For me personally the IR makes a huge difference. Lots of folks say the stock IRs are fine. If I can get to where I need to be with a pack and can save myself hours of tweaking frustration why wouldn’t I go that route? Ain’t nobody got time for that!! I need to spend my time playing.
Wow!! Finally the way the cab really sounds. I stumbled on this video and bought the cab pack last night!! It’s great!! Finally!! I have a real 101b and 4x12 that I played for 10 years. The York IR’s really sound great!! Thanks for doing this video Greg!! Inspiring for sure!!
I think is a magnificent video my friend. Really well played and really versatile tone. Very good tips on the IR selection and everything shared for free... please keep rocking and sharing this kind of great material.
Wow thanks bob! I’m always tweaking these presets but at least gives some sort of foundation and the cabinet helped me a lot since it sounds like my 4x12 and I could just concentrate on the preamp side of things.
Great tune! I have this pack. Love it, especially mix 05. You should collaborate on all the York Audio packs. A discount code on every pack would be awesome! 😁 I have a couple more to go to finish up the collection. Justin makes pure quality IRs. 👍
These are coming from superior drummer. Highly recommend trying it out (usb from the brain to a laptop or desktop). EZDrummer is from the same company but scaled down but plenty of kits to choose from.
Honestly can only tell you what I’m using at the moment. I have 2 styles. Higher gain (Marshall, etc) and ac30 style stuff. This Bogner is one of my favorites. Other than that I’ve been using the York matchless cab pack. It sounds great. ML sound lab makes some great ones but top 3 would be hard for me to pin down. Depends on my mood but I really just stick to 1 or 2. Playing in church mostly and that’s the matchless pack.
Yes as long as you have the ability to upload custom 3rd party IRs into the 2 notes. I don’t have one so you’d have to check your manual. Might depend on which model you have but I know some of them can load custom ones.

What do you think of the York Audio Cab Pack?
Justin makes the best IR's in my opinion :)
Agreed!
I need to get the Fender 4x10 next. He makes great cab packs.
Did you grab this one?
Greg Summers yeah I already have the Bogner and most of the others. Great stuff.
Got the cab pack... made my helix into a keeper! Truly the best IRs I've ever purchased.

Sounds great. I’ve tried everything under the sun and York Audio sounds the best. Most realistic.
Seth Filippo thanks. Yes I’m very happy with this cab pack.

Good solid preset...probably the best I've heard.

I’ve done a few other demos of York stuff. Great the work with them. I’m sure I will do more down the road! Thanks for watching!
Is it 16ohm or 8ohm speakers inside?
i can't checkout, what can the problem be?
A bit off topic sorry, are those drum sounds off the Roland brain? They sound fantastic. If so which kit??

What are your top 3 cab packs for mid Gain?

@@GregSummersMusic Thanks!
is this can work with 2 notes torpedo?

What are your top.3 cab packs for higain?
This can pack, the ml sound lab freeman pack, and probably the York Mesa 4x12 one.
@@GregSummersMusic which mesa pack from.york? The traditional?
It’s the 4x12 recto from the bipolar cab pack. I don’t use it much anymore. The Bogner is my favorite
