Omega Constellation Globemaster with the 8900 movement is my everyday. Picked it up used(looked new to me from Japan) for a great deal. You've picked some great ones too. I'm glad your still putting out watch content John.
I have been wearing my Rolex Explorer 39mm a lot. I actually bought it when I was picking up my Yacht Master 40mm Blue dial that I got engraved. It is so comfortable to wear. The lumed numbers are great at night. During the day it doesn’t stand out like my Dayjust 41 yellow gold Wimbledon. Even less stand out than my Seamaster 300 white dial black bezel. Got it as an under the radar watch but found as a daily it’s perfect.
Can’t beat gold polished Roman numerals that sparkle like jewels in the sunlight. Loving the sun ray dial man that pops! MAMACOO watches. What a beautiful subtle piece.
I agree with you on the Omega AT. I have the 300M with silver dial (bracelet & blue rubber fold over strap), Also the Planet Ocean (white dial / orange bezel lumen) bracelet & grey/orange rubber fold over strap. I'm contemplating when to get the Aqua Terra 41mm blue with blue rubber fold over strap.
Good video. Thanks for the content. I think you missed the boat on the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Self Winding. I have the silver dial and honestly I could easily have this as my only watch. It's that good and that versatile.
agreed on all these. one more I'd add: the white dial Air King with black Arabic numbers (like an inverted Explorer) produced between 07-11. A truly sublime watch. My everyday? A Thunderbird blue dial with red sweep second hand and white gold rotating bezel: Rolex' first real sports watch.
I have a lot of selections (not high end at all) but I found myself always grabbing vintage Grand Seiko for the accuracy (YES; it’s still accurate!). ❤
Great picks JP :) I'm also conidering to get Rolex OP41 black dial or Panerai Luminor Quaranta white dial (30M WR is the only question mark in my mind). Currently my daily wears are IWC Pilot Mark XX (blue dial with bracelet) and Rolex Milgauss (black dial).
My next watch is either an AT38, or a Planet Ocean. But if I went AT I’m really hung up on which dial. Like I want a lot of them. Currently own a BB36/blue and it does everything, and I do wear it for weeks, but I can’t wear the same watch for months on end, I need some variety and novelty. Will never sell but I will add to this and the BBB/B (my main novelty piece).
I own a newer planet ocean with the 36th America’s cup edition dial. As much as I love the colors and the dial it isn’t a great everyday watch. It’s too thick and tends to get dinged on things. The top is tough so it doesn’t show any damage but the sides are soft so you really have to be careful. My Rolex GMT is thinner and doesn’t seem to pick up scratches.
John I've been a fan for a long time of your content. I stream nightly and would love to chat watches with you when you are available. Keep up the good work and hope we can chat soon. - ARCHIELUXURY
Everyday for me is an Aqua Terra, Sinn U50 or and Omega Seamaster Pro. I'm not wearing my Explorer any longer as it needs servicing and the bracelet is a mess. The Sinn is indestructible and never need to be set except for the date.
You're wrong about Rolex and water resistance, Rolex are one of the few manufacturers who guarantee their watches are waterproof to the specified depth.
Do you think Omega is overdue in updating its 9-year-old 8800 & 8900 movements to have a power reserve of at least 75 to 85 hours? Why not hit the trifecta over Rolex on accuracy, durability and power?
Practically all of these watches would be too susceptible to scratches for me. As an everyday watch, I prefer something made of 316L steel with mostly brushed surfaces, such as an Omega Constellation Globemaster (it has the added benefit of a tungsten bezel) or a Tudor Ranger.
Wearing a rolex worth of 15K USD is a daily wearing watch then I believe you are rich & have alot of money or you have just lost yout mind. Your daily watch should be beautiful, smiple & not super expensive.
I really need to get into this highly exclusive private watch trading club. I am submitting my application. Fingers crossed. Do you need my college transcript and/or letters of recommendation? I am looking to upscale my watch business and grind my teeth in the industry
I always hear Omega is spec for spec as good as Rolex? So the same warranty? Service interval? Power reserve? Water resistance, accuracy? If I compare a Speedy with a Daytona, well…it’s not the Speedy winning on specs. Seamaster and Submariner? Same…. So how are Omegas as good? 🫣
The Aquaterra is such a scratch magnet with those polished center links. Drove me nuts and moved mine along.

Thanks!
My everyday watch is Hamilton Khaki Field Expedition 37mm (Black)...
I will take the new longines conquest 38 mm over that tudor 36 any day
Tudor has risen from the ashes like a phoenix these last couple of years, really impressed with them.

Great watch
Outstanding video.I have to go with the MAMACOO, especially with that green dial as my favorite
Currently have a Rolex GMT, Omega Speedmaster Triple Date, Ulysse Nardin Marine.
I've been rocking a Damasko DK30

Great choices and explanations. What’s the ref for the Panerai? Love that dial.

The 1st generation Omega Seamaster ATs are the best bang for buck watch period!!
Grand Seiko & JLC!!!❤

Luminor Quaranta has 100 meter water resistance
@@JohnPWatches thanks a lot! I guess i ve tried & checked radiomir quaranta pam01292 which has surprising wr .

I wear a 1995 Vacheron Constantin Phidias two tone gold 35mm. It is an relative cheap top sport watch.
I have to say that AMZWATCH 's watches are amazing!
Should have Rolex EXP 2 on this list. Dual time, date, brushed finish. Perfect for daily use.
Great watch, but some people may not want to wear it dressed up due to the sport bezel.

Sinn is nice

I bet we’ll see the Tudor 1926 get an update with their new certification and probably an in house movement.

What about Sinn 556

Omega's 8900 movement puts Rolex's movements to shame. But I personally find some of Rolex's and Seiko's dials more compelling.
I believe no man can say no to AMZWATCH 's watches
Ginault Ocean Rover II, or Rolex Milgauss
JLC Polaris
Breguet Marine
Piaget Polo
GP Laureato
Breitling Chronomat
Some great choices
Some of the new Grand Seiko EVO9 9SA5 models sell for as little as 5000 euro nowadays. Hard to beat value wise in my opinion.
These are good deal pre owned.
For me the best everyday watche is the rolex oyster perpetual 41mm in black, and it cost less than the omega...if you can buy it
Actually, Rolex and Tudor still use waterproof. Most all other brand uses water resistant.

Grand Seiko is a horrible daily wear! The their polishing they scratch up like crazy

They aren't that's a typical Omega fan boy comment. Since most of them have Rolex living rent free in their heads
hi Jon P, I'm a hoarder, never sell ......🥸
