That drummer is Thunder Goddess Haruna, at 4' 9", also known as little BIG Engine. They're an ELITE band, every member a master at their craft. Oh no way! You have found Lovebites! I followed you first as you did Nightwish reactions, as they became one of my favorite bands over the last year, thanks to UA-cam reactions. I then made it my hobby, as so many other Nightwish fans, to watch any and all Nightwish reactions I could find, to relive the fun, which is how I found your channel. Literally thr only other band to do that for me has been Lovebites. I am obsessed with them (in a good way!). They're so good. I like them at least as much as Nightwish - they're just different, which is great! All so talented. I saw Nightwish last year, so it is now my goal to get to Japan to see Lovebites. I recommend continuing, because like Nightwish, they will continue to surprise you, again, in different ways. Some of my favorites: Thunder Vengeance (the show opener at this concert), Set the World on Fire (the solo and the chorus are fire!), Swan Song (with the Chopin intro, where Miyako can show her insane piano skill), Frozen Serenade (Midori plays some acoustic), Break the Wall (the hand off from the one solo to the other is a thing of beauty). Literally my favorite band right now. The talent level is insane. Haruna is the drummer. She's astonishing, like you said. Asami on vocals. Midori on guitar on the left, Miyako on the right, and Miho on the bass. Sadly, Miho left last year, but she has been replaced by Fami.

Hey man, I really like your reactions videos a lot, especially the Nightwish ones; they are exciting, emotional, but... missing LOVEBITES and...that's the BAND! This japanese girls are amazing and will reach the top possibly after the release of the new album "The Judgment Day" which will be released in February. They deserve it, they have incomparable talent and are dedicated to making that Metal that only the great ones knew how to do in the 1980s and I think they are managing to recreate all of that in a magnificent way. If you want to hear a good song by Lovebites my advice is to write down every song they've produced on a piece of paper then close your eyes and stick a pin in it. The song nearest your pin will be, at worst, a very good song or, if you are lucky, a masterpiece. These ladies don't do mediocrity.
Congratulations, you just found the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 and dropped their first song, “Judgement Day” on December 22. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and founder of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the great European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other groups. The four of them then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she was also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed a little more than half of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics, and cowrote the music for “Judgement Day” with Mao. In mid-2020, Miho left the band she had founded, for personal reasons. They recently announced their new bassist, Fami, who is a young phenom and herself a composer and multi-instrumentalist. The instrumentalists studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance was that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like crazy). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. The members of Wolf pack(Fan club) highly recommend live videos. LOVEBITES is better with live videos than with music videos. In our experience, live videos outside of LOVEBITES have often not been as reproducible as music videos. However, since the release of the album, the girls have practiced and improved on some of the songs, and have recreated songs that would be impossible to recreate in a live performance. All are tight performances. There are many others, which we have included below. Please watch at your leisure. P.S. That drummer is Thunder Goddess Haruna, at 4' 9", also known as little BIG Engine. They're an ELITE band, every member a master at their craft. Oh no way! You have found Lovebites! I followed you first as you did Nightwish reactions, as they became one of my favorite bands over the last year, thanks to UA-cam reactions. I then made it my hobby, as so many other Nightwish fans, to watch any and all Nightwish reactions I could find, to relive the fun, which is how I found your channel. Literally thr only other band to do that for me has been Lovebites. I am obsessed with them (in a good way!). They're so good. I like them at least as much as Nightwish - they're just different, which is great! All so talented. I saw Nightwish last year, so it is now my goal to get to Japan to see Lovebites. I recommend continuing, because like Nightwish, they will continue to surprise you, again, in different ways. Some of my favorites: Thunder Vengeance (the show opener at this concert), Set the World on Fire (the solo and the chorus are fire!), Swan Song (with the Chopin intro, where Miyako can show her insane piano skill), Frozen Serenade (Midori plays some acoustic), Break the Wall (the hand off from the one solo to the other is a thing of beauty). Literally my favorite band right now. The talent level is insane.

If you want to hear a good song by Lovebites my advice is to write down every song they've produced on a piece of paper then close your eyes and stick a pin in it. The song nearest your pin will be, at worst, a very good song or, if you are lucky, a masterpiece. These ladies don't do mediocrity.

Congratulations, you just found the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 and dropped their first song, “Judgement Day” on December 22. Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and founder of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the great European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other groups. The four of them then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she was also trained in ballet).
Miyako has composed a little more than half of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics, and cowrote the music for “Judgement Day” with Mao.
In mid-2020, Miho left the band she had founded, for personal reasons. They recently announced their new bassist, Fami, who is a young phenom and herself a composer and multi-instrumentalist.
The instrumentalists studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance was that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining.
They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like crazy). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band."

LOVEBITES is better with live videos than with music videos.
In our experience, live videos outside of LOVEBITES have often not been as reproducible as music videos.
However, since the release of the album, the girls have practiced and improved on some of the songs, and have recreated songs that would be impossible to recreate in a live performance.
All are tight performances.
There are many others, which we have included below.
Please watch at your leisure.

Many Reactors have to respond to many requests from channel subscribers, and it takes them a long time to come back to LOVEBITES, or they have copyright issues and stop reacting to LOVEBITES.

In my opinion, in the music videos for these three songs, Miyako&Midori seem to play slightly more complex or slightly longer solos than in Live.
Also, Asami keeps her high tones more beautifully in her music videos than in her LIVE performances.
The girls will recreate these three songs, which would be difficult to recreate in a music video, as tightly as possible in Live.
