Re-badge vehicles quickly and easily! 3M™ Press in Place Emblem adhesive is a pressure sensitive transfer adhesive allowing emblems with existing foam tape to be re-attached quickly and easily. Save and re-use your undamaged emblems with this time and cost effective solution.
Clean both surfaces (the badge and the vehicle) with Isopropyl IPA prior to application. Then simply press the emblem onto the adhesive strip and place emblem on vehicle, no trimming required.
Convenient and eliminates mess - no drips and runs like conventional glues.
Unlike double-sided tapes, there is no trimming required - the emblem strip conforms and adheres only to the surface area it makes contact with.
    Secure and long lasting bond.
Works best with solid backed emblems that have substantial surface area for the adhesive to bond to.
24 month shelf life - long lasting so you can keep in stock, ready for when you need one.
    300mm x 50mm strips.

I just got through reapplying my repainted Porsche Boxster S badges on my trunk. I had not used this 3M product before, so I watched several U tube videos.
    Lessons learned:
You CAN put too much on the badge. I laid it on the adhesive strip, turned them over and pressed down all over the badge through the clear strip to make sure it was distributed evenly. When I pulled up the badge, the adhesive was webbing in between the cursive lettering. I thought, no worry, I can just rub it and ball it up it with my finger like the guy in the video said.
Well…it wasn’t that easy as it took two hours with wooden toothpicks, Q tips, and paint prep solvent. I finally got it looking decent, but I would do it differently with hindsight.
Stick it on the strip and the take it back off immediately. Clean off the excess with a Qtip before applying the badge 😮to your car.
Get the adhesive off of everything that it doesn’t belong on promptly. It starts curing quickly, and I was in the shade. The paint prep solvent worked better that isopropyl alcohol on the Q tips.

Interesting. What is the cure time of the adhesive? And can it be applied over top of PPF?

Hey can you turn the back ground music off?
These sticking ideas are great, but how does this stop some scum bag with a screw driver etc from ripping the badge off? Cheers..

It's not a security device mate! A bloke with a screwdriver could rip the badges off ANY car, whether it's got OEM applied badges or not. Jeez...
