This is me realizing you could run away. I always just destroyed the 4 crystals surrounding the Blood of Lathander or found the dawnmasters crest in all my playthroughs so far.
First, Those Glasses on Minthara! She looks like a Librarian, a Hot one at that! How did you get the Blood of Lathander Shrine to Explode? When I picked it Up We just Walked Out.
If you don't insert the crest (you get from the puzzle where you match the ceremonial weapons up to the people they belong to) and pick up the Blood of Lathander it activates, You get forced into turn based mode to either escape or disable the mechanism.
One simple way would be as follows: 1. Make sure you don't kill her in goblin camp. What I did is not talk to her then open the fight from range, knock her out with non lethal. 2. Proceed to act 2 via underdark or mountain pass, doesn't matter which, just skip creche for now (don't have laezel in party and she won't make a fuss). 3. Go to the tower and proceed to recruit Minthara. Now you can go back to all of the act one areas you haven't yet finished. As long as you don't complete the events of the Shar gauntlet, you can return to all of act one.
@@dumbfukx that's my understanding. You can return to act 1 as long as you haven't resolved things with the nightsong and gotten the subsequent cutscene.
Nope. There are certain events when you can control other party members as if they were Tav. This is one of those scenes where you can play as Minthara. One of the other characters must be the Tav startup.
@@MerlinTheCommenter tell me about it please because it shouldn't be possible to play as/with minthara until act2. Not sure if the path back is blocked by the time you reach moonrise towers...
If you have one of your party members selected and it jumps into a cutscene, their POV sometimes replaces Tav’s. In this case, the OP put Minthara in charge for a bit.
