Insane to me that one major is more important than the others. Players like Tusk, Kuhlect, King Nick, etc. that have been competing all year don't get to go to Worlds because they missed one major. And now the talent pool is worse because of it. HCS should use points standings after all the majors have finished and then have a play-in tournament for the final teams.
@@N0T0RI0US_DRE this information isn’t entirely correct and hcs did do almost this exact idea. I believe The top 8 from Salt Lake City guaranteed a spot in pools. After that it was the next 4 teams based on points that were accumulated all year long . Then after that they took the next 8 teams based on points and had them play in a play In tournament on lan. I’m surprised they didn’t go because if I remember correctly they qualified for travel coverage to compete in the open bracket and even if they didn’t make it out (which I’m sure they would have) they probably would have guaranteed a spot if not by points at least by the play in tournament. Also want to add that all of the other players that made it into worlds have been competing all year as well.
@@YNOTBCASTING Thanks for the info. It's impossible to find online anywhere. I figured those players couldn't go because they didn't attend SLC, but it was their own choice not to compete?
King Nick chose not to go to SLC and the others didn't pick up a 4th. Their own fault, they don't stand to lose much anyways. That team had a ceiling of top 12, what is that at even at worlds? like 5k?
OG is a team that can win big tournaments. They've proven that already. The problem is that the team as a whole struggles to reach a flow state together. Sometimes FormaL pops off & carries the team, sometimes it's Lucid or DeadZone, but never the squad as a whole. Lucid gets frustrated very easily it seems & makes silly mistakes, FormaL gets checked out after losing a few games, Trippy & DeadZone are not consistent at all. What i just explained is what separates SSG from OG. SSG wins this tournament imo
So excited for this. Partner pre-warned I'll be absent all weekend. Green wall lets go.
The way you said it makes you sad this is the last LAN (of the year) makes me worried you are privy to some bad news about hcs in 2025.
Have a great flight Tony, Worlds is gonna be great
@@TennisGvy thank you! And yesssss

Im surprised Apg can afford his weed. probably broke by now with no prize money.

Can't wait for the weekend! Gonna be CRAZZY! The competition is stiff. It's nuts that they didn't win SLC.
Have fun out there Tony ur the man thanks for the content 👍
