I could see that Kiki has gotten bigger as she lay in the cat carrier after Mimi got out. I’m happy that Mimi is better now. They are both such sweet cats!
You are a great human caregiver for these little furries. Kiki looks great, she is growing so much and it is noticeable that her breathing has improved tremendously. Kiki is soon going to be fine, this has happened to my cats too and I have opted for homeopathic treatments, mostly because my female cat has not responded well to chemical medications, but what I can tell you is that they respond to the love given to them and you give them lots of love and care. Just be very careful when you go to the vet. Never let your cats out of your sight… sometimes your cat can get sick when they’re visiting the vet. I learned this the hard way.

Don't get rid of the Cat Towers. Shorter ones are available. One's that have steps! Mimi's smart, believe me she will learn her limitations.. I noticed Kiki grooming herself. Excellent! She's showing her independence ❣ Salutations from California 🤗
good to hear kiki is doing better too, I have been noticing her looking much more active and alert, much more curious and playful of late, coupled with a lot less of the rapid breathing and related shaking when she's at rest. She generally looks a lot stronger in recent weeks, a lot less fragile.

Human Dad thinks Mimi might have jumped out of her cat tree and landed wrong. He took Mimi and Kiki to the vet and the Vet gave him antiinflammatory meds and pain meds, nothing appears broken The cat tree went away for now. The vet also took a peak at Kiki and her breathing sounds good and she is gaining weight They go back next week for a recheck.
