I have many of their plugins…I use Studer, Pulltec, Maag eq, 1176, LA2A on a regular basis…and Api eqs as well.
I have Neve and SSL ch.strips that I do not use at all but mostly because I have only pci duo…only 2 sharks 🦈
Using gate and hysteresis is what I want to explore but it is a bit like “black magic” to me…would love to use Neve while I’m recording my analog synths, at least for that…because I can run only 4-5 Neve or SSL strips, I don’t use them while mixing.
Next…I have both Moog filters, mxr flanger/doubler, guitar pedals, Roland chorus, EMT plate, Capitol Studios and Ocean Way reverbs, Tonelux tilt eq (apparently good for use with headphone mixing?!?)
Precission eq, enhancers and the basic ones…
So…ch strips and its gates…how to squeeze some best juice out of them?
All fx that I have…mxr and roland chorus don’t get much of a use as well….and those reverbs…I really like Capitol Chambers but not sure how to use them…in a chain.
Ocean Ways reverb also works…weird sometimes.
Generally, you can pick up any of these plugins and just discuss history, techniques, compare them to hardware as well.
