You are the first person I have seen talk about the importance of a brake upgrade after making all these changes. Thank you. I look forward to continuing watching the playlist!
+autoedit No other vehicle has as much aftermarket support as the Jeep JK. New companies that cater to the JK are always popping up with new and innovative ideas. A guy can easily go broke trying to keep up with the Joneses.
Just like buying a boat a camper or anything a person can add a mod to, we all want to make something our own. I say DO IT and be happy to callt yours enjoy :)
Seriously HAD to subscribe. Don't know much about you at this point and came across your channel as I was researching a bit into JK Wrangler tires. But had to post and send some kudos your way. I'm sure your camera equipment is top notch but what can't be bought is camera working talent and if indeed you are a one man show, you are up there with the best. Congrats on a jibe well done. This video was a awesome and your shots well composed and beautifully captured.
One of the greatest Jeep Wrangler video I've ever seen! You've actually proven that a stock jeep with 37 inch can make it successfully, and made us very proud owners. Can't wait for your next inspirational video and mods. Thank you.
Love the videos and I love your attitude. So many guys are sissies and I love how your doing things backwards. You are representing about 75% of jeep owners and how we do things. Great job and keep the videos coming pal!
When I was 18 I worked at Six Flags California and worked that park open to close to buy a then brand new 2000 Ford Ranger Trailhead. In 2001 My best friend rolled my truck on that very trail watching that Jeep take it on so easy gives me s sense of accomplishment that I never had myself. here's to living vicariously thru others ha ha
+Kaipo Fitisemanu, I wish, being 18 and inexperienced I didn't fight the insurance company hard enough to fix my truck. they said it was a total loss and couldn't but a year after the accident I found it for sale in Mississippi fully repaired and for sale for almost what I paid for it. at the time my friend was only just turned 18 and didn't have the means to replace it. I didn't get a new truck till picked up my current F150 Crew 4x4...which I later found out is a Hurricane Katrina salvage but 6years and not one problem.
+Adam Lemus well what you've taught me is never let your friends drive my car haha. I have a '96 Cherokee and the thing is my baby. I wouldn't trade it for anything unless it completely died on me but it's taught me a lot about automative maintenance and I have it running pretty well
+Kaipo Fitisemanu Those Cherokee's are awesome. they are a true SUV from a bygone era before the auto industry made the Explorer and Cherokees into fat little minivans. at least the grand Cherokee is still a real SUV but I digress is it the inline 6?
+Tyler Greening Thanks! I can't actually take credit for not doing everything at once because I am just an average dude doing it the way most of would!
Rob Kramer looks like your typical gay rock crawler with huge tires and almost no lift. But this video is just to show it can technically be done. He isn't saying its ideal, just possible.
The rub there in back will go away once you put on adjustable rear control arms and push the rear axle back a little. Great video! Just need to convince Fred to let you on dirt every day :)
+autoedit Do the lift. A 2" lift with flat fenders will clear 37" You won't even need to change your drive shaft with a small lift. The adjustable control arms is to put your axles back to where it belongs such as after installing a lift. When the rear wheels flexes, it moves rearward so don't get the control arms until after you get your lift put on.
Awesome videos man. Just bought my first jeep a few days ago. 2015 jk. You and the duo from crawl tv have been such an inspiration for a first time jeeper such as myself. Can't wait to start my build. Hope to see you on the trail to sema one day. Happy trailing.
Hi Jason, I just thought I would share a bit of info I found on disabling traction control:1. Check that the automatic transmission selector is in the “Park” position, and that a manual transmission is in neutral gear.2. Shift the transfer case into the 4H range position and ensure parking brake is firmly set.3. Turn the steering wheel until it is centered and the wheels are pointed straight ahead.4. Turn ignition on (and optionally start engine to make turning the wheel easier - will work with or without engine running) and wait approximately five (5) seconds for the system bulb check to complete.5. Turn the steering wheel one-half turn to the right (clockwise). 6. Press and hold the “ESP OFF” button for 7 seconds exactly then release and wait for chime.7. Turn the steering wheel back to centre, then continue turning the steering wheel one-half turn to the left (counter clockwise).8. Press and hold the “ESP OFF” button for 7 seconds exactly, release and wait for chime.9. Turn the steering wheel back to centre.10. Press and hold the “ESP OFF” button for 7 seconds, release and wait for chime. 11. Cycle the ignition switch to the “OFF” position. Repeat for re-engaging. Hope that helps!
Love your video Bud! It was like I was right there with ya! Can't wait to see more!! "There's more UP! to be had" should be a bumper sticker or t-shirt for ya!! ;) Keep wheelin Bud, we are watching and loving it!!
Off-Road Rule #1: Never go wheeling without a buddy. Particularly when you're testing a new config that is already telegraphing problems with tire clearance, and your gut reaction is telling you to back out before the second hill. A spotter could have given you valuable feedback all the way through that first run...
I am most deff subscribing after this comment. Hoping to get a jeep this fall. I have a ford 150 HD leveled out with 305/55/r20 terra grapplers and cannot have any fun whats so ever. You sir look like your having fun and your rig Is a sight for sore eyes!! Keep em coming!!
Awesome, high quality videos, brother. I watched all the jeep ones. The only thing I would say is: speeding over rocky terrain, particularly with no fenders, is a great way to throw rocks into your paint. But it's your jeep man, you do whatever you want to do.
I love how your build is going. I'm currently on the same journey with my Used 2012 JKU Rubicon. Sadly I won't be putting any upgrades on until after Christmas but I'm researching & getting suggestions from my forum. If you ever take her across the country stop my Rauche Creek Off Road Park. Then you can ready get some mud in those tires.
You might already know by now this video is a couple months old but there is a rocker switch on your console that turns off your traction control. I think I saw it in your last video, it has the traction control symbol, on my '08 rubicon it says esp off it just depends on the year.
Ur spacers are actually helping your jeep corner better. It widens your stance by 3inch. Which in handling is night and day especially on a top heavy hard top.
For everyone asking about his exhaust I can't say for sure whether he has an aftermarket but I can say it sounds extremely similar if not identical to mine, all I have done is remove the rear resonator and straight piped it more or less out the back end from the exhaust. You honestly don't even have to extend the pipe all the way out but if you don't want your fumes coming out under the body you should. Plus I wanted mine to be even a little louder so I turned the the pipe down and the sound slaps off the road and sounds amazing, if anyone wants pictures or more info message me! I can even take rev videos and send them if you are having trouble deciding. Mine is a 2013 JKU Rubicon 10A. Thanks!
Great first outing. Try using the sway bar disconnect next time you're on a road such as this. You'll find your ride will be smoother and the tire bite will be even better.
At 13:50 your light are off when you hit the harder bump and can hear it your lights turn back on and looking at the knob and rest of video lights are on whole time might check that out. It's a jeep thing
Great series. I cant wait to watch your next one. I run 315/70/17's on a BDS 3" lift right now but just spoke with my local shop about upgrading to 37's. I will also upgrade stock gears to 4:88 and go to flat fenders. Looking forward to see your fender and lift choices.
Such a cool video. I bought my wife a 2017 jeep and she doesn’t want to lift it because she’s 5ft tall and it’s her daily. How much taller did it get with the 37s and no suspension lift ??
Great Video ! Man I never would have thought that you could put 37" on there! Ok now I have to get spacers and 37 on my Jeep Rubicon! Dam I wish we had places like this in NOrth Carolina! Looking forward to seeing you install the metal cloak Fenders!
you deserve ALOT more subs. I'm anxious. you do good work my friend. between you, roadkill, dirt everyday, hot rod garage, finnigans garage, etc. I'm set
Great video. I'm working my way through the playlist now. Drinkwater is 30 min from me as well - always a fun time out there and at Rowher. Especially in the spring, when everything is nice and green.
is there a button you can press to turn TC off? if so do a long press until the TC light comes on and it should say on like it does in 4low. Not sure if that will work but thats how i turn mine off in my car.
+autoedit You only need antilock brakes with small tires. the larger the tire the more impossible it is to lock the brakes. Also anti lock braking could slow down you braking in an emergency causing you to get in an accident especially running over sized tires. Pro tip you don't need hill decent control of you know how to use your transmission, transfer case and brakes to your advantage. You can off road or your vehicle can do it for you.
this is an old video... but it's wild to think spacers can be the suitable solution for running 37's. spacers help in articulation. trails test your suspension. the travel you've given your stock suspension with those bump stops, springs, and shocks is unreal after doing those tires... i mean if you think the spacers were a good solution then why did you only choose 1.5 instead of the biggest spacer you could've given?
You should check out the Rock Krawler 3.5 lift, the articulation of that lift is amazing. My buddy installed it on his 15 JKUR and it flexes like crazy. I do like the look of the Jeep with the stock height and big tires though.
+HELLCOMESTOTOWN Oh man! You know I want to throw a light bar on this pretty bad... hmmm, maybe I'll move that up the "I want" list for attention sooner!
+billynunns Man, thanks so much! It's o.k. to laugh... I deserve it on this one. I had no idea how capable these things are stock! There's so much learning involved and I love it. You rock!
I've watched your videos and love them. Many props to just going out and seeing what you and your Jeep can and cannot do. I'm not sure who's more excited about seeing the next upgrade you do to your Jeep, those of us following the progress or you! Hahaha Happy Wheeling 😎
Nice work on the JK. I love the new tires! Try airing down to get more traction off roading it will be much smoother too. Keep wheeling and I'll keep watching.
I’m late to the party but the Jeep made that “difficult” trail look like a beginner’s path lol. Right now I can’t put anything bigger than 33’s on my Jeep because it voids the powertrain warranty, and it hurts lol!
Are these tires loud? I am looking for some to replace my LOOOUD tires I have on there now. They're General Grabbers with the red lettering. Look great, can barely hear the radio.
You are the first person I have seen talk about the importance of a brake upgrade after making all these changes. Thank you. I look forward to continuing watching the playlist!
I hope people appreciate how polished you make your videos. Great job on these!
+InFocus1977 Thanks so much! I appreciate that you took a minute to let me know!!!
Jeeps are an addiction. One mod leads to another, you're always upgrading. Just Empty Every Pocket!
+alan jackson YUP! Why is that...so much fun tho!
+autoedit No other vehicle has as much aftermarket support as the Jeep JK. New companies that cater to the JK are always popping up with new and innovative ideas. A guy can easily go broke trying to keep up with the Joneses.
that is so true
my wife wants to divorce me
I feel that

Wifey and I picking up our first Jeep in over 15 years tomorrow, a ‘18 JKU Sport....you got me PUMPED! Great vids man..
Super glad to hear that... Welcome back to the Jeep life!
Thanks for watching!!!
Jeep definitely owes you some cash....you're videos are dragging me into the Jeep abyss.......and I think I'm now going willingly!
LOL, welcome!
One of the greatest Jeep Wrangler video I've ever seen! You've actually proven that a stock jeep with 37 inch can make it successfully, and made us very proud owners. Can't wait for your next inspirational video and mods. Thank you.
+San Jamb Thanks so much! I hope to keep learning and getting better at all of this... go Jeep!!!
3:30 when your Jeep wave senses are tingling
Haha!
LOL
Cody M lol
Its a jeep thing lol
I know right! 😂
Love the videos and I love your attitude. So many guys are sissies and I love how your doing things backwards. You are representing about 75% of jeep owners and how we do things. Great job and keep the videos coming pal!
+Joshua Almendarez Hey thanks! Sometimes it's more fun to take a slightly different path (or dirt road)!
When I was 18 I worked at Six Flags California and worked that park open to close to buy a then brand new 2000 Ford Ranger Trailhead. In 2001 My best friend rolled my truck on that very trail

is it the inline 6?
+Adam Lemus yes it is
The editing and audio quality is top notch. Super impressed that you're a one man film crew
Much appreciated!
If you don't want to lift it maybe you could limit the up travel and increase the down travel. Turn it into real low slung crawler.
Good idea but he said he was gonna lift it
I like how you upload quickly in relation of your previous videos so we don't have to wait for weeks just for small updates. Keep it up love the jeep!
I love watching this because I have a two door jk that is so much fun to drive, and I can't wait to hit the trails.
one of the best jeeps series and thanks for upgrading your jeep like a normal person and not doing everything at once
+Tyler Greening Thanks! I can't actually take credit for not doing everything at once because I am just an average dude doing it the way most of would!
These first 5 videos hooked me, watched them all back to back. Thanks for sharing.
+Rich Beach Thank You for checking out the new rig and saying Hey!
Looks deadly with no flairs stock lift on 37s
Rob Kramer looks like your typical gay rock crawler with huge tires and almost no lift. But this video is just to show it can technically be done. He isn't saying its ideal, just possible.
It's great to see your jeep and your experience slowly transforming, getting better and better.
Just get the damn lift man lol
The have 2.5 inch budget boost lifts for JKU's and they are like $280 not including labor.
He can clearly afford the lift so i don't know lol
this is like, motor trend channel production quality. holy moly good job
The rub there in back will go away once you put on adjustable rear control arms and push the rear axle back a little.
Great video! Just need to convince Fred to let you on dirt every day :)
+Stuka87 HAHA! Thanks dude!

what exhaust do you have? just removed muffler?
That diff sure got close on high center lol. Great vid!
Excellent camera work. Video looks pro. Good job

Tried that and it didn't work on this year Jeep. Thanks tho!
you're doing a great job of explaining and demonstrating how to improve your jeep. thanks for videos and please keep rolling.
Love your video Bud! It was like I was right there with ya! Can't wait to see more!! "There's more UP! to be had" should be a bumper sticker or t-shirt for ya!! ;) Keep wheelin Bud, we are watching and loving it!!

Airing the tires down to 15 or 20 psi really helps a lot

Best video on the tube! You have convinced me to put the KO2 on my 2013 Power Wagon!
wow the production value on this channel is amazing. audio, video, etc. I am positive your channel will grow
very fast in the future
+notbaylor I really appreciate hearing that! I try pretty hard and want to keep at it so hopefully a few more people like you will find the channel!
Awesome videos. Love following your build. Cant wait to see the final product!
I really really love you videos men, but I'm waiting for the one that you finally decide to put a lift on it
also should get a light bar to put about the winch or above your windshield.
Awesome, high quality videos, brother. I watched all the jeep ones. The only thing I would say is: speeding over rocky terrain, particularly with no fenders, is a great way to throw rocks into your paint. But it's your jeep man, you do whatever you want to do.
+Sparks 1013 It totally did! At first I thought it was gun fire but it was just rocks being flung on the roof and hood.
Well, it’s the same guy that put 37’s on a JKU with spacers and no lift… lol
I wish I had trails like this in my backyard. Awesome man
Thanks dude!
Just keep in mind that in some states it's illegal to have tires past fender flares and since you removed them some 5-0 may pull you over.
Got it. good info!
You might already know by now this video is a couple months old but there is a rocker switch on your console that turns off your traction control. I think I saw it in your last video, it has the traction control symbol, on my '08 rubicon it says esp off it just depends on the year.
Where is this park? this place is beautiful man
Ur spacers are actually helping your jeep corner better. It widens your stance by 3inch. Which in handling is night and day especially on a top heavy hard top.
Nice...wheres this at?

Makes me want to hop in the cj and hit the trails now that finals are over and the heap is running like a top. Wish i had AC though
Great first outing. Try using the sway bar disconnect next time you're on a road such as this. You'll find your ride will be smoother and the tire bite will be even better.
You should try running your tires at 8psi, the traction is insane!
8psi bead lockers soooooooo comfy
"The more I do the more I wanna do more" that could be on a jeep shirt
At 13:50 your light are off when you hit the harder bump and can hear it your lights turn back on and looking at the knob and rest of video lights are on whole time might check that out. It's a jeep thing
It was in auto mode and when I went in a shadow they kicked on and turned off other times.
Great video ! Thanks for sharing .... I like the fresh approach so many " jeeping " videos have become stuck up this is refreshing
+Grey Goose 4x4 Thanks!!!
I want to do the same thing but I want to do is 35in Tires, and I have a 2dr instead of a 4dr
How lucky can you be to have trails like that so close home!
I'm very thankful for that!
I think I am sold on the new BFG mud and Ter tiers
I'm putting 35s on my stock jeep in a few weeks once my new wheels, fenders, and bumper come in.
Great video! I love the fact that you took a drink of water before going up drink water trail! Nice Jeep!
+Brian Campbell HAHA! Good catch on that one.
Great series. I cant wait to watch your next one. I run 315/70/17's on a BDS 3" lift right now but just spoke with my local shop about upgrading to 37's. I will also upgrade stock gears to 4:88 and go to flat fenders. Looking forward to see your fender and lift choices.
+Orange Crusher Thanks so much. I'll be curious what you have to go through to get the 37's on yours!
Such a cool video. I bought my wife a 2017 jeep and she doesn’t want to lift it because she’s 5ft tall and it’s her daily. How much taller did it get with the 37s and no suspension lift ??
Not that much, maybe a couple inches.
Great Video ! Man I never would have thought that you could put 37" on there! Ok now I have to get spacers and 37 on my Jeep Rubicon! Dam I wish we had places like this in NOrth Carolina! Looking forward to seeing you install the metal cloak Fenders!
places all over NC. look up orv parks or "public trails" Google is ur friend
you found out tire choice determines how your vehicle performs. congratulations.
you deserve ALOT more subs. I'm anxious. you do good work my friend. between you, roadkill, dirt everyday, hot rod garage, finnigans garage, etc. I'm set
+Tyler Christiansen Ha! thanks!
3:05 "ridiculously good" sounds like shaggy from scoobydoo
That was cool. Now I need to get me a jeep and some BFGs. I can't let you have all the fun!!
What's the name of that trail and we're is it at?
Doing what you did to your Jeep, instead of using 37’s, do you think 35’s would work without the rubbing? Even though the 37’s look bad ass!
AWESOME!!! No lift really needed?!?!?!?!
love the beauty shots of the jeep in sunset - really pretty stuff - jeep is looking great
+Philip Che Sung Man Hey Dude! Long time no see... I really want to catch up with you some time soon!
Great video. I'm working my way through the playlist now. Drinkwater is 30 min from me as well - always a fun time out there and at Rowher. Especially in the spring, when everything is nice and green.
Fred is starting to rub off on you isn't he...lol! Great video and it looked like you had a blast. Keep them coming.
+slowdaze He really must be... It's totally his fault I got this darn Jeep!
Cool setup with the stock rims. Could this work on my 2011 Sahara. I put the hard rock rims.
Great videos man! Got yourself a new subscriber for sure! I just picked up a 2011 JKU Rubicon, can't wait to start doing modifications.
I'm so bummed that this is last video. Any idea when the next one will go up?
+Stu C Very soon!!!
is there a button you can press to turn TC off? if so do a long press until the TC light comes on and it should say on like it does in 4low. Not sure if that will work but thats how i turn mine off in my car.
Find the fuse for the ESC and pull it.
+Adam949 The problem with that is then the ABS goes away and the hill assist... I really don't want to lose the anti lock brakes.
Because that doesn't make any sense. I put the smallest spacer to accomplish the task of getting some clearance.
Waiting for the jeep pickup and doing my "research" now. Love it, keep it coming!
Looked like a lot of fun. That trail is not to far from were I live either, I have to check it out some time.
+ognaysayer For sure! That whole area is filled with cool stuff.
amazing vid! great info!! thank you so much for taking your time and doing a amazing job!
Thank you!
You should check out the Rock Krawler 3.5 lift, the articulation of that lift is amazing. My buddy installed it on his 15 JKUR and it flexes like crazy. I do like the look of the Jeep with the stock height and big tires though.
Anyone else catch the marker and headlight coming on at about 13:50 when he hits the bump?
The power steering pump is gonna burn out if the pressure lines and ir fitting dont burst first
Nice going. Can you ride those trails at night? Would be a nice comparison stock lights vs light bar, I know your dying to put on a light bar
+HELLCOMESTOTOWN Oh man! You know I want to throw a light bar on this pretty bad... hmmm, maybe I'll move that up the "I want" list for attention sooner!
great vid; thanks! any appreciable increase in braking distance?
is that a manual jeep? if so do you recommend an auto for rock climbing...
This Jeep is a manual shift and since I'm not really a rock crawler it is perfect for the off roading I do.
You didnt deflate tires?
Any hard core 4X4 guys who are real won't laugh at you. We've all been where you are/were. Keep wheeling!
Hahaha
Happy Wheeling 😎
Looks like it has independent front suspension
+etwan fredrich I kinda does... it's just so low because that front bumper weighs down the stock springs a bunch.
Where the engine and transmission sound?
Nice work on the JK. I love the new tires! Try airing down to get more traction off roading it will be much smoother too. Keep wheeling and I'll keep watching.
how much would these tires, spacers, axles, and a recalibration cost about?
Couldn't really tell from the angle .. would placing the wheels out further w a different wheel width backspace/offset solve the rubbing?
What do you have in mind for brake upgrades, that is very important for those 37s! I just picked up the Dynatrac ProGrips!
i'm curious what previous vehicle did you use that didn't make it up the hill?
I don't know if you had checked out jcr ....you should check them out they have a lot of awesome products
What's the need for the speed?
I’m late to the party but the Jeep made that “difficult” trail look like a beginner’s path lol. Right now I can’t put anything bigger than 33’s on my Jeep because it voids the powertrain warranty, and it hurts lol!
Can you please provide the type of exhaust the you use on you’re Jeep?
