you can also avoid the dealership if you have a powervision tuned bike. I guess I should be glad, but I've had this fan for over a month and it hasn't kicked on once lol...and yes! it is activated.

When you install it, it will not work until you get the flash.
So, if I'm looking at this right, it mounts behind the oil cooler?
That is 100% correct. It just clips on.
im assuming this can just be wired up to a 12V toggle switch?
You can, however I would suggest that you get the ecu flashed to turn on with temperature.

Is this fan waterproof?
That is unknown. However I have ridden through rain and no issues at all.
@@DrHarley i am thinking installing a fan to the oil cooler of a Roayl Enfield Himalayan 411..... but I worry about the water falling on the fan
@grintelas that would be a common concern. Their is so much one can do to help preserve things like fan motors.

Hello Dallas.
Those two Torx bolts on my 2022 Road King (FLHR) were T27’s not T25’s. I watched your video mainly to see how you managed to slip the fan in behind the cooler. I had a hell of a time.
That's some good information on the t25 on your bike definitely a dance to get them in there.
My harley dealer told me they didnt help that much
I do what I believe in, and I want to try and cool the oil and motor as much as I can. It does cool the oil while in traffic, inturn cooling the motor.
Great video. I’m trying to avoid the Stealership myself. If you don’t mind sharing what scan tool are you using. I was looking at the Daytona Tec 4 but I don’t think it is capable to enable cooling fan.

Are you happy with it. I have a 2019 Street Glide Special and I work on my buddy’s bikes from time to time and I would like to get something that would scan and be able to enable an disable and be able to program Fobs and do ABS bleeding. Thanks for sharing your experience and insight on this.
@johnde5222 it's not the end all to be all. However, it does what it states. No radio flash all in all. I am happy that I have it.
