I need a massage like this every day. Probably in a ratio of three hours spent at desk, then one hour chair massage. Then break for lunch and repeat sequence.
For stress relief I drink ginger lemon tea at night to relax too ....I definitely had a bad presure side of my neck ,back on my shoulder couldn't move my neck to the left ,my husband got my pressure point and relive the pain and presure ,now I'm better :)
jordana ward I get that sometimes too-when I’m really stressed. And it brings on a slight headache. I usually then work out on the treadmill and it goes away.
I've been watching these videos and giving myself masaages, and doing this has honestly helped me improve my relationship with myself, and literally, have self love. I have anxious habits of picking my face and skin and scratching my scalp, and of course this is related to many, deeper things, but! recently realizing how to give myself love has helped me to understand that my old habits could be considered, acts of self hatred. Thank you for your videos 😍
May I suggest that for your next head massage video you do it on a model with short hair? That way it would be easier to see exactly where to place fingers. Thanks.
My thoughts: 1. The attention factor; it feels good to get positive attention. 2. The body's awareness of itself - similar reason as why you can't tickle yourself.
Lucky girl in the world... Getting such a wonderful massage doing person.... Actually I need it once in a life time with such head relief massage... My head is full of headache....
Many times a headache is caused by an increase in blood flow inside your head. If you don´t want to take in antiinflammatories, a slight compression in the carotid of one or both sides (depending if the pain is unilateral) helps ease the pain really good. I hope this massage does too.
Thanks for this video as a hair stylist I applied these methods at the shampoo bowl and I was able relieve pain for my client after she had been suffering from a constant head ache for 6 months! Due to a blood clot in their brain
I find that when I go for a professional massage, the neck and scalp is severely neglected even when asked that to be the main focus; they are more concerned with the other areas. I always leave dissatisfied.
Yes!!!! Always too much back for me even though I ask to concentrate on the neck.. I know it's all connected and they know what they're doing - but I'm always internally screaming "more neck! More neck!" Hahaha
Was in Austin just last week, wish I'd have seen this then!! Seriously, therapists like you could make a killing marketing yourselves to schools - teachers would pay a buck or two a minute all day for this exact treatment. You'd never run out of clients nor have a slow day!
I get insane tension headaches right above my brain stem on my two lobes on the back of my head. Just pressing up on the back of my head relieves so much tension. I need this!
The secret is correct posture. I work at a corporate office in front of a computer for 9 hours a day & I never have pain. Just be aware of your body position. Keep your feet on the floor and your spine straight, and keep your neck loose.
elainebelyeu I worked at a computer with one of those goofy kneeling chairs for some time and that thing was great until you want to take a few minutes to lean back and relax. No back means no leaning.
Thank you so much for this! I followed along as best as I could, doing self massage. My neck is still stiff but it's also loosened up more than I thought it would. My head hurts so I am sure I used more pressure than I should have. Felt really good around the ears.
be forewarned- I have chronic migraines- I have tried this. I felt better for three hours- then had the worst attack ever. 2 and half days of agony. This consistently happened when I went to a physical therapist, an osteopath, and a random well meaning friend for this kind of treatment. Be careful migraine sufferers.

Jason Ross if you ever become a CEO, I’ll work for you!!!
I agree as a student we spend most of are time at a desk which is why my neck and shoulders are all hunched or tense
You got deep pockets 💵💸
My dream job.
Jason Ross Actually one hour is way too long for a massage, 30 or 15 mins is better.
Ugh, I desperately need this kind of massage.

When I get my time of the month headaches this would feel like heaven 😍
I wish I had someone to do that for me. I've had a headache over a week now.
Donna Hannah always seek medical help if that happens again. I had a splitting headache and went to hospital to find out I had menengitis!!
For future reference either go to the doctors or drink more water dehydration is the leading cause of headaches
Some peppermint tea helps

Such a relaxing massage!
ONION YAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder why it feels different, when somebody does it compared to your own hands
My thoughts:
1. The attention factor; it feels good to get positive attention.
2. The body's awareness of itself - similar reason as why you can't tickle yourself.
LordNifty Yeah, I am ticklish on my neck, when somebody tickles me. But I am so ticklish on my feet, that I can tickle myself, when touching them. 😅
Damn such a relaxing , asmr triggering voice very similar too Lita
Do you mean the difference between getting a massage and actually massaging someone?
It won't feel the same due to different neurological/sensational processes
Great therapist. Really enjoyed this video
Looks so good...I've had a 24/7 headache since March 1995; yes, nearly 25 years. I desperately need some pain relief.
OMG. Poor you. I hope it gets better.
@@ampa4989 Thanks, but obviously I will die with it, but hopefully not from it.😥😭
@@1purplerose
I hope not. I hope it'll dissipate someday, somehow or medicine will find a relief for you. Sounds awful, but let's hope.
Same...I've had a 24/7 headache since 2019..... I'm living on pain killers..... I hope someday I'll be fine..

Can you make an asmr version of this?
H yess
its amazing how strong the mind is to where you can almost feel everything she is doing based on muscle memories activating

RubyPearl82 exactly, the masseuses are too obsessed with shoulders.🌚
Same!!!!!!
A lot of therapists get nervous on the neck- and scalines are severely neglected. It’s my favorite part of my job and all my clients are so thankful

If y'all need another model I'll be happy to help. I live in the same area kinda
