Alan Turing was also the one who came up with the idea of morphogenesis, which explains patterns in biology.
Apparently the death of Charles Darwin's daughter Anne made him see the world in a new way. Instead of seeing it as a miracle of god, he saw it as a cruel and harsh place which didn't care about who died and who lived, and where those sick or injured, like his daughter who suffered from scarlet fever or tuberculosis, would often die. Which affected his ideas in regard of how evolution works.

science will keep on with discoveries and help humans go with further advancements. but then life always has its stumbling blocks that mess up as much of whatever science helps to build. and that is those who stubbornly and relentlessly stand against it with gods n religions. But then why ?

Humans need religion to believe things they don’t have the strength to research is about! It’s easier to say God created the world! Than telling them it took billions of years of evolution

Being Religious is one thing, believing in God is quite another. Religion is the human interpretation of God, his nature, and will for our life, along with some history of our world, and the universe.
All the discoveries science is making are the result of the elements and the laws interacting. It is Cause that has given us everything that exists in our universe. If you can discover the origin of the elements, and Causation, you will surely discover their purpose, and an intelligence beyond our comprehension. Call it what you will, but something or someone had to create that which can create.
