CAN THE NUMBER π BEAT POKÉMON? | Pi Plays Pokémon Sapphire - Stream

  • Welcome to this experiment, where the number π controls Pokémon Sapphire via its digits.
Inspired by the age-old question of "Can you find the entire works of Shakespeare in Pi?", and more recently by Mutekimaru Channel (Fish Plays Pokémon) and obviously TwitchPlaysPokemon, we aim to see whether there is a "game-winning sequence" inside well-known mathematical constants.
Every digit between 0-9 is mapped to a button and fed into the game per each second, making the number in question automatically play the game.
This project is streamed on Twitch, running 24/7 on a Google Cloud server.

2 left steps and Seth would've broken new ground.

Actually the answer is technically yes. If pi is an infinite number, then at some point there is a combination of numbers that could beat this game

We got Pokeballs about a day after beating May. Getting to the lab is not automated, Seth spent almost a full day on 103 before eventually going back to Littleroot
