That’d be so cool. I think the reason they haven’t done it yet is because no transmog. So many different guns that use different ammo types and builds of magazines (and everything else) *drum mag for example

I love the reduced reload time on the heavy machine gun, I am just waiting for them to stop dipping a toe, and dive in, pun intended, on just making that a backpack stratagem with a belt fed backpack of ammunition, essentially put a link guidance system from the backpack to the gun.
i just want a 100 round magazine IDC about damage buff because the gun was never weak it was just low on ammo and poor accuracy.
That would be actually a nice and sensible buff for both weapons. But "sensible" is something the devs need to come around on
@@FazeParticlesThe gun was super weak. You could tell it was weak before the update because it was highly inefficient with its ammo. The buffs in the Viper Commando update were desperately needed to make the HMG viable.

@@FazeParticlesgun was barely doing more damage than the LMG and stalwart, it just had better pen values. Issue was it has 225 rounds, LMG has 1000 now and the stalwart 600.
As to accuracy, that would be fine if the red dot wasn’t STILL upside-down and it didn’t kick like it was a handgun rather than a heavy machine gun (should be hard to lift but incredibly stable as a platform).
only complaint is homie walked past a common sample, that could really help the war effort
If you hang around the bomb deployment areas and listen, you can hear growling from where can only be believed to come from underground. These bombs are disturbing the worms.

Simple, just add an auto-cannon pelican stratagem, like the pelican that comes in for extraction or mech drop off, but just stays around for cover fire.
Met JOEL a few weeks ago testing the HAZMAT SUIT and POISON/CHEMICAL GRENADE with and new eagle type. IT WAS AWESOME PLAYING WITH HIM
I would like to bring to your attention something that I noticed recently. I usually play automatons missions, stealth build with SC-30 Trailblazer Scout armor and helmet on helldive difficulty. Since the big patch and warbond, I noticed that something is wrong and initially I thought they had stealth nerfed the armor or perk, but in fact it's something different. The helmet from the last warbond affects it, at least the red one, I haven't tested more. The idea is that before, playing with the trailblazer scout helmet, the enemies would almost step on me without seeing me, and now with the new helmet it's like wearing regular armor, without the scout perks. I will test more helmets to see if it's something consistent or it's just the new helm/helmets in particular.

This would be possible if arrowhead had decided to use unreal engine 5 or another game engine that wasn't obsolete/dead I think the most we'll see 8 player missions maybe 12 player if they manage to get their act together

@@thornyduck To be fair, Helldivers 1 had a MAX player count of 6,400 players whereas Helldivers 2 reached a peak of over 600,000 so I don't think they had any clue this game would be anywhere near as popular as it became.
@@INoIFearIGaming I call BS how did they not realise that this game would pop off in the current video game climate we've had nothing but garbage the last half decade in terms of not only shooters but co-op games and arguments can be made for most games genres in general I'm sorry but I'm over letting game Devs make stupid decisions and get away with it it seems like EVERY patch either and old fix is undone or a new problem presents itself and the team are too busy pushing out nerfs or warbonds which makes sense why they are avoiding fixing things considering that (broken)arrowhead are using a dead engine I love the idea behind this game but arrowhead have proved that not only are they not good at listening to their community they've proved that they're not ready to make games of this scale and keep up with it's maintenance

🔥 Armor that allows us to carry more ammo, which is what I thought the blue armor from the polar warbond was gonna do, how about reload speed, fall damage reduction, better climbing, there's a lot of cool ideas they're sleeping on.
Fire resistance + med kit booster + supply pack = run through hellmire like it is a cool spring day.
Good thing about the end of Helldivers 2, is it will be the beginning of Helldivers 3.

I still play outriders, there are a few diehard fans that still keep it going. But I haven’t had the heart to go back to anthem yet. I am one of those loyal Mark‘s in the abusive relationship that keeps going back and buying the hundred dollar loyalty supporter super long time friend champion of the people pack
Outriders was a ton of fun :) I think Anthem can't even be played anymore, or can it? The gameplay itself in these games was a lot of fun! The way the guns felt and all. Sad that they never went to finish Anthem 2.0
Anthem still has some of the absolute best combat and movement I've ever seen in a game to date.
Sad that it was such a mess with more potential than most people would give it credit for.
I just recently played Outriders again, start to finish. Modded run so I didn't need that awful grind again. But it was a nice game, if only both endgames weren't such trash after a few hours each. And how the story ended...that was bad. I mean...really bad but it's interesting that there's still a dev team working in it, as I'd been in contact with a developer around a month ago for a brief conversation
I feel Outriders actually had an engaging main story, I felt for the characters and the struggle, the father daughter dynamic of your old team, how they had to move on while you were frozen for like 30 years. I felt the aesthetic for the armor was on point, it gave me Revenant vibes, the crafting / enhancing system was good, good transmog system and good skill trees. They were in depth without being too overwhelming. With anthem, I’m just gonna have to give it a whole new start, if the servers are still even up…
@@ghostlycoma4049 I personally loved the outriders story. For me it was very impactful and I still think about the ending to this day. It's annoying that if you wanted to really experience the full effect you had to go into the menus and read through every little thing, but I did really enjoy it.
@@ghostlycoma4049 I shit all over Anthem. And then I played it and on God it felt good to jump, jet and hover around while fucking shut up. The combat loop was like, just wide enough to sustain interest.
Instead of an eagle it would need to be the pelican or a helicopter. Something that can hover, but that would be cool. Calling in an Apache. It could do a rocket strafe, then hover with the 30mm and use hellfires for ariel/large threats.

🔥 the close support idea for a stratagem I saw on the helldivers reddit page some months back. It was suggested that the pelican comes down to provide close air support. They had different versions. The auto cannon air support, turrent support, and so on.
I feel like planet divers was made because helldivers don’t have rainbow capes

PLEASE! Put supply drop icons on the map. 95% of players wont ping supplies to show you where they are. You get constant moments where teammates call in supplies right next to you but you would have no idea unless you personally saw/heard the call in since they didnt think to ping it for the other players.

The pelican would make sense so you can customize it with certain weapons so it does different things when you call it in for support. When it gets too damaged, it flies away. You still have to wait for extraction, though.

I want a gun that fires a rocket powered drill. What it does is what the thermite was supposed to do: you shoot it at a heavy, and it drills through its armor and kills it. May be practically instant, may take a few seconds, but eventually it will do the job.
With the Illuminate returning soon I'd love to see some dark fluid upgrades in the future, perhaps some dark fluid powered ship modules or a backpack that would automatically teleport the wearer if they would take projectile damage would be 🔥. (On a short cool down ofc).

What would be cool would be a pilot-able aerial vehicle as the close air support that operates in a sort of hover mode, like a helicopter. You can even make two versions like the mech, one for air and one for ground. I’d buy them both!🔥
hell divers 1 servers were supported even with tiny populations, i have full faith in this companies ability to keep the game playable at minimum

Those have been present for months now but I’m sure you’re noticing them more now since they are likely our next big terminid enemy addition.
They have been around since the beginning of the game, but i have noticed a massive increase in their corpses appearing as terrain since meridia.

If you go to the fresh hole in the ground when you nuke a nursery you can absolutely hear a Hive Lord down there, and it sounds pissed.

i got a sick theory. What if the purple spores are spores that came from the black hole to our worlds? we all know that the black hole is actually some sort of wormhole. So the supercolony still exists somewhere and it sends spores through the black hole to our side of the galaxy!
illuminate use arc, bugs use acid and bots use fire. so if we seeing arc resistance with cutting edge, fire resistance from freedom's flame, then it would make sense for there to be a warbond with acid resistance for the bugs🔥

What I don't get is why helmets don't give passive bonuses. It seems like they are missing the boat on this one. You only get 3 gear options. Armor helmet and cape. All 3 should have some type of passive and not just the armor.

🔥 The spores probably have something to do with dark matter and that giant black hole we made out of the super colony. It has a similar colour palette, Lore why's it could be explained through some mutation of materials being wantonly locked/quantum entanglement between similar materials. As well as we get directed to go deeper into bug territory this could allow them to alien invasion from the Black hole flanking Super Earth Forces And allowing them to reclaim their old Territory and possible facilities on the southern part of the galactic map.

So this is complete speculation on my part but has anybody else noticed the setting in keybinds to bind a button so your hood can be toggled on and off? I tested it and it doesn't do anything for the current HUD in the game so I'm willing to bet that they're going to implement the helmet HUD system Johan has talked about in the past.

Both the arc and this possible fire resistance armor should be 100% resistance. Besides the Flame Hulk, nothing else so far has any of the elemental damage against us. You can still die to anything else. Why not at least one full resistance? If we ever get 100%, more people would use flame and arc weapons. The Arc armor is at 95%, and you still get damaged pretty heavily if hit by Arc damage.

far as longevity.... people are still playing PLANETSIDE 2 and its still being updated...i havent played that in a decade... HD2 has so many ways to expand...the Illuminate... vehicles.. clans... RAID missions with multiple 4 man squads... i think thats where they are going with the HIVELORD .. he will be the first RAID BOSS
