    Bought this one to get in the door as l am almost 70 and I am impressed with how well built this bike is. It really is a durable machine and strong. I think it will last longer than me! It is good transportation if you don’t have to go too far too fast. Have not completely mastered it yet but have purchased a larger faster shengmilo to advance in the spring. Excellent informative video!🤙

    I don't hear hardly anything negative about the bike. But lots of compliments in this video. Almost too many, start feeling unbiased

    So this is my first e-bike and I really do love it. I've only had it for a few days, so take it for what it's worth. Good deal.

    I have a BPM F-15RS 1000 Watt folder, and it has both front and back tektro hydraulic disc brakes. I’ve put over 4000 miles on it and it has literally never let me down even once yet. I can’t overstate how reliable that bike is, I absolutely love it.. I have an Onyx RCR also, completely different animal.. I think you have an RCR Mike, how do you like it? Anyways check out the BPM Mike, it’s a really solid buy!

      Sounds like a good bike but it's twice as much money. Is it worth twice as much?

      don't get excited, they always advertise more than what they can actually deliver and yes i do think it is pricy but it is about average of what is out there. There are some more cheap ones in price but they don't fold, not sure how important is this to you.

    Hey, Mike! 👋 To answer ur question, there is an ultralight, full Ti, soon-to-be electric folding bike. It's called Helix folding bikes from Canada. Currently, they only sell the standard version to which I am enjoying (UL Single speed version). Great video and Merry Christmas!

    Great review, good to get insight from a very experience biker. The Mars is a great entry level Best Buy E-Bike. For the next step up from this E-Bike I suggest you to jump up to the $1,600 Espin Nesta Folding E-Bike. This is a do-it-all compromise, -- an all around "one and done" best buy E-Bike IMHO. Add a quality suspension seat post for more all around comfort and you're good to go. Well worth a hard look for a review, esp. with your all around experience with all kinds of bikes. Be careful out there. LJP

    Lectric got that Mars beat by a long shot, price under 1000 as well. Plus the new 3.0 forget about hey bike seriously.

      @@delbrett2257 the way they tuned the 500 w motor,that's 1,here is another,lectric is faster ,ready for some more,lectric is a better looking bike,the 3 ×20 in tires look better than them 4 × 20 just a little to big more surface to tire contact with the road,path,or trail that means your 4×20 are harder to pedal because the more contact the more resistance, the more resistance the more ware and tare ,you will go through more tires in your bikes liferime

    Here is the way to move this bike onto a SUV if you don't want your back to be hurt:
    1)fold the pedal on the side of bike being folded, this way the pedal crank can be rotated in the narrow space between two wheels when bike is being folded;
    2) after bike being folded, make the front wheel parallel to the rear wheel so that the pedal crank can freely rotate between them;
    3) roll the bike on its rear wheel with a dog ramp onto your SUV. In doing so, try to keep the front wheel parallel to the rear wheel as much as possible so that the pedal crank can be rotated between them freely.

      The bike is a hair over 60 lbs. Something that weight shouldn't hurt your back as long as you're lifting with your legs.

    One review i saw on this bike stated that once the battery goes out, the bike essentially has to be walked bc it was so hard to ride with manual power only - anyone have any experience with that?

    • @MikeFede
      @MikeFede  2 роки тому +3

      I never let it go dead but I have ridden it with the bike off and it rides like a traditional bike. Maybe the person who said that is use to the motor doing all the work all the time and forgot about real riding resistance. Most all ebikes are like this too. I hope that helps answer the question 🤘🏼
