...right here all along apparently. LOVEBITES is my new favorite heavy metal band since discovering them just a year ago. This band, and NEMOPHILA are 95% of my playlist these days. Welcome to it. 🤘🐺🤘
Yes sir they are very addicting, and to think that back in 2017 and 2018 no one wanted anything to do with Lovebites because they are their hardons on baby metal and band maid stuff, me and a couple of fellow fans two are no longer around got a lot of hate from the same hypocrites that supposedly love Lovebites now, HA I laugh at them. The main thing that makes this band unique is the diversity and versatility they show with the many styles and genres they play and all infused with classical elements, you got to see the other side of Lovebites, a more mellow proggy power balladry side with their "E" songs Edge of the World, Epilogue, Empty Daydreams the jump to Swan Song with Chopin etude intro and Frozen Seranade. If you don't want that and want more havier and faster songs more upbeat go with Scream For Me, Dancing with Devil, or Raise some Hell. Perhaps you are right about Midori but guess what the ladies in the band acknowledge Miyako to be the greatest as they call her "The Golden Touch" and Midori is called "The Shredder"
I wish someone had told me about Lovebites sooner than a month ago 🤯 I am more and more impressed the deeper I'm diving in here. The talent is purely astounding. Appreciate the watch brother!
Midori started to learn piano at around two years of age and electric organ at eight, but gave up both upon entering university and started to learn guitar at 20. She is a graduate of Musicians Institute Japan in Osaka, and listed Kiko Loureiro, Nuno Bettencourt and Yngwie Malmsteen as her biggest guitar influences. Generally speaking, Midori said that she plays the "flashy and aggressive" guitar solos in the band, while Miyako plays the "slower, more melodic" ones. Miyako has played classical piano since she was three and guitar since high school. Having grown up listening to classic rock bands like Deep Purple and Rainbow with her mother, Miyako ended up being very influenced by Ritchie Blackmore. But she has also been influenced by more modern guitarists, such as Timothy Henson and Scott LePage from Polyphia. It was Disarmonia Mundi's Ettore Rigotti who inspired Miyako to start composing and arranging songs en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lovebites_(band)

There just isn't any other talent in metal like them. Let's be honest, been a long time since talent like this has come along. When you think how much practice / hours it takes to do harmonized solos; M&M do them practically every song...just insane. You want to see more next level skills... Signs of Deliverance live, when the lights go red, u know it's going down Scream For Me live...2nd half of song is a f shred off...shit u not. You have only scratched the surface Smoke Show! 🐺🦊
didn't take you long to get all in and lovebitten. do you have any flesh left ! if you ever come across one song that's even remotely mediocre let me know. but i won't be hearing from you anytime soon. other than more reactions. and yes midori is the ultimate metal guitar goddess. you could go with any song but 'scream for me' has one of the best guitar battles between m+m that will take your breath away. 'when destinies align' is an official mv you won't want to miss. 'signs of deliverance' live, too. here's 'scream'. ua-cam.com/video/acwkphgzNg8/v-deo.html
Yes, Miho the bassist is a great fan of Steve Harris. I think I have recommended you The Crusade ua-cam.com/video/0guewPdnrKQ/v-deo.html before. It's an homage to Aces High, try it, you'll love it.
The songwriting is on another level. Lovebites is #1. We are ready for their return! New bass player incoming! Not sure who it will be.... but wolfpack has a favorite!
@@brandydynamite5877 I sorta dropped the hint to Midori. Other wolfpack did too. I hope she had great chemistry with the band during her audition. All we can do is wait and see what happens.
If you love the way Midori shredds wait till you hear two other guitarists way much younger and I really believe far more superior Haruka aka Hal-Ca (19 years old) of Asterism she is a beast on the fretboard, as well as an Indonesian metal goddess Ayu Gusfanz (17 years old) Hal-Ca "Dawn" ua-cam.com/video/buQPvINJcA0/v-deo.html Ayu Gusfanz "Global Warming" ua-cam.com/video/ij90ySeSp18/v-deo.html
Enjoying the reactions! A couple observations I've noticed as an over the hill rock guitarist: Ever notice how close Midori keeps her fingers to the fretboard? No wasted energy....textbook shredding. She also rotates her hand perpendicular to the fretboard for greater reach. In contrast, Miyako approaches the fretboard at more of an angle which gives her more strength for deep bends. Makes sense as she's more of the "feel' player.
Ron brother, that is phenomenal attention to detail!! I noticed it more with Midori's hand positioning than Miyako, but that is a great call man. Thank you so much for leaving that comment and watching! 😶🌫️
I'm glad you are returning to Lovebites, witnessing their nasty side. They will coming back, hope more nastier and new masterpiece. 'Bring it on'!, Lovebites!. Yeah.. great reaction friend..shout it out!😆😆👍👍🤘🤘
We could form a 12-step group to address Lovebites addiction...then again, Nah! So, I fully get how taken you are with Midori (just wait till you see the photos from her bodybuilding workouts), but each of them has a special magic. Miyako is the genius who composes more than half their music, and she is also a world class classical pianist. Haruna is the pocket nuclear reactor who smiles as she burns the house down. Miho is the founder and inspiration for this band, and has left them with a legacy that will be hard to match. And Asami is a world-class metal vocalist who continues to improve with every album, every concert.
"that descending two-handed tapping"! only few reactors could appreciate that stunning feat.. lots of people admire Miyako's tapping techniques, don't get me wrong, the Golden Touch is fucking awesome, but the Crazy Shredder's tapping techniques with complexity not so much people could notice instead of her arpeggios and unbelievably precise picking. thanks a lot for your close observations !
Every video I watch of this band blows me away more and more. They are right up there with the trio from Periphery as my favourite modern guitar players 🔥
You just need to fix the problem with video going slow dude. Its not good. But everything else is great. Lovebites is one of a kind band. You have to see a lot more, dont stop now. You re on a good path
Hey smoke volume was a bit low in this video but than for the reaction! If you like thrash I think you will live Nemophila OIRAN. Try the live version!
You were savagely deceived. Holy War is Power Metal in its most classic and pure form. And the worst of all is that you believed it (according to the first pause during the video). There are enough differences between Power and Thrash to not notice XD EDIT: I just saw your second pause and apparently you have no idea that you're actually a fan of Power Metal, because, I insist, this IS NOT Thrash Metal. If you believe me, fine, and if you don't, fine.
@@SmokeShowStudios Excuse me sir but I wasn't the one who started it, it was you saying "thrash". You say you love Thrash referring to a Power Metal song. There are several Lovebites songs that have a clearly defined genre, and this is one of them. If you want to see the difference between Power Metal and Thrash consider this one, which is Power Metal, and then check out Set the World on Fire, which is Thrash Metal with a Power Metal chorus and Power Metal solos. The difference is noticeable. Maybe that way you will learn something, remember that wise people are the ones who recognize that they still have to learn some things.

Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall
Reincarnation, wait for your call
Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
Morning star and dying moon
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Mighty soul, let there be hope
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
