- Water is down, temperatures are up. We've gone well over 100°f for the last 4 straight days, with plenty of upper 90's leading up.
Fishing has been a nightmare, the river we fish doesn't have a deeper spot to move to, but there is a break on the horizon. Next week will drop way back to the 80s, but until this river rises several feet, we may as well move on to hunting season!
Nina have you every try trout flys to catch those small bluegills,black Nat works great
It's been so hot this week the fish are already fried when you catch'em.

I'ma farmer so I Kno all about sitting makes your back hurt. Helps when I put a pillow under my thighs or adjust my back rest all the way up and force myself to lean back instead of forward all day long
That looks like a Harvester butterfly, their larvae predate aphids especially wooly aphids, they are going for the salt

Definitely illegal to fish with goldfish. They are considered an invasive species and if they come off the hook they could severely damage an ecosystem

My dogs would get their normal ration. I'd be having deep-fried catfish nuggets outta that rascal. Along with some deep-fried breaded okra and Uncle Ben's long grain rice. Good eats!

Hi GuysHad storms rumble thru last night in Louisville, a policeman was injured by a falling tree smashing his squad car (at the crazy chemist house, look it up). Temps should go down as well as water coming up, like everyone in this part of the country will be glad to lose those 100+ days. -P.S.- are U on the Barren or Green Rivers?
