Some Christians say homosexuality or living your homosexuality (so does this preacher) is a sin. Sin is a disobey to a "divine rule".
Where in the Bible is God saying that he is putting a rule against homosexuality or homosexual life?
In Leviticus the Hebrews made up their rules to be different to the Canaan’s in Canaan while expanding in the land, and to give their human made rules more impact in difficult times they called them “divine rules”, but they are not divine.
Or in the Corinthian or Roman letters of Paulus, he declares in a very confused way his rules to his communities to keep them together as they were about to break apart in the else wise cultural Corinth. After my interaction with people, I came to a conclusion that gender doesn't matter at all, gentle temperament, good character and behavior is more important.
I myself got to experience triple trauma:

My heterosexual friends want to leave Christianity because of what the Bible says on homosexuality. I said, you never give up Jesus for anything. They say they love homosexuals. I say, so do I, I don’t tell them I condone what they do, I don’t need to, that’s not the scripture to focus on. You focus on the gospel which says that love covers a multitude of sins, Jesus died for everyone, Jesus came for sinners and not righteous, and love is what helps you keep commandments. Not only does The Bible tell us gay marriages are wrong, but they are also invalid across America: The Constitution clearly says; Marriage is recognized between a man and a woman. Everything else is invalid. Not only is it invalid, but also an abomination before The Lord.

For the bible? Also gives the same death penalty punishment for adulterers as it does for homosexuals and the bible? Actually condemns adultery a hundred verses to each single verse against homosexuality. And another interesting thing is? Jesus never ONCE spoke against homosexuality, but he sure did against adultery now didn't he?
But you would not know this with the lack of condemnation by Christians against adultery. Maybe it is because? After my interaction with people, I came to a conclusion that gender doesn't matter at all, gentle temperament, good character and behavior is more important.
I myself got to experience triple trauma:
1.dealing with a narcissist and other mentally ill person
2.dealing with personality clash
3.dealing with other toxic behaviors
I feel like there are problems that need to be addressed like who will be married and are qualified to become parents, the issue on teenage pregnancy is also a problem...
