I have this bike and it's awesome. I use it for commuting to and from work primarily but it's an all-around great bike to use. Very easy to set up and get going. One thing you should check is in the menu. Make sure that the wheel size in the control box is set to 20 and not 24.
I have this bike and traveled over 200 Miles so far and it's flawless. Has a USB output too so I installed a custom buwoofer with rechargable battery for long boring rides and it's crazy fun. It's one of the more beautiful bikes in my opinion. It looks tough, intimidating and powerful. The SUB and speakers keep the cougars away.
Hey Albert, I just came to lend my support of these “other” reviews. I love these new electric personal transports you’ve been covering. These are great buddy. I keep thinking of trying to DIY an electric bike. Turn an old alternator into a DC motor, and make a big 18650 pack for it.
You can pedal in any level setting going up hills, rounding slow corners for sure "footing" at slow speeds or on sandy or slippery surfaces over tar....and you can really feel that your peddling is helping the bike to climb better... AND it is good for me to get some exercise as well...haven't climbed a hill with my Ranger yet that feels cumbersome or nonproductive. I like pedalling whenever it seems to work for both me AND the bike. I love using the Ranger for getting around town for errands and leisure/fun or light off-road riding..... .....BUT I still use my "tried and true" beautiful and trusty traditional road bike: especially for more intense work-outs (as l have been an endurance road-cyclist for decades). BOTH bikes fit seamlessly into my lifestyle.... and having both types of bikes compliment each other beautifully: l AM VERY GLAD TO HAVE THEM BOTH!!! .
Thanks a lot! These videos are actually more time consuming to make because you have to get a lot more footage but still fun to capture the experience. These eBikes have come a long way. Getting better and better all the time.
Hello Albert. Great review of pretty neat e-bike. I'm old, retiring soon. And this e-bike looks like a good option for me after I move to NC. Fat tires with mag wheels, decent suspension, nice, can leave the pavement, within reason. Where we're looking is pretty flat. How is it to pedal with no battery assist? Happy biking Albert 🚲🤓
I don't know how you find the time Albert, thanks for the great review. I am into bikes with the fatty wheels, comes in handy during the winter months. Been trying to settle on one, this does seem fairly reasonable.
I keep looking at the bmx style ebikes. I really want one but it’s hard to justify spending so much on them. It looks awesome though. Did you figure out how to unlock the speed limiter on the Heybike?
So what is the weight limit on this eBike? Is there a "recommended" adult\child "size" chart? MFG recommended height/weight limit on riders? Loved the review btw. I want one😁. I'm retired living in a rural area. Be a great way to go harass my neighbors! heeheehee. And the closest town for groceries, gas, etc..is 6 miles. Be a great way to get outside. (Not in Winter tho! LOL)😁 Looks like fun 🙂.
The Impala is superior in pretty much all categories but it's also nearly triple the price...ouch. Too rich for my blood but I'm seriously comtemplating a Ranger.
@@AlbertKimTV there are ways to apparently cycle through parameters shown on the display in each of the multiple vertical sectors of the display info. I think on the bottom sector of the display you can cycle through the parameters shown to you get you to Watts using the up down buttons.
Typical noise level for an eBike with this large of a motor and knobby tires. Most of the noise is from the tires and people who hate that noise just switch them out for road tires instead.
I think there is a law associated with ebikes, therefore they are not subject to what it takes to register a regular motor bike. Max speed is 20 mph with elect assist, large cities can go up to 25. There are 3 types, type 1 & 2 is max 20, one needs to pedal, the other don’t have to pedal you get the 20 mph max speed. Of course you can pedal as fast as you want or can. Type 3 is for big cities speed max is 25 mph. Also, there is a limit to watt rating of motor, as I recall.
I like these kind of bikes but I don't like them when they fold up if they make the same bike without the middle folding up that would be awesome and they should make different colors
I know a lot of people read comments and they read other people's comments I got a really good one it's for for Schwinn company why don't you make different colors of e-bikes that got mountain bike tires that are puncture proof and make different colors and have a bike light already mounted onto it a back light mounted on to it then it's flashing red have a built-in horn that is twice as loud and make it more faster and have a tracking device inside the frame and have a bike alarm and it'll be one solid frame by be a step through because I don't like stepping over a bite that's getting kind of hard to do Schwinn company that makes bikes I'm going to leave what's on my mind on Facebook and I hope you can get a hold of me because we can make this happen and we can be better than other e-bikes and have a bike rack built on the back that has a cushion for someone you want to Trail on the back while you're riding it or you can take that off and have different size baskets in the back if you're going to carry stuff that would be awesome

Had one like this befor took it on train commute. Really useful and served me good for 6 years!
Great to hear!

Wow, interesting project and thanks for the support!
You could make a nice little business of converting people's regular bikes for them. The ready-to-go models are selling out pretty quick.

Pedaling with no assist is like any other bike. Just start in low gear because the bike is still pretty heavy.
Been looking at this bike with the golf accessory.
Looks like a good bike. Good idea about the rubber band over the key. My bike has a key like that too and I never thought about it falling out.
😁
Never really looked at these electric bikes. This one seems pretty neat, good stuff Albert 👍
😎
I don't understand what you mean when you said you "run out of pedal"...... please explain.
It's when you try to pedal harder but there is no resistance which means your physical effort is being outpaced by the motor.
@@AlbertKimTV ... gotcha!!! I understand completely now.. Thanks for your prompt & succinct explanation.
I don't know how you find the time Albert, thanks for the great review. I am into bikes with the fatty wheels, comes in handy during the winter months. Been trying to settle on one, this does seem fairly reasonable.
There's a lot of good options out there. I'm gonna hold on to this one for a while.
The 🚲 is great thank you 👍
I keep looking at the bmx style ebikes. I really want one but it’s hard to justify spending so much on them. It looks awesome though. Did you figure out how to unlock the speed limiter on the Heybike?
They told me it wasn't locked but that my weight at 200 pounds is probably why it won't go faster 😂

This reminds me a lot of The Big Game Bike folding Impala but the Impala has hydraulic brakes, 750w motor and 24amp battery.

Great video. Just bought some thanks to this.

How are u filming while your ridding are using a drone ? If so it's cool 😎

Hi, love this video!! Where did you get your front basket. I have a ranger and need this badly
Got it here... amzn.to/3ayDfS3
Seems pretty cool
😎
Thanks great info.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Albert, how's the ranger so far? Any issues?
It was great while I had it but I don't own it anymore. I had to move it to review new bikes.
Pretty nice looking bike, Albert! It really seems great! 😃
Fantastic review!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
😎
Where did you get that basket?????
The rack on the back is included with the bike. The bag is not included. I got that here... amzn.to/3RauVZl
Does the display show realtime watt usage? Did you see the peak watts during hill climbs or top speed throttle runs?
It didn't show that.
@@AlbertKimTV there are ways to apparently cycle through parameters shown on the display in each of the multiple vertical sectors of the display info. I think on the bottom sector of the display you can cycle through the parameters shown to you get you to Watts using the up down buttons.

Is this bike loud? Or is the sound normal for most e-bikes?

@@AlbertKimTV there’s another law pertaining to e scooters.
Depends entirely on where you are
How do you reset trip mileage?
I'm not sure... I didn't see it in the manual. Perhaps contact customer support?
@@AlbertKimTV It resets every time it shuts off.
this is the new jeep
How much this bikes?
Check the links in the description. Prices change all the time.

🤷♂️
Nobody ever shows if the bike can fit in the trunk of a car. That's one of the selling point.
Depends on the car
Fits great in my equinox with no problem folds and handle bars fold also, take seat off! That’s it!
