How do I deal with pple shielding her beams?

If people are pre-emptively shielding her beams, then you have time to set up negative edge orbs and use it to control space.
Aoko doesn't have an answer that directly beats shield against beams, but she can bait out shields and use it to close the gap or just gain a lead in resources.
